I've been frequenting the Bar Trattoria alla Nave "Mami" for years now, and I can confidently say that it's the absolute go-to place for anyone seeking fresh fish, cooked with respect and simplicity in Marano Lagunare. The quality of the fish has always been excellent, with the freshest ingredients showcased to the fullest thanks to a simple and respectful cuisine. The owner is a wonderful person: attentive, helpful, and always ready to recommend the best options based on the day and the catch. Trust him, you won't go wrong. The real must? The selection of appetizers: raw, warm, and cooked. A journey of flavor that captures the lagoon like few others. What I particularly appreciate is the absolute respect for seasonality and local catch: you don't come here to find the same things over and over again, but to taste what the sea and lagoon have to offer at that moment. It's a philosophy that requires trust, but one that always pays off, and which unfortunately is becoming increasingly rare these days. The wine selection is also very pleasant, mostly from Friuli but with a few fine Slovenian labels, perfectly in tune with the restaurant's cuisine and the surrounding area. If you're looking for authenticity, passion, and fish prepared to perfection, this is the place. We'll return time and time again. A little tip: book well in advance, especially in the summer. Given the restaurant's popularity and well-deserved success, securing a table at the last minute is practically impossible.

As the reviews suggested, we had the opportunity to dine at Nave Mami more than two months after our reservation, but once we were seated, we understood why! We gave the owner carte blanche for the appetizers: we ordered them all... but in the end, we gave up on the mussels and clams; we just couldn't take it anymore. The choice turned out to be spot on, each one better than the last, starting with the raw fish, which were spectacular! Finally, when we asked for the bill, another pleasant surprise: €63 for two, with half a glass of white wine and a bottle of water! Now we'll have to book to be able to arrive and try at least the main courses... Highly recommended, very good value and very kind staff. See you soon!

An exceptional gourmet experience. (unexpected). I often eat at seafood restaurants, but this was a real feast of flavors. Exceptional, and at very reasonable prices.

This trattoria was unfortunately fully booked for several weeks. So we went to the place next door. It was also highly recommended. Marano is very small and peaceful.

A very rustic location in the center of Marano, nestled in a charming alleyway, a must-visit for anyone seeking excellent seafood. From raw fish to hot appetizers, from fresh pasta to fried fish, not to mention the desserts, this experience is a boat trip on the lagoon that leads to the discovery of incredible gastronomic treasures. Recommended!

Excellent trattoria with an exclusive menu of very fresh and very well prepared fish.

The seafood is excellent and plentiful, the staff is friendly and professional, and the prices are fair. The only downside is that the place is dated and in need of renovation.
