01/05/2025: Choice between various types of grilled meat menus and different prices. We ate very well, the meat was very good, the staff was helpful and friendly. We woke up full (but not heavy) and satisfied. Ready to continue our trip among the castles in the area. Would I go back? Of course YES

16/05/2025: A nice surprise, the place is very nice and the cuisine is really remarkable not only for the excellent price-quantity ratio, but for the quality of the ingredients and their preparation. Definitely recommended, only observation is that it is a lively pub so you have to take into account a certain liveliness of volume.

05/05/2025: Locale che all'ingresso si presenta bene e ordinato buona la accoglienza. Ci hanno fatto accomodare in un stanza con pochi di tavoli e di giusta distanza. Le cruditè al naturale troppo care 7 euro al pz se ci fosse stato avrei ordinato una proposta di un piatto degustazione senza pensarci. Quindi abbiamo preso finger fish 5 antipasti di mare caldo una spuma di baccalà mantecato coperto da troppa salsa di pomodoro un gambero di frittura pesante una polpetta fritta di pesce speziato anonima una buona seppia e una buona capesanta semplici alla piastra e un altro antipasto di solo baccalà mantecato. Fregola ai mini frutti di mare tutti sgusciati discutibile uno spaghettone al curry troppo carico ma di buona mantecatura con scampi crudi e cotti da ricercare nel piatto. Acqua una buona bottiglia di rosè e due caffe. Buono il servizio. Peccato francamente viste le recensioni ci aspettavamo di meglio....

04/05/2025: Una cena di venerdì sera, una coppia di amici, un amico aggiuntosi all’ultimo momento, mia moglie ed io. Accoglienti, servizio ottimo, carta dei vini con ottima scelta (per tutte le tasche) e sempre protesa alla qualità. Sul cibo c è ben poco da dire : materia prima di livello valorizzata da un’ottima cucina. Siamo gia tornati piu volte e continueremo a frequentare questo ristorante

15/05/2025: A very pleasant place, with a welcoming setting. The waitress was really kind, and the dishes were very good. A small slip on the gluten-free pasta with ragù (it seemed almost raw) but the other dishes were really delicious. Must try the Thai beef!

11/03/2025: We went on Sunday for lunch, it was the first time, but we will definitely be back, small but nice atmosphere, few tables but so you are served with more care and you feel at home, the food was excellent, we had a fish starter, fried fish and fish tortelli, plentiful and all very soft, so you can feel the freshness of the product, even the excellent desserts, and all at a really competitive price for fish, the staff was very nice and kind, we will definitely be back to try other dishes.

04/05/2025: Cercavo con un amico un posto dove pranzare a Reggio Emilia e abbiamo trovato per caso questo locale dove siamo stati benissimo! Menu vegano/vegetariano ricco di eccellenti sfumature. Abbiamo provato un primo e un hamburger, entrambi vegani e la soddisfazione è stata al massimo. Un valore aggiunto è il locale molto carino e accogliente e soprattutto il personale gentilissimo e attento, veramente complimenti. Lo consiglio vivamente

23/04/2025: I recently had lunch here for the first time and I found every dish to be decidedly of quality, it is certainly a place that I recommend and not only for the cuisine, but also for the tranquility of the location and the large spaces that allow for large tables.

18/05/2025: Fabulous discovery just a stone's throw from home!! We had dinner on Friday night, I had heard good things about it and I was curious to try it.... Too bad I didn't do it before!! Very welcoming location (and I can't wait to try the terrace), already at the entrance you realize the wonders you can taste... Mushrooms galore, truffles, courgette flowers.. The menu from appetizer to dessert is spectacular! We had 4 appetizers: mushroom crostini, cheese platter with honey, fried mushrooms and mushroom crostone (we like mushrooms😂). 4 second courses: pumpkin tortelli with black truffle, gnocchi cacio pepe and black traftufo, tagliatelle with blackthorn and cappelletti reggiani (superlative). Bottle of lagrein, and 3 desserts... The service is the highlight, very very good!! Very fair price (I expected more). We have already booked two more dates. I can't wait to go back!!!

10/05/2025: Ristorante circondato nel verde, personale presente e cibo ottimo: sono questi gli ingredienti per un’ottimo pranzo. Consiglio i funghi fritti per l’aperitivo, le tagliatelle ai funghi, per primo, e torta di mele e crema come dessert.

11/04/2025: Before or after a tour of Reggio is a guarantee, always excellent and genuine ramen, perfect gyoza and takoyaki. Informal environment, affable owner and fast service. It is advisable to book for dinner, on the weekend or if you are in a group: few places (and many with stools). Ample parking nearby. They often organize themed events. Dattebayo!

06/05/2025: Al Gattonero Osteria con Giardino, ogni dettaglio sembra pensato per trasformare una semplice cena in un’esperienza da raccontare. E questa volta, il gattonero ha davvero portato fortuna: una serata perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista, resa ancora più speciale dalla compagnia travolgente di Danilo e Tiziana; due anime romane autentiche, capaci di riempire l’atmosfera di calore, allegria e quella romanità irresistibile che conquista al primo sorriso. La cucina? Un trionfo. Si è aperto con un antipasto che era già una promessa mantenuta: culatello di rara delicatezza, parmigiano reggiano stagionato con carattere e una composta di pere che legava tutto con una dolcezza elegante. A seguire, gli gnocchini ripieni di salsiccia e formaggio filante: piccoli scrigni di gusto, ricchi e appaganti. I cappelletti in brodo, caldi e avvolgenti, sapevano di casa, di domeniche in famiglia, con un brodo limpido e intenso che scaldava il cuore. Ma la vera apoteosi è arrivata con il carrello dei dolci: un girotondo di golosità che ha lasciato tutti senza parole — dalla zuppa inglese cremosa al semifreddo al gianduia, dalla torta al cioccolato con una punta di piccantezza intrigante fino all’inatteso, sorprendente tiramisù alla liquirizia(è bastato solo assaggiarne un cucchiaino). Una chiusura dolce, originale, memorabile. Insomma, se il gatto nero è tradizionalmente visto come portatore di sfortuna, questa volta ha portato solo cose belle. Ottimo cibo, risate sincere e una compagnia da incorniciare. È proprio vero: certe serate hanno un sapore speciale e questa rimarrà nel cuore a luogo. Chapeau

06/05/2025: There are experiences that go beyond simply "eating well": they become moments to remember, to tell, to relive with a smile. The evening at Gattonero Osteria con Giardino was exactly this: a perfect mix of taste, atmosphere and, above all, wonderful company. Danilo and Tiziana, true Roman spirits, brought with them all the warmth, irony and generosity typical of the Capital. Between sincere laughter and passionate stories, they made the dinner even more special, transforming the table into a small corner of Rome. The menu? Simply sublime. We started with a textbook appetizer: soft and fragrant culatello, flakes of parmigiano reggiano seasoned to perfection, combined with a pear compote that delicately enhanced its flavor. Then, a delicious surprise: gnocchini stuffed with sausage and stringy cheese, a small indulgence that no one could resist. The cappelletti in broth, comfort food par excellence, were a hymn to tradition: handmade pasta and an intense, warm and enveloping broth. And just when you thought you had reached the peak, here is the dessert trolley, a real parade of temptations: the creamy and well-balanced trifle, the semifreddo with rich and velvety gianduia chocolate, a chocolate cake with a spicy and unexpected touch... The only regret: not having also taken the liquorice tiramisu... bold and surprising, a teaspoon was enough to elect it probably the best ever eaten. An evening like this is a reminder that good food and good company are the most powerful combination there is. Rating: 10 cum laude. I'll be back. And I'll bring friends.

28/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo con la famiglia, abbiamo mangiato tutto a base di pesce: come antipasto ho assaggiato un calamaro ripieno morbidissimo con verdure croccanti, risotto di pesce abbondante e ben cucinato, reginette fatte in casa con pomodorini e orata veramente buonissime così come la grigliata di pesce, servizio veloce e professionale, torneremo per provare la cucina tradizionale.
