07/03/2026: Negative: They don't accept dogs/animals, even small ones. They offer zero flexibility for holding a Maltese. This should be highlighted on the various websites. We booked a week in advance for a party, but at 1:45 PM they didn't accept us.

09/10/2025: What can I say? La Barrique, for me, is the best seafood restaurant in the area. Let's start by saying that the customer care is evident right from the entrance. The place is simple and refined, the atmosphere is relaxing and not stuffy. The few tables available are intelligently selected, there's tasteful background music, and the food is masterfully prepared with attention to every detail, both culinary and aesthetic. The raw materials are top-quality. As for the drinks, we could write a book, but I'll limit myself to saying that the wine selection is not left to chance: top-quality French wines, cremant method, and so on... 5 out of 5 stars, simply fantastic.

It's located in the heart of the historic center (between Piazza Prampolini and San Prospero), lively, warm, and familiar. We popped in out of curiosity and left with bellies full of joy, light hearts, and the absolute certainty: we'll be back whenever we can. Dinner totaled €40 for two: quality, quantity, and enjoyment deserved a standing ovation! We ordered the legendary "Prepotenza Suina": a 900g pork ribs with aromatic herbs, cooked at a low temperature until tender, juicy, and fragrant—it literally falls off the bone with a fork! The herbs add that perfect aromatic touch; nothing heavy or greasy, just top-quality meat cooked to perfection. And the baked potatoes on the side? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, just the right amount of flavor: the perfect pairing that lets you finish it all without regrets. To finish on a sweet note, a delicious homemade profiterole – creamy, balanced, the perfect counterpoint to so much pork "arrogance." Everything is authentic, nothing industrial, just how we like it. The atmosphere is an explosion of joy: hot pink everywhere, super cute pigs (the logo is already iconic!), and fun decorations that make you smile from the first second. The service? Pure kindness, funny jokes, just the right speed: they treat you like a lifelong friend. Generous portions (that 900g ribs is an epic challenge, but one we won with honor!). In a word: phenomenal. Terme del Colesterolo isn't just a restaurant, it's a pork full love experience.

21/02/2026: ...Just before a blood test, don't you want to visit the Cholesterol Spa?!? 😅 There were 3 of us, and it would have been our first taste of the "pig," and so it was!!! A downtown restaurant that exudes friendliness and passion from the wonderful host, "Cocco," and above all, "fat" from every wall of the place 😜, with all the photos, ironic paintings, and spa slogans....!!! A truly original and one-of-a-kind culinary experience in every dish. We expected dishes that would raise our cholesterol, and we were rightly rewarded! No offense to other dishes, but a special mention goes to His Majesty Fried Cotechino, Fried Erbazzone, Porchetta Lasagna, and the Sausage and Lambrusco Tortelli, not to mention the slow-cooked pork ribs... just look at the bone, which falls off on its own, leaving that succulent and tender meat, a unique pleasure!!!!! 🔝🔝🔝 But if there was something that struck us even more positively during our lunch, it was the gift Cocco gave us with his presence at our table. We felt privileged in this sense, he spent quite a while with us, sharing stories from the past and anecdotes of his experience at his restaurant, with his disarming wit, but always with discretion!!! He alone IS WORTH the TRIP!!! An experience we'll definitely repeat, and may the "Pig be with you"!!!

30/10/2025: Everything was excellent. We had the mixed fried fish and hamburger (meat and chicken), and the baby had tagliatelle. The service was friendly and fast, and the new location is beautiful!

08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella. The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint. The staff is professional and friendly. The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines. Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner. The zuppa inglese is truly delicious. The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone. Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.

27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked. If I ever come back to the area, I'll definitely return.

14/12/2025: Superior!!! Eating in this simple, authentic setting is always a treat. The tortelli are amazing, and the meat melts in your mouth. Another plus, of course, is Vanni and his wife, who are a living spectacle.

18/12/2025: Before or after a stroll through Reggio's city center, this small and welcoming place is a guarantee: it offers tasty and authentic ramen, undoubtedly the best in the city, paired with exceptional gyoza and perfect takoyaki. The atmosphere is very casual, the owner Luca is quite affable, and the service is fast, but sometimes a bit disorganized at lunch. Reservations are recommended for dinner, on weekends, or if you're in a group, given the limited seating (many with stools). They often host food-themed and/or Japanese-themed dinners. The tapas are the best. Dattebayo!

16/12/2025: We went to Ramengo tonight for Wagyu evening, after having already been there once for lunch: I can definitely confirm the excellent impression. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and relaxing, perfect for both a casual dinner and a special evening. The food is truly top-notch: balanced ramen, quality ingredients, excellent meat (the Wagyu is truly worth it), and dishes with attention to detail. The prices are also very positive, absolutely fair and consistent with the quality offered, which is not always a given. Attentive service and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. From me, a very high rating.

08/03/2026: Exceptional takeout pizzeria in Rubiera (RE)! Guys, what can I say? This takeout pizzeria in Rubiera is a real gem! I tried their "panuozzo" and it was out of this world: super filling, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. But the real surprise were the "meatballs." They were incredibly flavorful. A side dish or a treat not to be missed. You can really tell they put passion into it and use quality ingredients. If you're in Rubiera and crave something truly delicious, don't think twice, go there! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
