17/02/2026: The Croce di Malta restaurant in the heart of Parma was a delightful rediscovery. It's a historic venue, but for various reasons, it had been a long time since I'd been there.
The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, perfect for a quiet dinner or a relaxing lunch. The food exceeds every expectation: the quality of the ingredients is excellent, and each dish is prepared with care and skill. The menu offers a refined selection that satisfies the most discerning palates, from traditional flavors to more innovative options. I recommend the ribollita and the rabbit tuna. The service is impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff. A culinary experience I highly recommend! I'll be back soon!
19/12/2025: I can't say I had a bad meal, but the mixed cured meats appetizer with mortadella was anything but! At that price, I would have preferred a more "noble" cured meat! Roast beef was good, but served too cold; I would have preferred it lukewarm or at least room temperature!

06/11/2025: My wife and I were seated at a small table (to say the least is a small one) very close to other tables, with zero privacy, and we heard everyone else's conversations... DISAPPOINTMENT, a shame because the pizza is good, but we won't be back.
07/10/2025: Fantastic café. I often go there for breakfast or just a coffee. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the products are excellent.
Highly recommended.

28/03/2026: We'd been eyeing this place for a while, and after a while, we finally managed to find a table because it's often packed and you have to order. A friendly, down-to-earth place, unpretentious, with excellent food and good prices. Highly recommended.
24/03/2026: Tasty and authentic food, true to Parma tradition. I recommend trying any of the horsemeat sandwiches. Service is pretty good, though the only drawbacks are the slow service (15-20 minutes for a sandwich is too long) and the staff are a bit cold towards customers. The atmosphere could be cleaner. Overall, worth a try.

01/02/2026: The pizza is good (wood-fired oven and pizza by the meter for large tables).
Trattoria-style cuisine with decent fish dishes (plentiful and tasty).
A place like it used to be: good value and authentic Neapolitan cuisine in a place where even children can have fun.
Ps.: The wooden model of the "Amerigo Vespucci" at the entrance between the register and the wood-fired oven is beautiful.

17/03/2026: A lucky find on our way home. Here you experience authentic Italianità – the hostess cooks and serves herself. The menu is small (except with advance booking), but absolutely delicious. The beetroot gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce were divine, and the recommended wine was a perfect match 😍 Our children had tagliatelle with a superbly seasoned ragù. All in all, we ate a generous portion for under €80, including wine. Despite the usual noise from children, we felt very welcome, and the service was incredibly friendly. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

07/03/2026: We booked for 18, but we waited an hour for our pizzas. The prices were a bit high for an average pizza. To top it all off, they refused to let us pay our bills separately, which is required by law. The place is nice and clean, but the real Palazzo Orlandi isn't like that; it's further up the road. Bottom line: I can't say I felt welcome, and I doubt I'll be back.

13/01/2026: It's not the first time I've been completely ignored by the bartender upon entering: maybe it's just happened to me, I don't know, but sitting down and not knowing whether you'll be served at your table or if you'll have to go to the counter to order until you get there is unpleasant... I'm sorry, but this is my personal experience.
