26/09/2025: I ordered a pizza with three flavors to take away, very good, both the ingredients and the dough, excellent I will return oh I also forgot the kind and courteous service.

28/08/2025: Friendly welcome, which immediately accommodated a special request I had. The wait times were reasonable in my opinion, communicated in advance and respected. The lager beer on tap was excellent. The pizza "al padellino" (I hope I didn't mispronounce it) was truly AMAZING!!! Overall and in every detail, I really enjoyed it. I'll be back to try other options on the menu. Thank you 🙏

06/10/2025: We had lamb chops and osso buco, each for €28. The osso buco had a maximum of 100 grams of meat, and it wasn't even tasty. It came with a bit of braised pumpkin. The two lamb chops were tough. They also came with a side of onion. This was by far the worst meal we had in our almost three weeks in Italy. Terrible value for money.

28/09/2025: We had a bad experience when we were asked to comment on a dish served to us, the owner responded to the criticism in a vulgar and offensive way, appearing unprofessional.

21/10/2025: I had dinner with my girlfriend and my parents, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I must emphasize the warm welcome from the managers and the exquisite helpfulness of the waiters. I must praise the quality of the food, especially the grilled meat and the fresh meat tartare bowl. They have a loyalty card, which is very useful for discounts. I highly recommend this place. Well done!

25/09/2025: Unfortunately, high customer traffic as a sign of a good choice didn't prove to be the case here. It was very crowded and everything seemed rather rustic, but the food was okay, and wine simply tastes better from a nice, clean glass. I witnessed the glass I had complained about, which was dirty due to the waiter's dirty hands, simply being wiped clean and returned. If that's what you're after... you can eat much better outside of the city center.

17/09/2025: The wine selection is truly sensational and highly recommended. The mixed platter, on the other hand, unfortunately didn't impress us—we had hoped for something more. I can't comment on the ambiance inside, as we sat outside. For us, it was more of a nice spot for an aperitif with good wine, rather than a place to linger for a while.

02/08/2025: Evening aperitif in Parma's historic center at this venue, which also offers outdoor seating. Service is rather slow, the cocktails are passable but nothing special, and the aperitif is served with a measly bowl of chips and two mini bruschettas. Definitely not a place I'd recommend for an aperitif.

Qui non si trovano solo i classici gusti, ma vere e proprie creazioni originali che riescono a conquistare anche i palati più curiosi. Dai sapori più particolari come “Fior di sale e caramello” o “Ricotta e fichi” fino a combinazioni più audaci, ogni gusto è una scoperta. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero imbattibile: con soli 2,5€ ti porti a casa una coppetta o un cono ricco di gusto e cremosità. Le porzioni sono generose e gli ingredienti freschi si sentono ad ogni cucchiaino. L’atmosfera è accogliente e il personale sempre disponibile a consigliare il gusto perfetto per te. Se sei alla ricerca di qualcosa di diverso dalla solita gelateria, Calypso è sicuramente una tappa obbligatoria. 🍨

03/10/2025: Contrary to the many positive reviews, we encountered the kitchen on a particularly heavy Friday evening, I suspect. The Parma ham was hard and dry, as if it had been sliced ​​long beforehand. Nothing like the other hams we've had in Parma; there wasn't a trace of fat left on it. The pasta (in brodo) seemed to have been made by two different people—one half was still quite tasty, the other half overcooked, tart, and with cracks that clouded the broth. The raviolo melanzane had so much cheese and spices in it that you couldn't taste any eggplant. The osso buco was very good, but my duck leg was so incredibly dry that the evening was truly beyond repair. The young man serving us probably needed some training and twice couldn't tell us which dishes he was actually serving us. He had no idea, and even said so with our main courses. Everyone has to learn it all at some point—but at least help that kid in the first few days, instead of abandoning him. A pathetic evening to spend a good 100 euros on disappointments in every course.

23/08/2025: I've been going to this pizzeria for 8 years, and every time I go, I'm very happy. The pizzas are delicious, with a light and digestible dough. The first and second courses are also very good. The staff is very kind and welcoming.

15/07/2025: After a few days, I'm writing a review for this place. I'll start by saying that I'd dined there before, and for better or worse, the dinner had been good value for money. But this review isn't about that. This dinner was absolutely unforgettable, not so much for the pizza but for the treatment I received from the staff, especially the lady at the cash register. The evening began with the waitress taking an order for about 20 pizzas, each one marked down individually. After about an hour, all arrived except three, which arrived about 40 minutes later, after everyone had already finished dinner (these pizzas had clearly been forgotten). I received no apology for the delay. In one of these, there was a problem, which I had mistakenly reported only at checkout, in a very calm and polite manner. The result? A verbal attack from the cashier, in a high-pitched voice, making me feel uncomfortable in front of other customers...never in all these years had something like this happened to me! Are you kidding? How dare you say to a customer things like, "If you don't know what's on pizza, read it (shouting)" or "It's your sour mouth, not our products" or "We don't want you here anymore." Saying these things to a customer who pays you, and what's more, your salary is unacceptable to say the least. I will certainly never set foot in this restaurant again, as requested, and I strongly advise against dining here if you're a large group looking to celebrate and have a pleasant evening; if there's a problem, you'll find yourself arguing and ruining your evening! The situation could have been resolved very simply: by talking. By attacking a customer, you immediately put yourself in the wrong. If I were you, I'd be ASHAMED! Under no circumstances should you address a customer this way, NO ONE!

23/07/2025: Recomendado por un residente local. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida - pasta fresca. Muy ocupado fuera (necesita reservar mesa con antelación). En realidad el ambiente en el interior era muy agradable y con aire acondicionado. Proporcione pan pequeño y salami como parte del cargo de cobertura. Ligeramente más caro que otros restaurantes pero de buena calidad. Tortellini muy agradable, pero se habría mejorado con una salsa. Postres muy buenos.

20/07/2025: Dopo il consiglio di uno del posto ceniamo in questo ristorante . Beh la location è molto bella, fuori è proprio sul viale centrale a Parma dentro è tutto ben curato e molto belllo. Ordiniamo, ci portano un salamino ,un panino e un coltello offerto dalla casa. Buonissimo e molto carina l’idea. Abbiamo preso una spalla cotta e una verticale di parmigiano. Beh che dire una bontà pazzesca , qualità ottima . L’unico neo erano lo gnocco fritto davvero buoni, peccato che non li avessimo chiesti e poi trovati sullo scontrino a 5 euro. Ecco queste cose non si fanno , stonano col punteggio positivo . Poi abbiamo preso 2 secondi un filetto di angus, beh stupefacente !! Qualità ottima e cottura perfetta, le mie papille gustative gioivano. È una rosa di Parma , azzz molto buono, bello tosto, un piatto ricco e importante . Impegnativo. Però molto buono ! Secondo me l’esperienza in questo ristorante dipende da chi ti serve, a noi a servito un signore di 74 anni bravissimo , un servizio che non trovo più ormai anche in ristoranti stellati. Attento, gentile, preparatissimo e sveglio , complimenti a lui peccato non ricordo il nome. Ho specificato questo perché all’uscita del locale vado a pagare e se non ho capito male il tipo alla cassa era il proprietario. Azz simpatia e empatia ZERO , si è limitato a far pagare e a chiedere nulla se era tutto ok ecc. se mi avesse servito lui me ne sarei andato dopo 2 minuti dentro al ristorante . Come rovinare la reputazione di un locale. Comunque 1 spalla 1 formaggi 12 filetti acqua e una bottiglia di vino 130 euro Se non era per il finale col proprietario avrei dato 5 solo x il servizio del signore .
