07/03/2026: This trattoria offers both a fixed-price menu for a quick lunch or business lunch, or à la carte if you're looking for a local specialty. I chose à la carte and was satisfied. Everything seems to be made "on-site," even the fresh pasta. The place is crowded and noisy, but still warm and welcoming. The bathroom is clean. The price is fair.

20/01/2026: Once I've finished browsing the great food shops near Piazza Ghiaia, I always pull up a stool beside the barrels outside Café Tano and join the locals for a caffé. Friendly service, great atmosphere (ideal for people watching), excellent coffee and not a tourist in sight (at least not early in the morning when I visit)

14/03/2026: We ordered two pasta dishes, a side of grilled vegetables and a half jar of wine. We were never offered bread, grissini or anything else. The food was basic but ok. When we got our check, there was a 6 euro charge for a convert. That was almost 20% of the amount t of the total check. When we addressed it, instead of fixing it, the waiter justified it by poiting to the paper tablecover. Unacceptable. We travel much a d eat out often and I have never been charged a cover for the tablecloth. Disappointed.

15/02/2026: We dined at Trattoria La Boschina and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant is elegant and welcoming, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The pisarei were excellent, prepared according to tradition and rich in flavor. The sea bass with artichokes won us over with its delicate and balanced flavors.
The service was courteous and professional. A pleasant discovery in the Tabiano area.
09/02/2026: Nice place. The cured meats appetizer was very poor, and the portion of stew with baked potatoes was truly meager. Prices were too high and not commensurate with the quantity. We left hungry. I wouldn't recommend it.

24/11/2025: I gave it only one star for a very specific reason: I clearly saw the food service worker handling the piadinas without wearing gloves, as required by law. He picked up and stuffed the speck slices into my piadina with his bare hands, in defiance of hygiene and food service regulations!

07/03/2026: The dining room is very elegant, and features a piano with a portrait of Giuseppe Verdi. There's a disabled bathroom for customers. The chandeliers are beautiful.
15/02/2026: We went to this place on the recommendation of an acquaintance, but unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The place was dirty, poorly maintained, and the customers were quite shady. We waited an extremely long time for our order to be taken, and just as long for the dishes, which were all in all good and traditional. Another unpleasant aspect is that they don't have a menu, but instead offer only four dishes verbally and rudely. The price was fair for the quality of the food, but excessive for the type of service provided.
