08/05/2026: Overrated pizza; the dough is good, light but average. In my case, a simple Neapolitan pizza, very little tomato and an excessive layer of cheese, 4 anchovies, and 4 capers. I wasn't thrilled; I'll go back and try the gourmet version.

15/02/2026: We returned to Osteria del Calderone for the second time, and once again the experience was simply fantastic. The first time, we came on the recommendation of friends from Parma: we're from Cremona and had set out with one goal in mind: torta fritta. We discovered not only an exceptional torta fritta, accompanied by top-quality cured meats, but also the "Sgonfiett," a real surprise: the one with fontina and cooked shoulder ham and the one with gorgonzola are truly special. The portions are so generous that we couldn't even finish them all, and when we took home what was left, we discovered that, even the next day, reheated in the oven, it was still delicious—and that's not a given. This second time, we returned for our Valentine's Day lunch, just my partner Matteo and I, and we finally got to try other dishes that we'd only overlooked the previous time. The pumpkin tortelli were superb, and the herb tortelli were delicate and truly well-made. Then two cuts of beef: venison and Angus, both excellent, accompanied by baked potatoes and mixed salad. The wine was also excellent: we chose a Chianti with a truly rare quality-price ratio, especially considering how much you eat and the satisfaction you leave with. We're almost disappointed we don't have photos to share, but the truth is that once the dishes arrive, the thought of taking photos doesn't even occur: the focus is entirely on the quality of the food and the pleasure of eating it. A special thanks to Giorgia, always present, kind, and elegant in her service; to Valentina, who knows how to put guests at ease with naturalness and professionalism; and to Filippo, for the atmosphere that reigns here. An osteria we gladly return to, and will return to again.

02/02/2026: Smaller than other more "renowned" outlets, but I personally found it very nice. Convenient and easy to get to (right off the highway). The parking lot is very spacious; you may not find a spot right away, but with a little patience, you can find one without much difficulty. The "village" is well-organized, clean, and the stores are well-arranged. My only flaw (unless I was distracted) was that I couldn't find any flyers with a store map, which I always find very useful at these centers (again, maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I didn't find any). Overall, I really liked it.

03/05/2026: Leaving Fidenza Village, we found the place online. The food was delicious. Parking was very difficult. All parking areas are paid. On Sundays, there's no charge, so we found a spot in a parking lot a three-minute walk from the restaurant.

02/05/2026: A genuine restaurant, perhaps a little dated inside, but the service is friendly and helpful. This seafood restaurant offers a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. I'd definitely return for the food and price.

28/03/2026: What can I say? After so many years of frequenting the restaurant, it was a huge disappointment. We went for dinner on January 6th. The restaurant was empty, and we were the only customers. Later, we understood why. Between the cold, the peperinvino oil expired in June 2025, the Conad-brand pepper, the non-European extra virgin olive oil, the tasteless dishes, the paccheri pasta too al dente, the sea bream that looked like papier-mâché, the zuppa inglese tasted like chewing gum, and the car (I imagine the chef's) was already running when we left around 9:30 PM. A disappointment, a shame for the memories of the glories of the past.

26/04/2026: April 15, 2026 I was craving a coffee mid-morning, so since I was in the area, I stopped in. The outdoor setting is very pleasant, with covered tables in the square. Upon entering, there are tables and the decor is pleasant. The counter area could be improved. I ordered a coffee (€1.40), which was served with a small glass of water. The coffee was good, and the service was polite. I recommend this place.

24/01/2026: We had an aperitif and lunch before going to the QC Terme di Salsomaggiore, which is located right in front of the bar. It's recommended for those who, like us, are spending half a day there and need a comfortable place without spending too much!

06/01/2026: Pizzeria with a wide selection of classic and original pizzas. I tried the charcoal-baked dough, which was very light and easy to digest. Overall, however, the ingredients and toppings seemed good quality, but mostly... The decor is a bit dated and not particularly original. The service was very good. The price was fair.

02/05/2026: I feel sorry for the nice lady, but it was a disappointment. We went for lunch based on the reviews, but the food was terrible, especially for Emilia. We had a "Delizie di Parma" appetizer, but the cured meats seemed dry and tasteless. The tagliatelle with culatello... terrible, tasteless, and tasted like they'd been reheated in the microwave. The "tris della duchessa" was acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. Plus, we didn't spend much. Truly disappointed.
