⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic discovery! From the outside, Spaccacucchiaio looks like a small, charming restaurant, but once you step inside, you are completely surprised. We were received incredibly warmly and were given a table in the beautiful garden. What an atmospheric, romantic setting… the perfect place for a summer evening. The heavy metal menu was an original and fun icebreaker right away. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and provided a delicious start to the evening. As an amuse-bouche, we enjoyed an exquisite grilled scallop. The ladies chose delicious, authentic pastas, while I went all out for the Filetto di Maiala Nero. Truly sublime: buttery soft meat that simply melted in the mouth. On the sommelier's recommendation, we paired it with an excellent red wine from Piedmont, a perfect match for the dish. The desserts were also surprising and refined: a tiramisu based on panna cotta and a particularly creamy risotto ice cream with lime oil. A wonderful way to end the day. Everything is perfect here: the warm welcome, the beautiful location, the original dishes, the excellent wine suggestions, and the passion with which everything is presented. For us, this was without a doubt one of the culinary highlights of our holiday. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

In the center of Medesano, on the main road, lies this small restaurant, beautifully renovated and meticulously maintained. The small indoor dining room and the outdoor area behind it allow you to choose your preferred ambiance. The cuisine is truly remarkable, offering both seafood and meat dishes, with a menu that caters to a wide range of tastes. I personally chose seafood, and I must say I was thrilled with the experience. For my first course, I chose long pasta with slipper lobster, a delicious crustacean that requires very special care to bring out the best in a dish. The result was truly excellent. Next came turbot fillets, accompanied by sea asparagus, a saffron mousse, and other sweet and savory "details." This dish was also truly remarkable. To finish, the typical local cake, an exemplary sbrisolona. Completing this restaurant are the extremely refined cuisine and the extremely kind and attentive wait staff, who cater to every need and request. I'd like to point out that to enjoy dishes of this quality, it's not possible to have extremely short waits, but a few extra minutes makes the meal a truly elevated experience. The wine cellar offers local and international products, offering a wide selection to all tastes. The price is absolutely average for this type of cuisine; between €40 and €50 per person, but it's definitely well spent. To complete the experience, convenient free parking is available about thirty meters away.

From the open-plan kitchen, you can watch the chef prepare everything freshly, and the quality of the dishes is immediately evident. His daughter, Sabrina, will be happy to advise you, offering a lively aperitif, a cocktail, or a selection of quality tastings. I assure you, there's no wait to guarantee freshly prepared dishes. The wine list is good, at reasonable prices, with an interesting tour of the regions' finest products. The cuisine has nothing but good things to say: excellent quality, perfectly cooked dishes, flavorful, almost light, and above all, a creative and compelling menu. Convenient restrooms and parking. Average prices, adequate wine list. I will definitely be back.
