11/02/2026: I come for lunch when I'm in the area and order the set menu. Excellent trattoria with a wide variety of food, quality, and quantity. Special mention for the homemade bread. Friendly and efficient. Having seen the à la carte menu, I promised myself I'd come for dinner one evening.

14/03/2026: My wife (who has celiac disease) and I had an exceptional experience at this restaurant. The bread, the torta fritta, and the pasta were as good as, if not better than, the gluten-free version. The fish dish (grilled octopus) was tender and tasty. We ordered bread, which I'm picking up tomorrow, March 15, 2026. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, for everything.

01/03/2026: I loved this restaurant! Traditional dishes as well as innovative options, all excellent. The atmosphere is elegant and there's something for every palate. I've eaten at several 100% gluten-free restaurants, and this is definitely one of the top three.

24/12/2025: Small trattoria in the center of Parma. Good dishes with simple ingredients, except for the desserts (gelato and panettone), which I didn't appreciate. On a negative note, the restrooms were not particularly clean.

29/11/2025: Brisla is a trattoria in the center of Parma, on the edge of the limited traffic zone. A trattoria by name, but a trattoria is my definition, because it's the first thing that comes to mind when you walk in the door. For the way the place presents itself—understated and elegant, everything new, nothing old—for those seats at the counter overlooking the kitchen, for traditional dishes brought into the third millennium in terms of the choice and care of the ingredients, the storytelling and presentation, and the intensity and balance of the flavors. My grandmother used to make the ragù with eggplant, the tagliolini di Brisla are a wonderfully modern interpretation, the rice bomb and the horse carpaccio are quintessential Parma dishes and don't belong to my Bolognese memories, but I loved them dearly. And the same can be said for everything else... The wine list focuses heavily on Italy, and especially Emilia, with many small rarities that are irresistible. Vigna Cunial's Monteroma has changed its label and name, now called 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞, while still remaining enchanting: the Foradori's 𝐋𝐞𝐳𝐞̀𝐫 is intense and velvety, the 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐞 from Cantine dell'Angelo is a blade of freshness scented with minerality. The 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐢 Pinot Noir from Azienda Agricola Il Rio boasts a magnificent nose, with a flavorful presence that certainly doesn't deny its Mugello. 14/03/2026: On the recommendation of the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying, we went to this restaurant. It offers typical Emilian cuisine. The dishes we chose were delicious and excellent value. The fried pizza and cured meats were excellent. The Parma ham from the cured meats platter was SUPERLATIVE. Pappardelle with culatello, mushrooms, and asparagus were EXCEPTIONAL. The desserts were delicious. The restaurant was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Ample parking.

18/10/2025: Super nice people. Campers are allowed to stay for free on the beautiful, spacious property. Even though we were the only guests, they cooked for us in the evening. For anyone with celiac disease: there's a wide selection of gluten-free dishes, and the owner apparently even took a course on it. There was even delicious homemade gluten-free bread!

31/08/2025: A discovery... This cabin sits practically between a forest and a river. It's a well-kept rustic place where simplicity and good food blend beautifully. When I arrived at the parking lot, I noticed four campers. Like with truckers, you eat well and cheaply. Ample parking, good food, and excellent coffee. They even have barrel-aged grappa, which, for me, is a bonus. No one chases you; you can eat peacefully surrounded by nature. The service is good, the owners are courteous and kind, and they make you feel at home, but you don't have to wash the dishes... if you pay 😂. The prices are good, slightly below the quality offered and the setting. I enjoyed a healthy moment of peace and good food. The only downside is that it had rained the day before, and the lawn wasn't perfectly accessible for my nap, which was folded up with the hammock 🥰

24/01/2026: We had an aperitif and lunch before going to the QC Terme di Salsomaggiore, which is located right in front of the bar. It's recommended for those who, like us, are spending half a day there and need a comfortable place without spending too much!

22/10/2025: When it comes to pizza in Langhirano, this is the place to go. The saltiness is just right, and for some reason, I can still eat such a huge pizza. ('-'*) Ahahaha I especially love mushroom season from September to October! Just a little further into the mountains, mushrooms grow so wild that they're so fresh and delicious!
