We had lunch yesterday, April 19. Everything was truly excellent, including the attentive yet informal service.
Considering what we drank, the value for money is excellent.

A truly lovely historic venue. All the dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, we noticed a particular rush—during dinner, at a "normal" time slot, while all the other tables were also full—in clearing the water and dishes from our table...even without our consent and even though they weren't finished. The restrooms were pleasant, with the sound of birdsong.
I highly recommend this place! I had a wonderful experience in every way: from appetizer to dessert, every dish was meticulously crafted, with balanced flavors and meticulous attention to quality. You can sense the passion in the kitchen and the professionalism in the service, always attentive and friendly without being intrusive. A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Kudos to the entire staff; keep up the good work, you really make a difference!

We visited La Nunziadeina Restaurant in Nonantola, located right across from the historic Abbey.
This restaurant has been serving traditional Modenese cuisine since 1926.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by owner Luca Stramaccioni, who immediately conveyed the extremely familiar atmosphere of the place.
The central fireplace, the fulcrum of the room and used to cook the various grilled dishes, is a feast for the eyes and the soul as soon as you see it.
The ingredients used in the kitchen are top-quality and expertly prepared with respect and passion; the staff is always attentive and attentive, never intrusive but always present. Truly well done!!!
Luca is a true enthusiast who knows how to share his tradition, engaging you and sharing his love for cooking.
Extensive and varied wine list, superb dishes, reservations recommended.
We will definitely be back 😉

I had the opportunity to try several dishes, and everything was very good. The mascarpone and apple pie were very good. The wines were also quality. The service was attentive. Not very cheap, though.

A very well-known restaurant in the Nonantola area. Quite large and well-maintained. My partner, my daughter, and I went for lunch. We had gnocco fritto with prosciutto and mortadella (spectacular), excellent tortellini in parmesan cream, out-of-this-world pappardelle with duck and truffle, and delicious grilled pigeon. Everything was truly delicious, nothing to complain about. As for the service, they greeted us very warmly upon arrival, even during lunch they asked if everything was okay, and they even paid special attention to the children (they gave her crayons and a coloring pad) to keep her entertained. The only flaw I would have to point out is that when they cleared away the plates we had finished, no one came to ask if we wanted dessert or anything else. After 15 minutes, we left. Sure, we could have called them, but with such attentive service, I would have expected this kindness. (The restaurant was probably filled with many other diners.)
Prices are perhaps a little high, but considering the quality, that's understandable!
