08/03/2026: You decide to spend a weekend in Modena and don't know where to have dinner, you spend hours on Google looking at the various options and you stumble upon El Gaucho by pure chance... And thank goodness for that! Top-notch meat, fast service, the owner is incredibly friendly, he was at our table the whole evening and we laughed like crazy... Thank you so much for the lovely evening... I highly recommend it... Rating 5...

I've been coming here for 40 years and have never had a bad meal. If you're looking for pizzeria prices, go to a pizzeria: quality comes at a cost.

This is the umpteenth time my order has been wrong: paying for something you didn't ask for is unacceptable, especially if it happens frequently. Carelessness reigns supreme, and there's no respect for the customer. I won't be going back. I called to clarify things... and they behave badly too.
07/05/2026: Excellent trattoria for a business lunch, a set menu with high-quality dishes and a good variety.
The service was quick at first, but then I think the large number of customers overwhelmed the staff.
In any case, everyone was very kind and helpful.
I'll definitely be back at the first opportunity.
When I returned, I had the pizza, which was delicious. The service was also quick this time.

I had a great time both times, it's a very nice place!!
26/05/2026: Disappointed with the service and quality compared to the location and the walk.
Even though it's half an hour or more before closing, everything should be taken care of.
After all, we didn't order anything exceptional. We asked for a fruity or at least non-spicy gin and tonic, which arrived dry. The Spritz, I'll leave you to comment on the photo, tasted like nothing.
If it's worth it, I'll leave €20.
I rarely leave reviews with a poor rating. Frankly, I don't recommend it.

04/06/2026: I've been frequenting this place regularly for a year now, averaging once a month; there's never been a moment where the quality has dropped below my usual level. Excellent, high-quality food, well-crafted and prepared, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
01/06/2026: Completely renovated, very spacious and bright. Ordering is done via tablet: you can order 5 dishes per person every 8 minutes. Very fast service, friendly and helpful staff. Good prices. Recommended!

02/06/2026: We had lunch with a couple of friends the first weekend in May at this typical Modena trattoria. The atmosphere is characteristic of old-fashioned trattorias, with wooden tables and a rustic ambiance. The staff is very friendly, but young and inexperienced, so don't expect impeccable service. However, the quality of the food is excellent and plentiful, and it's mostly local (the tagliatelle with ragù is truly amazing, the meat and cured meats are top-quality, as is the crostata di duroni). The quality/price ratio is exceptional, and the food is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. Highly recommended.
