07/10/2025: A delightful evening spent in great company in this beautiful restaurant

25/09/2025: Seven of us had lunch: tortellini with cream cheese (too runny), vegetarian tortelloni (very poor), tagliata, gnocco fritto (a paltry 2 pieces with culatta per person), rabbit with plums (good), giardiniera, and desserts (which were good). With water, wine, and coffee, €55.00 each... decidedly expensive for the poor quality and quantity.

09/08/2025: My "Sunday" bar I'm not used to having breakfast at the bar, but when I do and want to treat myself, I come here. Pasta, sandwiches, pizzas, dumplings... everything... sweet and savory. Tables outside and inside (season permitting, of course). The friendliness, kindness, and cordiality make the staff the highlight of the bar!

04/08/2025: Excellent café for breakfast (and more)! Very kind and welcoming baristas. I recommend everyone to stop by: it's definitely worth a stop, even just to enjoy a truly excellent coffee.

31/08/2025: Nestled among the pine trees in the center of town, this lovely kiosk offers plenty of seating and a cool spot to enjoy the summer evenings. It's a great place for young people to meet up, while children are advised to arrive before 9 p.m., as the town offers rides within the pine forest.

29/09/2025: Ricco's Antica Trattoria is a historic trattoria that offers typical Modenese cuisine. We had a half-liter of wine and still water, followed by a grilled meat with potatoes, which was good and also abundant with potatoes as a side dish, a delicious tortellone with butter and sage, very good cod fritters, and finally a tasty panna cotta. We had 2 coffees for a total bill of €56, which I consider fair. Very friendly staff.

23/09/2025: The property is located in the beautiful Modena countryside, not far from the city. There you can visit Chef Bottura's ancient vinegar factory. The tour is exclusively in English (for the Italian tour, you must make a separate reservation)... but why, if we're in Italy and the entire group of visitors that morning is Italian? After the tour, you can enjoy a tasting and purchase the chef's selection of balsamic vinegars, and among the many bottles of Modena's Black Gold, you'll also find 250/500 ml bottles of Bottura's signature oil at the same price... when asked why? What's the difference? The kind young lady who guided us... got bogged down and had a hard time explaining the difference and why they were the same price. Two anonymous little bottles, disconnected from their very generalized geographical context in education and rather tied solely to business.

29/09/2025: What a fantastic experience at La Brace in Modena! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warm atmosphere and hospitality. The service is superb – attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. The food is top-quality. The meat is truly unparalleled: tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. An added bonus is that you can watch the meat being prepared, which makes the experience even more special. Every bite was a feast; without a doubt, the best meat I've had in a long time. The combination of the cozy atmosphere, the delicious food, and the excellent service makes this restaurant an absolute must-see. Everything is just perfect here – a place you'll want to return to!

07/10/2025: A little pizza gem in Vignola. Be on time, and hopefully, there's a table available. The service is excellent; with a little English, you can manage quite well. Enormous pizza, as thin as a newspaper, but incredibly delicious!!! Wide selection. Excellent wine. The Caffè Coretto con Sambuca is delicious.

22/08/2025: A historic bar under new management, with young, qualified staff. Suitable for those looking for something refreshing for breakfast or aperitifs. The bartender has unparalleled experience in the Carpi area. The quality of the spirits is very good. Small lunches and league matches are available. If you're passing through Carpi, you MUST STOP.

15/08/2025: A walk-through bar with parking and a lovely outdoor terrace overlooking a small internal park away from the road. Excellent for breakfasts and quick lunches. But the real highlight is the aperitifs! Giuseppe is truly skilled at creating unique and delicious cocktails. In addition to drinks, they have a wide selection of craft beers in cans and on tap!! Federico, with his smile and his friendly manner, made me feel right at home... what can I say, Bada Bing has become my favorite place ❤️

24/08/2025: Amazing pizza. Tried 3 different pies and a saltimbocca I think it's called and every single one was so delicious, so well balanced, and just such an experience. The pizzaiolo here KNOWS what he's doing. He knows how to satisfy your salty, sweet, crunchy, soft, bitter, sour, umami, and creamy craving in 1 bite. Highly recommend it here. Pizza does not take long to make and cook, less than 10 minutes, and he was kind enough to give my husband and I a pie that was half 1 pizza and half another that we were undecided about. Very friendly chef.

20/08/2025: I was on my way to the thermal pools nearby terme di agnano. And I did not plan stopping by. But I smelled the pizza and come on, figured why not. SOOOOOO glad I did. The Pizzaiolo knows what he's doing. Flavors, right balance, he has it all mastered. Ask him for recommendations he's gone on competitions in Madrid and Las Vegas. SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS YOU WONT REGRET IT! I think its mostly to go orders so clearly the locals know its great. So plan not be dining in.

15/10/2025: Quiet location with a timeless atmosphere on a promontory just off the main road with a splendid view. Summer space. Excellent tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms.
