Entering the Bar Cantone, you immediately notice the billiard tables.. Soft lights and even a Serie A championship in progress. But there is no time to stop, just at the back the room of a quiet trattoria welcomes you.
If the large blackboard on which the menu is written leaves you in any doubt, don't worry, ask the two girls in the dining room for advice who explain the dishes so well that you can already taste them. Unmissable fried gnocco with delicious locally produced cold cuts, delicious macaroni al comb with rib ragù, tasty green ravioli with balsamic vinegar... the good kind....
The rest of the delicacies and desserts will be for next time... We will definitely be back on our way back from the north to Rome

Old style bar-restaurant with billiard tables at the entrance. Checkered tablecloths and good service with the menu written on the blackboard that goes around the tables. Lunch was with a starter from the Cantone with salami, dried cracklings, coppa, parmesan giardiniera and grass, followed by macaroni al comb with ribs and finally trifle, all good. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Ci siamo fermati andando in montagna, vicino all'uscita di Carpi sull"A22. Locale molto semplice, un bar con una sorta di veranda sul retro che funge da ristorante. Una decina di tavoli, un paio di cameriere per il servizio. Tutto molto buono ma in particolare gli antipasti. Tagliatelle un po' scotte, secondi abbondanti e saporiti. Molto buoni anche i dolci. Conto veramente basso.

Affettati e gnocco fritto come antipasto,frittura del gnocco buona e svariata scelta di salumi.Spiedini di pollo gratinati con patate al forno e verdure veramente gradevoli. Dolci degni di nota.
