Finally, I sit down at the table and eat...
There's always a warm atmosphere, soft music...
A must-try if you're in the mountains.
08/01/2026: Great! We went, I think, on Saturday, October 11th. There were five of us, no reservations, and there was only outdoor seating. We were about to leave because some of us were cold, but the owners found a way to accommodate us. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The place is small and quaint, and it's very warm inside. The waitress was kind and super friendly.

12/01/2026: A truly lovely place, a well-kept location....the food is excellent, as is the service...we had a wonderful time.
There were 12 of us celebrating a 90th birthday. They put us in the room with the fireplace...we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: The restaurant is easy to find, well-maintained, and very elegant. The staff is truly helpful and professional, and the food is equally delicious and unique. We tried two seafood starters, both delicious and beautiful. We'll definitely be back for the main courses!
04/02/2026: While the service and welcome were perfect, what can be said about the food? A poorly cut steak tartare full of sinew, capeletti with parmesan cream that was heavy and lacking in finesse! Scallops served on a frozen plate!! So they were cold. A bottarga pasta so salty it was inedible, 120g of very tough chuck steak with a teaspoon of very dry demi-glace. For 180 euros (excluding VAT). I doubt the person in the kitchen is a professional. A real disgrace. I've been coming to Modena 3 or 4 times a year for the past 10 years and I've discovered the worst restaurant in town 💪

23/02/2026: Experience Mexico directly at Picoteo! Silvia and her staff are professional and very kind. The wonderful cuisine and cocktails complement these dishes, allowing you to experience the colors and flavors of this little restaurant. We're looking forward to the opening in Modena. ✌️✌️

The pizza is truly exceptional: fragrant, well-leavened, and super digestible. The croissants are among the best I've ever tasted—soft, fragrant, and always fresh. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the great passion for their work. A place to return to time and time again, absolutely recommended!

He was so kind and so knowledgeable of items on the menu. I am so glad we met him! We will definitely be back for the food and to see Giorgio!

01/11/2025: We went to Romanzo and absolutely loved everything! The restaurant is elegant yet welcoming, with young, friendly staff and attentive service. The dishes are beautifully presented and full of flavor—the fried zucchini flowers, polenta sticks, and macaroni al pettine are all excellent. The grilled meats are excellent, and the desserts are fantastic (the tiramisu is highly recommended). You can taste the passion in the kitchen, and the atmosphere is relaxed. One of the best restaurants we've tried in Carpi!

15/11/2025: This boutique hotel is home to perhaps Italy's most famous restaurant. Enjoy the same menu in a more intimate setting. The casual atmosphere of a relative's country mansion is complemented by American-style modern art, but it somehow fits perfectly. The balsamic vinegar distillery next door is also a must-see for art lovers, and you can't leave without trying their 25-year-old balsamic vinegar.

24/08/2025: Amazing pizza. Tried 3 different pies and a saltimbocca I think it's called and every single one was so delicious, so well balanced, and just such an experience. The pizzaiolo here KNOWS what he's doing. He knows how to satisfy your salty, sweet, crunchy, soft, bitter, sour, umami, and creamy craving in 1 bite. Highly recommend it here. Pizza does not take long to make and cook, less than 10 minutes, and he was kind enough to give my husband and I a pie that was half 1 pizza and half another that we were undecided about. Very friendly chef.
