31/05/2025: Nice place to spend a quiet evening with friends. The sandwiches are very rich and tasty, the beers are not lacking (there is really something for everyone) and the atmosphere is super easy. They also have darts and billiards, so you can have fun too. The staff is friendly and easy-going. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop

23/05/2025: Most dishes we ordered were very basic, lacking salt and taste. Not what you expect from a seafood restaurant in Modena. The wine was ok though.

09/03/2025: I had been to this place several times, there was a very kind and polite boy, you could see that he knew how to deal with customers and had an eye for everything, alas, I went back last week I wanted to cry, there is this gentleman in his 70s who goes back and forth, he doesn't take you into account in the slightest, without considering that I saw two customers treated badly as they tried to order by telling them "I'll take care of it, don't bother me", really unprofessional, it's not a place for which I would spend €50 for 2, to be placed next to each other to the fridge.

29/05/2025: Do you want to eat real and fast? Spending just the right amount that you can't find anymore? I'll just tell you that this is a battle place, with generous portions and no frills. But you eat well and in a friendly atmosphere.

27/05/2025: I stopped for lunch with my wife. I already knew the place because I stopped there other times with my friends. It's a restaurant that I recommend blindly. If you're like me who cares about the substance and not the location, that is, good, simple and good food. To a fast and efficient service to a bill that is far less than what you ate. Then again, if truck drivers stop there's not much to say. If I'm in the area I'll definitely come and eat here. Well done everyone.

27/04/2025: Very kind and cheerful guys. Prices normal. Everything was delicious, from the pizza to the kebab sandwich and even the grilled lamb mince. Everything perfect and clean. Hot and crispy chips. Very good hot dog. Generous seasonings for various dishes.

04/02/2025: When you find lahmacun in Italy with a taste that you can hardly find even in Turkey, you are naturally surprised and overjoyed :) I'm glad you discovered it. Taste, service, friendliness, cleanliness, everything is top 10. We are looking forward to the venue opening in Modena!!

29/05/2025: New management and great experience!!! Young guys but with a craft and desire to do!!! Not the usual 3 pre-war sandwiches but a wide range of products, even refined ones! Congratulations!!! Recommended!!!

31/03/2025: Aperitif outside the usual patterns. Meatballs made the same day with sauce, hot, soft, irresistible! Freshly cooked tigelle. Extraordinary vintage wine not so easily available (thank you for satisfying our request). For me it's home!

26/05/2025: Mittagessen in einem gepflegten Ambiente. Hatte als Hauptspeise Kalb mit Steinpilzen und grünem Spargel (18 €), was sehr gut war. Dazu gegrilltes Gemüse (5 €), das leider den Grill etwas zu lange gesehen hatte (teilweise schwarz). Dazu hatte ich einen guten Trebbiano (0,25 l) für 6 €.

15/05/2025: We sat outside on the street in one of the Covid era boxes which was perfect because it was drizzling. The duck was phenomenal and the others at the table loved their food as well. Reason I’m leaving a review though was when we got the bill I looked at the price and the bottom few items were ours but thought it seemed high. Signed it and left my tip then sent the receipt to my phone. When I got home I realized the bill was in fact $100 off and had some of another tables order. I figured “sucks but my fault” but a few days later I see the bill got adjusted to the correct price. They didn’t need to do this and I didn’t even call because I didn’t know how it would get fixed later since the restaurant was so busy but they did. Love the honesty and service. Will definitely be back because Ambrosia has good people (the good food is also a plus)
