01/09/2025: The pizza might be good, but the fact that it's charred is potentially carcinogenic according to the WHO. Plus, the staff has a "friendly" attitude that we found out of place. You shouldn't take this as a disapproval of your restaurant, but rather as a help to customers and, if anything, food for thought for the management.

30/08/2025: Restaurant located on the square, in the pedestrian zone. The menu is varied. We had tagliatelle al ragu and tortellini vecchio Modena, all delicious!

29/08/2025: Aperitif with my wife. Good cocktails, but terrible service and atmosphere. While you're drinking your own drink, they move tables and chairs around like you're not there. No way.

10/08/2025: We went for lunch on a Sunday in August. The restaurant's location was beautiful, overlooking the valley. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered an appetizer of anchovies with buratta cheese, excellent! Then we had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which were amazing and very generous portions! A taste, but for those who wanted to try it, we had gnocco fritto with prosciutto, delicious and well-cooked, not greasy! And to finish, a dessert, all delicious, my Nutella cheesecake was fabulous! All washed down with an excellent Sangiovese Romagnolo... What can I say? I highly recommend it! A+++++

17/08/2025: We wanted to visit the Castello di Montegibbio, but discovered that it was closed at the time of our visit due to Ferragosto. This was a bit disappointing, as we were looking forward to seeing the interior and taking guided tours. 📍 Location & Surroundings ✅ The castle is idyllically situated on a hill, surrounded by green forests and vineyards, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. ✅ Easily accessible by car, although the last few kilometers are a narrow country road. ✅ Parking is available, but sometimes limited when visitors are busy. 🏰 Buildings & Architecture ✅ From the outside, the castle appears impressively well-preserved, with historic walls and towers. ⚠️ Unfortunately, we couldn't visit anything inside because the castle was closed. ✅ The view and the outdoor area of the castle are still perfect for taking photos and strolling. 👥 Service & Information ✅ The staff on site were friendly and were able to provide information about opening hours. ⚠️ No access to tours or interior areas at the time of our visit. 🍽 Dining & Offers ⚠️ Due to the closure, no dining options were available. Conclusion: The Castello di Montegibbio is impressive both scenically and architecturally. However, our visit unfortunately fell on Ferragosto, so we were unable to experience the interior areas. Therefore, only 4 stars, otherwise it would have been a full score.

13/08/2025: Castle with a park and a church within the walls. On some summer days, they organize evenings in the inner courtyard, with a small pub and refreshment area.

05/07/2025: Remarkable appetizers, above all the beef lollipops and the cold cuts platter, less intriguing the fried ones. Incredible first courses; absolutely try the garganelli with rib sauce. Finally exceptional meats, truly a beautiful experience.

28/07/2025: We were told this was the best Lasagne in town. We were served a burnt one. Might have been their signature touch but all in all it doesn’t deserve ‘the best’ title. I don’t cook, but figure I can make a better one myself. The other food we had was good.

28/07/2025: Great place. Maybe one of the most genuine restaurants in town. Service was great and the food was outstanding. The tiramisu was the best we'v ever tasted. Book in advance and expect to spend at least two hours here. Arrive hungry.

10/08/2025: A fantastic experience in this little shop where you can try delicious crescentine (tigelle). Welcoming atmosphere, quality products (I recommend the onion compote and the famous pesto), but the best thing is the service; you feel pampered, just like at home. These are the places I love for a wonderful evening or lunch with friends! I'm always available for any advice on flavor combinations, cured meats, etc. I'll definitely return when the weather is cooler to try the polenta 😋😋.

10/08/2025: The girls were really kind and helpful, and the quality of the food was top-notch. The tigelle and piadina were excellent, with several customization options. It was truly a pleasure to have lunch "In Bottega" with our whole family, including our two girls! If we ever come back to Vignola, we'll definitely eat there again! We also recommend it for a quick lunch before visiting the Rocca, which we highly recommend (with a guide, though!)
