04/10/2025: By day, it's a well-kept fishmonger's shop, where the counter displays only the catch of the day, selected with evident attention to quality. In the evening, the place transforms into a welcoming bistro, with warm lighting and attentive service. The menu changes frequently, depending on the availability of the catch: carefully prepared dishes, excellent raw seafood, incredibly fresh. The Felicetti pasta is TOP. The bread and olive oil are addictive. Paolo and the staff are attentive and very professional. Congratulations!

27/09/2025: Finally, an excellent seafood restaurant in Modena. There were four of us, and we each had an appetizer and a first course. Each dish was different, and we all said they were delicious. The dishes were plated with style. The service was very professional (they offered us two types of olive oil because one was good for mopping up the fish but too strong for seasoning the fish). Good selection of wines. €50 per person seems like a fair price. I'll be back.

06/09/2025: A wonderful experience in this little restaurant run by two very sweet gentlemen. We arrived well in advance, and the gentleman kept us company, sharing the history of the place and its surroundings. The food is genuine and authentic, all prepared by Mrs. Pina. I particularly enjoyed the lasagna and the desserts. We were also offered a Malvasia, and I even received a wonderfully fragrant rose!!! We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful day ❤️

02/10/2025: Nice service even though we didn't speak Italian, many of the dishes we ordered were good but the burger dish we have little understanding of? It was dry and tasteless with the few vegetables we got, how do you eat this dish? There was also no advice on how to eat the dish and it cost about 14 euros.

19/08/2025: I had a pizza, which was good. Overall, a positive experience. I stayed at the Modena Hotel; this pizzeria is located behind the hotel, very convenient if you don't want to go into the city.

05/10/2025: Here it is: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Perfect evening at Macine di Mirandola! Perfectly cooked meat, juicy and flavorful, with an aroma that captivates you even before you arrive at the table. Generous, quality side dishes, excellent wine (we had an Amarone), and impeccable service, thanks in part to the young man who managed our table and was able to advise us. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, ideal for both a dinner with friends (as was my case) and a special occasion. Oh, and a special shout-out to the waitresses: not only professional and smiling, but also very beautiful.

26/09/2025: An excellent experience during the Philosophy Festival weekend. We went on Sunday for lunch. The restaurant is located in a beautiful alley overlooking the Ghirlandina Tower. We had a portion of gnocco fritto with culaccia, two excellent tortellini with parmesan cream, and two glasses of excellent Pinot Noir recommended by the sommelier. The only downside, but one that didn't affect our overall rating, was the delivery time. We waited over half an hour; they probably hadn't calculated the flow of diners; the restaurant was packed inside and out. Despite all this, the food and service were excellent! We highly recommend it!

21/09/2025: We were very much looking forward to stopping for lunch in Modena on the way to bologna. We came a very long way, and Unfortunately, this was the only experience we had in this town. We ordered two pastas, very clearly stating which ones and it was confirmed by the waiter. We got a bottle of wine, and received the first pasta after 20 minutes. We then waited for over an hour and no one had checked on us. No bread, no one asking if we were okay or if we wanted something else… no update us on when to expect the ragu. We finally asked after an hour and 30 minutes for an update on the second pasta and found out it was never put in. We left still hungry and having no more time to explore the city. There were only 7 tables so I don’t think it was an issue of being too busy and it was not due to a misunderstanding or gap in translation. We did enjoy the first dish, which almost added to the frustration because we would have liked to try more. They tried to make it right by putting it in once we asked after an hour and 30 minutes of not being checked on once in a tiny restaurant, they still did not offer to make it complimentary. It’s a shame as this was our first and likely last experience in Modena.
