07/07/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We started with a truly excellent bruschetta appetizer, served with perfect bread: soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Next, we had barbecued ribs: delicious, tender, and perfectly cooked, the meat falling off the bone like butter. There were a few sore points, however, about the Rubia Gallega ribeye. Even though we'd asked for it well done, I expected much better flavor, having tried it several times before. As a butcher by profession, I'm aware that not all cuts are identical, but the raw slice we were shown didn't entirely convince me: the original Rubia should have more yellow fat, more abundance, and better marbling, while this one had decidedly less. For the price, I had higher expectations for the flavor. It would have been interesting to have the opportunity to try a tasting of various meats; perhaps that's an option to book separately; we'll find out. ​Otherwise, the evening went very well. Special mention goes to the warm welcome given to our dog, who was immediately brought a bowl of water. The service was excellent, and the location is stunning: even though it's in Sassuolo, the outdoor summer terrace is so elegant and well-designed that it feels like you're somewhere entirely different. ​Overall, it was a lovely experience that we'll repeat, although we'll reevaluate the choice of cuts of meat. Rating: 8 out of 10.
