Hello, we had lunch today.
Excellent, plentiful, a peaceful setting with a large garden and a view of the lake with beautiful geese. We were in the good graces of Ettore, who made sure we lacked nothing. He deserves praise for being a meticulous worker, with extensive experience in the sector, and very friendly.
Recommended, we'll definitely be back.

We went to Quercia di Rosa for dinner with friends, and even though it was a little late, they welcomed us and pampered us throughout the evening. The service was impeccable and the cuisine excellent, Modenese. We were all impressed by the inviting menu and the dishes we tasted. The food is homely, with homemade pasta beautifully presented. The menu and wine recommendations were excellent. We will definitely return, perhaps in the summer to enjoy the beautiful garden surrounding the restaurant.

I booked dinner at this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. I wanted to be sure of it. Typical local cuisine, friendly, family-style service. I enjoyed everything we ordered.

An upscale restaurant, with very good food, but certainly not cheap. The house wine, a Lambrusco di Sorbara, was a bit flat and lacking in quality.

Unfortunately, my opinion goes against everything I've read.
We had lunch at this restaurant and didn't like it, for several reasons, starting with the food, which we found to be subpar. We tried the polenta with porcini mushrooms, the fillet steak, and the goose egg. The mushrooms were the same in all the dishes, sautéed with parsley and lots and lots of oil. The meat wasn't good, and the egg was good, but with yet another set of mushrooms in the appetizer and the fillet steak.
Another disappointing aspect was the inattentive service, which even served us the wrong dish. They even made a mistake at the table next to ours.
As I always write, and given the many enthusiastic reviews, maybe we were having a bad day, and that can happen, but we won't be back. €140 for two without even having a bottle of wine is really too high for what we experienced.
Obviously, this is just our opinion based on our experience. It's certainly not a criticism intended to offend anyone.
