12/10/2025: Fantastic place. We had two sandwiches, one vegan, plus some fried appetizers, all very good. We also came here with two dogs, and they reserved two tables for us to make it more comfortable. The staff was kind and friendly.

16/09/2025: We arrived at the camper area on Sunday evening and had a delicious pizza at the pizzeria I tre briganti, which runs the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They immediately made you feel at ease. The camper area was very spacious. It's a wonderful place. We'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: We went for dinner. The location was beautiful and welcoming, as was the staff who welcomed us, who were friendly and professional. The food was excellent, with attention to the finest ingredients. The mezzelune (half-moons) stuffed with ricotta and porcini mushrooms, served with a porcini and leek sauce, were the best I've ever had! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

20/11/2025: Excellent little Emilian restaurant serving a bit of everything at moderate prices. The interior is rustic and simple. The chitarrone pasta with scampi and shrimp is delicious. This is my second time here. Prices are reasonable.

30/10/2025: Menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. First courses with homemade pasta dough, also suitable for celiacs. Garden platter with a wealth of seasonal vegetables, divinely cooked. Tigelle and Crescentine with cured meats and cheeses. I highly recommend it. A very welcoming place near the woods in the Sassi di Roccamalatina park, where trails for hiking or simply strolling begin. They also sell garden produce and homemade pasta. It's a stopping point on the Cammino dell'Unione (Walk of Union), and there's a credential stamp. Overnight stays are also available (with advance notice).

14/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo. I'm celiac and asked if they had anything gluten-free. He told me they had a platter with mini pizzas and pretzels... Perfect! He brought me a tray with a bagged mini pizza, 4 bagged pretzels, a bagged erbazzone, and a bagged sweet, all wrapped in thick plastic and without scissors to open them. I appreciate having gluten-free, but this is truly unpresentable. Everyone's looking at the table because the stuff is bagged. Then, to open it, I had to stick a fork in and roughly tear the packaging. Sorry, but never again.

03/09/2025: It's my FAVORITE restaurant, my favorite place, where time stands still and the rest of the world stays outside, a refined and sophisticated place. As soon as you walk in the door, you're enchanted by the display case and the assortment of cheeses and cured meats. The restaurant has been selected nationally to organize high-level events. Stefano is wonderful, kind, helpful, highly knowledgeable, the perfect host 🤩 It's a family-run business and you can taste it in the flavor of their dishes.

23/08/2025: The Simposio dei Sensi, a place that won me over. Refined, welcoming, with particular attention to the choice of raw materials. Upon entering, you're enchanted by the two refrigerated counters, one stocked with a carefully selected cheese selection and the other with a unique selection of cured meats. There's no menu; the waiter will tell you about it because it changes so often. WHAT I ATE: I chose the tortelli filled with Stilton, a French blue cheese, served on a bed of pumpkin cream with raspberry drops. A very balanced and delicious dish. Next, a shin of patanegra (a type of ham) on a bed of mashed potatoes—it was simply delicious. The manager, on his own initiative, brought us a small tasting of Roccaverano robiola and Grigentana goat cheese with lavender honey—a true delicacy. For dessert, a crème brulee—perfect. ● WHAT I DRINK: On the owner's recommendation, I drank a 2021 Pletter Lagrein from Cesconi, a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent choice. ● VENUE: The place is very welcoming with a very relaxing atmosphere. Not at all noisy. ● STAFF: The service was impeccable, the waiter very attentive and made us feel at ease. ● PRICE: The price of €95 per couple was reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the service. ● TIP: If you're looking for a place with high-quality traditional cuisine, where the ingredients are carefully selected, Simposio dei Sensi is an excellent choice. Try it! The place is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so book in advance.

12/11/2025: We recently had dinner at EXÉ Restaurant in Maranello, which is located inside the Executive Spa Hotel just a few minutes from the Ferrari Museum. It’s a stylish, modern space with sleek lines, soft lighting, and an atmosphere that clearly reflects the local Ferrari prestige — elegant, polished, and designed for a high-end dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt refined yet calm, with enough space between tables to feel comfortable and private, even with a stroller next to us. The service was excellent. We were welcomed by a Spanish waiter who spoke perfect Italian and was both kind and professional throughout the evening. He immediately noticed that we were dining with a baby and helped us rearrange the seating to make space for the stroller, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Throughout the meal he checked discreetly that everything was fine, making sure we felt relaxed. It’s rare to find such a genuine and attentive attitude in fine-dining restaurants, and it made a big difference. We started with pasta, which was good — well-cooked, nicely seasoned, and attractively presented. However, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. For the main course, we ordered the Bistecca Fiorentina, which we had really been looking forward to. Unfortunately, this was the low point of the evening. The portion was generous, but the flavor just didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the price of over €100. We’ve had better, more flavorful versions in simpler trattorias in the region. The wine was very good — smooth, elegant, and clearly well-selected — but with a substantial markup that reminded us of the luxury positioning of the restaurant. Dining here with a baby was perfectly manageable. The space is airy and quiet enough that we never felt in the way, and the staff handled the situation with complete naturalness — no awkward looks, no rush, just calm professionalism. For parents traveling through the area, that sense of ease is priceless. Overall, we’d give EXÉ Restaurant four stars. It’s one of the most luxurious dining options in the Maranello area, and the service truly stands out. However, you do need to be prepared to pay what I’d call the “Ferrari premium” — you’re paying as much for the setting and reputation as for the food itself. Worth visiting for the experience, especially if you value great service and elegant surroundings, but the dishes don’t quite justify the high prices. Would we return? Possibly, for a special occasion — the atmosphere and staff make it a pleasant choice, even with a baby — but next time we’d skip the Fiorentina and explore other options on the menu.

24/10/2025: A welcoming and informal restaurant, historic and very traditional. It offers a rich menu, especially among the first courses (excellent, with homemade pasta made just like in the old days, and generously seasoned!) and the main courses, mostly meat-based. The flans, desserts, and bread basket are delicious. In season, truffle-based dishes are also available.
