03/09/2025: It's my FAVORITE restaurant, my favorite place, where time stands still and the rest of the world stays outside, a refined and sophisticated place. As soon as you walk in the door, you're enchanted by the display case and the assortment of cheeses and cured meats. The restaurant has been selected nationally to organize high-level events. Stefano is wonderful, kind, helpful, highly knowledgeable, the perfect host 🤩 It's a family-run business and you can taste it in the flavor of their dishes.

23/08/2025: The Simposio dei Sensi, a place that won me over. Refined, welcoming, with particular attention to the choice of raw materials. Upon entering, you're enchanted by the two refrigerated counters, one stocked with a carefully selected cheese selection and the other with a unique selection of cured meats. There's no menu; the waiter will tell you about it because it changes so often. WHAT I ATE: I chose the tortelli filled with Stilton, a French blue cheese, served on a bed of pumpkin cream with raspberry drops. A very balanced and delicious dish. Next, a shin of patanegra (a type of ham) on a bed of mashed potatoes—it was simply delicious. The manager, on his own initiative, brought us a small tasting of Roccaverano robiola and Grigentana goat cheese with lavender honey—a true delicacy. For dessert, a crème brulee—perfect. ● WHAT I DRINK: On the owner's recommendation, I drank a 2021 Pletter Lagrein from Cesconi, a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent choice. ● VENUE: The place is very welcoming with a very relaxing atmosphere. Not at all noisy. ● STAFF: The service was impeccable, the waiter very attentive and made us feel at ease. ● PRICE: The price of €95 per couple was reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the service. ● TIP: If you're looking for a place with high-quality traditional cuisine, where the ingredients are carefully selected, Simposio dei Sensi is an excellent choice. Try it! The place is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so book in advance.

09/04/2026: I returned to this trattoria in Carpi on a Friday evening. Gnocco fritto and tigelle with cured meats and cheeses to share, all very good. The first courses were excellent: two tortelli with old Modena pumpkin and macaroni with sausage, truly out of this world! Excellent and fast service. Recommended!

07/04/2026: Characterful restaurant in Carpi. Traditional cuisine in a quaint setting. Dinner with friends began with pork cracklings and a second course of pasta dishes, remarkable for the quality of the pasta and the sauces. The tortellini were excellent, but the gramigna was something special. It continued with delicious baskets of tigelle and fried gnocco filled with cured meats, lard, and cheeses! It ended on a high note with Nutella! The bitters that came to the table after the coffee were appreciated! Well done!

07/03/2026: Everything was good and the service was precise and fast.

20/02/2026: It's been a long time since I've had such terrible service. The waiters take food away and add it without warning. During the wine tasting, the owner spilled it on the table because she was paying attention to another table. Finding frozen side dishes on the menu is absurd given the setting and prices. The grilled vegetables were served in ridiculous quantities without any condiments. The meat was served in the same way, without even bringing a proper knife. ANOTHER BAD MARK FOR A PLACE THAT, FROM THE REVIEWS, SEEMED TO BE QUITE A DIFFERENT PLACE.

06/04/2026: It's a shame about the wait, we sat down at 1.10pm, it's now 2.10pm and they only brought us drinks.

02/03/2026: I went for lunch yesterday, during a visit to the Ferrari museum. Everything was perfect. Excellent staff. Very detailed explanations, as I'm gluten-intolerant. The owner and the waitress offered me a limoncello on the house. I declined because I have to drive and don't drink alcohol. However, I thank them for their courtesy and helpfulness. If I have the opportunity to be in the Maranello area, we'll definitely see each other again. Keep up the good work. Best regards.

05/03/2026: Quality on par with AYCE, but slightly higher prices. Fast service (you can pick up a plate from the cart or order) and a quiet atmosphere.

09/03/2026: A historic restaurant in the Modena Apennines, where you can breathe in the air of times gone by. The place isn't huge, but it's filled with interesting artifacts from the past. Excellent service. Fantastic and plentiful food. Convenient parking. The first courses are highly recommended, as are the gnocco and tigelle.

08/02/2026: The best Italian restaurant I frequented in 2002-2003, where I truly tasted the best Italian pasta dishes and the soufflé cooked in olive oil accompanied by prosciutto di Parma, something I've never tasted anywhere else, even while traveling in other countries. I would go back.

23/09/2025: Martina and I celebrated our wedding at this venue on September 21st. What was a unique day for us, for Gilberto, Davide, and their staff, is a tried-and-tested system, where every detail has been perfected with experience. The food was refined and plentiful. The venue was clean and tidy both before and during the event. Nothing deviated from what was agreed upon.

12/04/2026: Guys, I had seen the restaurant in 4 restaurants and it intrigued me, then I tried it myself... Very good

10/04/2026: We went to this restaurant with friends because we'd seen the episode of Four Restaurants, where it had won. But when we arrived, something went wrong: our reservation couldn't be found, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to be prepared. Once the table was ready, to our surprise, we were seated not in the main dining room, but in a very hot room that acts as a passageway between the adjacent tree and the restaurant. The waiters were excellent, but the dishes didn't meet expectations and weren't up to the price listed on the menu. I'd particularly like to point out the passatelli. In my opinion, they were made with a lot of breadcrumbs and not enough Parmigiano Reggiano. Not to mention the excessive length of each passatelli, at least 15 cm. This is quite unusual for a region known for this type of dish. The crescentine served with the appetizer were also not of the highest quality and could be improved by using less processed, better-quality flours. What we paid seemed excessive given the quality of the ingredients.

15/04/2026: My boyfriend had recommended this place to me a year ago, so we went as a family. A beautiful and warm experience, definitely worth repeating! The room was spacious, even with a bunk bed for the kids, plenty of closet space to store your clothes, and a small but truly lovely bathroom with all the amenities. But let's get to the highlight: the spa! You have to book it! Trust me, it's totally worth it! There's a room exclusively for a hot tub and a sauna. We guarantee you'll come back feeling fresh and rejuvenated, and the kids will have a blast! The restaurant is truly lovely, and the waiters are always attentive to your needs, allergies, or intolerances. The dinner and lunch menus are so generous that you'll go home with a full belly. Everything is homemade, not to mention their traditional desserts, which you'll love! Thank you so much for everything! 🤩

13/03/2026: Terrible service and mediocre food quality. The first course arrived at 2:40 PM and the second course at 3:50 PM. It's a shame, expectations were sky-high.

06/03/2026: I've been going to this pizzeria with a group for years. The pizza is good, the first courses are good too, but I've noticed that lately the pizzas are definitely smaller and the portions of the first courses are too.... Too bad.
