16/06/2025: A guarantee! Dishes prepared with quality and quantity, delicious appetizers and the meat of all cuts and types always excellent! Excellent wine list, especially for the Lambrusco and at more than honest prices! Mrs. Rossella always very nice!

21/06/2025: For a wedding lunch. Food, service and environment are all ok. For the rest, the newlyweds who contacted the restaurant were asked to pay for everything in advance and here I would already have something to say, but they are young and in a particular period and accepted so that's it. After that they were presented with an extra for 30 bottles of wine at €20 each, even 20 would have been a lot. They took advantage of it a TOTAL. In order not to find anything to say and to end everything in the best way, the guys PAID and THAT'S IT. THEY DIDN'T MAKE A GREAT FIGURE, what you deserve is ok beyond.......... We also work with word of mouth but in this case BYE. Even for a wedding, money doesn't rain from the sky. Anyway, good work to Calcagnino.

19/06/2025: On the occasion of my niece's wedding I discovered this restaurant. Excellent service, the waiters are kind and available to satisfy your requests immediately. We had dinner in the meadow and I must say that the location is truly remarkable with the Formigine castle as a backdrop and the food is the first course, such as gnocchi and tortelloni excellent, measured portion and accurate presentation of the food. The second course was an excellent Guanciale very tasty and soft cooked to perfection it melted in the mouth and also the potatoes excellent. Since a storm came suddenly, they managed to move everything under the porch in a nano second to be able to watch the cutting of the cake. I recommend this place, as for the prices I can't tell you because as I said it was a wedding,

22/06/2025: I had lunch there for work, every time it always left me with a good memory. I think it's the only place where I would also try what I normally consider not to be my thing; delicious dishes, well-prepared, in short, a treat for the palate. Small but welcoming place, one of my favorite places, I can't deny it. Obviously highly recommended! 🥰

18/05/2025: Excellent dishes, very kind and helpful staff. I have been to this restaurant several times and every time I have left very satisfied, I am a vegetarian and since the kitchen is express I was able to ask for small variations without any problem. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes traditional cuisine but with a modern twist, really everything is excellent.

29/06/2025: we did the modern tasting menu and it was a fantastic experience (at a reasonable price at that). We loved the food, atmosphere, and service. The two “primi piati” we has rank at the top of the ones we have ever tasted (the burger had some ver surprising notes too). Overall 10/10; definitely want to come back

18/06/2025: One of the worst services I have seen in a while. We got the small tasting menu with wine pairing which took 2.5 hours to complete. It took 5 mins to eat a dish - the rest was the waiting time in between, making us lose our motivation and appetite. The synchronisation was also off with wine coming way before or after the meal itself. The food was good but didn’t make a strong impression. We were on the high rise chairs and even there were tables available, they didn’t offer them, making us wait uncomfortably for food for hours. The waiters rattled about the dishes with rush, sometimes in italian and other times in English without caring about which language we speak, and ran away the moment they spit out the last word. Extremely disappointing for a €200 dinner. We won’t be coming again.

23/06/2025: I had a great time.. Clean rooms.. Very friendly staff.. Everything you expect from a hotel.. Abundant and fresh breakfast.. In short, I can only recommend it... Maybe the price was slightly higher than normal because of the Ligabue concert.. But that's okay, of course.

04/05/2025: Cosa dire,...non ci sono parole per esprimere la nostra gioia ed enorme soddisfazione ! ..prenotato da tempo per festeggiare il mio compleanno e quello di mia moglie che per motivi vari non abbiamo potuto festeggiare a tempo e debito; pomeriggio prima della cena tanto desiderata io non mi sento bene, ma per nessun motivo voglio rinunciare alla serata! E bene che ho fatto! Prima sorpresa: ristorante aperto solo per noi.. e questo la dice lunga sul senso dell'ospitalità; Seconda sorpesa: riferendo che non ero in grande forma e scusandomi quindi che non avrei potuto godere fino in fondo delle loro prelibatezze, si fanno in quattro a prepararmi a parte portate adatte alla mia situazione...terza sorpresa: si sono ricordati che al momento della prenotazione avevo parlato di compleanno e ci fanno trovare una torta (la loro inimitabile millefoglie) con una candelina per me e una per mia moglie! quarta sorpresa: hanno aperto una bottiglia di bollicine e hanno brindato con noi! Che dire, dopo una esperienza così in altri locali, per quanto eccellenti, non potrò provare le stesse emozioni, perchè atmosfera, disponibiltà, accoglienza a questi livelli sono un dono ed un'arte. Grazie!

13/04/2025: A place with attention to every detail, with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Fixed menu with top marks, each dish is an explosion of flavors and authenticity. A real gem that I absolutely recommend!

19/07/2025: The restaurant is well-located on the street, and the interior is well-maintained. The bathroom, like the dining room, could use a facelift. It's a shame about the parking lot and the exterior isn't exactly well-maintained; it gives the impression of disuse. The food is excellent, but the wait is a bit long, especially when you really want to enjoy the moment.

The staff is kind, attentive, and very professional, making us feel right at home. The food is exceptional: traditional Emilian dishes prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The selection of local wines is excellent and perfectly complements the experience. I highly recommend Osteria Di Sorbara to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic flavors in a refined and welcoming environment. We'll definitely be back!

24/06/2025: I have to say that the pictures you find on Google put me off eating there for the first two of our seven days in Maranello, but when I finally thought I'd give it a try, I was really annoyed that I hadn't been there sooner. The staff are extremely nice and super friendly, even if you don't speak much Italian as a tourist and the owners don't speak any English either. They somehow get to the point with gestures and instructions, the food was on the table really quickly, it was delicious and the value for money really is unbeatable. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.
