A small, simple trattoria with excellent food. The menu features traditional Modenese dishes that are of a high standard, but for dessert, you absolutely must try the cannoli or cassata, which are sourced directly from Sicily (the owners' home region). We had a wonderful time here for a quiet family lunch.

Jonathan treated us like we were guests in his home and provided some excellent regional suggestions for dinner. Marco, our concierge at Hotel Castello, recommended his favorite restaurant away from the inner old town and it was perfect.👌

We discovered this place by chance and were so impressed that we returned a few weeks later. Among the first courses, we recommend the tortelloni with ricotta and spinach from Modena; they were delicious, to say the least. We also had the delicious tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. For the second course, we decided to try Sicilian delicacies, so we went with the Palermitan-style involtini, which were amazing. And to finish, we wanted to try the cannoli, and we had a Palermitan as our judge, but this one also got a 10: ricotta from the Madonie mountains and a Piana degli Albanesi wafer. This place will be a regular stop from now on. Highly recommended.
