07/05/2026: It’s a hidden gem of a place. Amazing restaurant with fresh food prepared right in front of you. Great selection of meats, pastas, salads and deserts. Delicious coffee too. Super friendly staff. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners lovely people. I could eat there everyday.

02/07/2026: Lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, just a short walk from la piazza maggiore. The staff is very friendly, especially Zoe. The food was great. It’s fresh and delicious. I had the bolagnese lasagna which I highly recommend. High quality and authentic.

07/08/2026: The food was amazing especially their desert that looked like giants Ferrero Rocher. And on top of that we got two digestivos. The stuff also very kind and attentive. The only concern was flies that were trying to get into our parmezan cheese.

10/07/2026: This restaurant has become one of my favorite places to eat in the city. The staff always greet customers warmly and provide fast, professional service. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The comfortable atmosphere makes it an excellent place for both family dinners and special occasions. I always enjoy my visits and look forward to coming back again.

06/04/2026: I was there recently for lunch, and I have to say I can't wait to go back. The first courses were excellent, made with top-notch ingredients, which was reflected in the kind of flavor that, unfortunately, is increasingly rare to find. The preparation was also practically perfect. The highlight of the meal, however, were the crescentine with cured meats. Especially the cured meats and cheeses. There's a shop next door that sells gourmet products, including top-quality cured meats and cheeses, sourced from top-quality local producers (it's a passion of the owner). And you can taste the difference compared to the typical crescentine place that serves cured meats that all taste the same (or almost). This quality of the ingredients, among other things, makes the quality/price ratio truly excellent. The wine selection also seems interesting, although not extensive. The place is an osteria, so not an elegant or sophisticated restaurant, but the atmosphere is in keeping with the type of place: clean and well-presented, with well-placed tables and, despite the small space, not too crowded (a tad too crowded for my taste, but still acceptable, considering there were only two of us, so another table for two next door was almost inevitable). Even though it was crowded and there was a large table, it wasn't too noisy, especially since the food is so good that by the time it arrives, you're busy eating. As I said, I can't wait to go back, and this time I'll just order the crescentine and cured meats. Not because the first courses aren't worth it, but because I want to enjoy the cured meats better.

27/02/2026: Carefully selected ingredients, expertly crafted cured meats, and a genuine, bygone atmosphere. Definitely try the gnocchi with mutton ragù, a rare dish. Follow the host's instructions. A round of applause!

20/07/2026: A local institution, well worth the short trip from Bologna. The friendliest of staff welcomes you to a tavern where pretty much everything has been kept and preserved from the passing of time, including the recipes of the kitchen. Making the most of what local producers can offer, from vegetables to meat, all the way to the grapes for the wine. My wife and I enjoyed a quick meal on the way to the seaside. The waitress helped us create a small tasting menu by halving portions of some starters. Even then, we left the restaurant rolling! All we had was delicious, with a special mention for the tagliatelle with ragù, pure heaven. Given what we ate, both in quantity and quality, a full meal for 50€ is really fair and adequate. Looking forward to another visit!

18/07/2026: A very pleasant lunch. The friggione with tigelle was excellent, and the nettle tagliatelle with ragù were very good. The selection of French wines and craft beers was also appreciated, which is not always the case for a traditional osteria. The customer service was also excellent: after sending an email to reserve, I received a quick call back to confirm my table. The kitchen atmosphere was also lovely, with a multi-ethnic team working with professionalism and camaraderie. The only drawback: the space is really small. The tables are so close together that it's easy to share the company of other diners... and you'll go home with the lingering smell of ragù on your clothes. Luckily, the ragù was good! Overall, an authentic osteria, with excellent food and a lot of personality.

09/10/2025: Truly delicious sandwiches. Initially, we came solely for the porchetta (which remains the mainstay), but they've increased the variety, maintaining high quality. The staff is very friendly and courteous. It's becoming a pleasant Saturday lunchtime habit.

06/10/2025: Wonderful place. Staff is super friendly and authentic. Food is extraordinary best panino I've eaten in bologna. Packed with locals and atmosphere. Later the whole plaza is full with young people, music ect.

16/06/2026: We had made a reservation to eat pizza at a table on the veranda, on the very evening that the Corso dei Fiori event with its allegorical floats was taking place in San Giorgio di Piano, so the place was quite crowded. Probably because there were so many people, the table was missing cutlery and they had run out of clean ones, so the pizzas arrived and we couldn't eat them right away, so they got a bit cold. They were good, though!
