15/12/2025: We stopped here by chance after visiting the mausoleum of Theodoric across the street. We had a pizza, a glass of wine, bottle of water, and two coffees, for €20. The pizza was simple but delicious. The atmosphere is 100% authentic, very classic Italian. Not a fancy place but exactly what we needed. We'd go back there in a heartbeat.

29/11/2025: I'm giving it 3 stars because the food was really good, but the downside is the service. On a Saturday lunch, the waiters forgot to bring various dishes, and I had to get up several times to ask for an explanation. Initially, they rudely told us we'd made the wrong order. After double-checking, we pointed out that the order was correct, and they replied that this situation is common when there are too many people. Perhaps I'd revise the ordering process and the service, because unfortunately, they don't live up to the food and the location.

29/09/2025: You can tell this restaurant is his life's work. The service was very attentive and courteous. We had handmade pasta, which was delicious. It was served with bread, Parmesan cheese, and various oils.

11/10/2025: Dinner is served in a room in the innkeeper's residence or in the small outdoor gazebo adjacent to the wine cellar. The true and immeasurable strength is the quality of the dishes. Very limited selection, based on the season, only traditional dishes cooked as they once were. Appetizers include cold cuts and gnocco fritto (fried gnocchi), friggione (fried bread), tortelli and tagliatelle with ragù, suckling pig cooked in wine, fried rabbit...
Everything is very rustic, everything is authentic, something you rarely find.

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!
19/07/2025: Cena in coppia in questo ristorante. è stata una piacevole esperienza Cibo eccellente, preparato con materie prime di ottima qualità che esaltano ogni piatto. Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo

15/10/2025: I'm a foreigner, and since I've been here, I've been to ten shops, two have been good, and this is one. The owner is so kind, and so are the girls who work there, always helpful and so kind. It didn't even feel like I was up north. It's not "everyone," but the majority, I don't know, because they're cold, they treat you badly, they talk back, I don't understand why, but when you're treated well, with respect, with attention, things change, even your day changes, and it's also good for the shop, because word gets around. I can't complain about this place. Kudos to everyone, the world needs people like you. Then there's the fact that the food is good and it's not a fortune.

06/07/2025: Second time, all good. I like the track and the formula with qualifying + two races is perfect. Too bad that not all karts are at the same level and if you touch the slow one you feel the difference a lot.

14/09/2025: Isolated but very quiet, with a beautiful view, excellent service, and excellent traditional, home-cooked food. A good selection of wines.
Convenient parking with wheelchair access.
Having 4 stars overall is a plus that deserves to be rewarded because it means maintaining excellent standards in several areas, so 5 stars are a more than logical consequence.

I think in the homeland of good Emilian food, everyone expects ragù made with meat and tomato...not so here.
Roast beef.
Long wait times.
Friendly staff.
