07/01/2025: Trattoria Croara offers an atmosphere that takes you back in time. That of the classic trattorias of times gone by, where authenticity reigns supreme and there are no unnecessary frills. An increasingly rare experience to find nowadays, and therefore even more appreciable. Even though we hadn't booked, the lady who welcomed us was very kind and helpful. However, he found a place for us in an almost full room. A gesture that made us feel welcome. However, the waiter did not show the same spirit. He seemed more annoyed with us than anything else, repeatedly ignoring us and taking orders from customers who clearly arrived after us. A real shame. Maybe next time it would be better not to judge the guests only by appearance. Moving on to the food, lunch started with a plate of cured meats and fried crescentine. The cured meats were very fresh and of excellent quality, with a raw ham that melted in your mouth, a fragrant mortadella and a salami rich in flavour. The crescentine were light, golden and well fried, without any trace of grease. A perfect combination to start with. As a first course, I opted for the green lasagna. They were cooked to perfection, with a flavorful ragu and a creamy béchamel sauce that didn't overpower the other flavors. My traveling companions, however, chose a trio of first courses, which turned out to be a very good choice. From tortelloni to ragù to seasonal stuffed pasta, each dish was well balanced and carefully prepared. So much so that choosing the best one was practically impossible. As for desserts, however, a somewhat mixed experience. The crème caramel was rather anonymous. While the almond pudding was a real discovery. Creamy, delicate and with an intense flavor that made it unforgettable. Overall, the food was great. The portions were generous and the value for money was more than fair. It's a shame that the experience was partially ruined by the waiter's attitude. But the quality of the dishes and the atmosphere of times gone by still make Trattoria Croara a place worth returning to. Maybe with a little more luck on the serve.

16/12/2024: Nice clean and tidy place, very nice outdoor swimming pool adorned with 2 romantic bright hearts and beautiful toilet. Welcoming, polite and kind staff. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress me personally. Platter of cold cuts with hot crescentine very good, Strozzapreti pasticciati good but I would have preferred more al dente, wine normal, the margherita pizza unfortunately of a quality that I didn't like, the mozzarella was bitter, Risotto with nettles instead good.

26/10/2024: The pizza on the tongue is good, but at busy times they go into crisis too easily and you wait up to 1 hour to eat. Then if we're talking about takeaway, well, biblical times. Another aspect I noticed is that during the week the tongue pizza is larger while during the weekend they make it much smaller! Upon observing this detail, the owner was not very kind in responding to me. I find them not very polite. Update….. After this review they asked me not to show up again. I have to say that the owner is a real gentleman. Review valid for the old management where the old one was. The new one at the moment is good and kind.

30/12/2024: I was only there for a conference, but it seemed to me to be a rather welcoming and well-equipped hotel.

28/12/2024: Hotel 8 minutes by car from Ravenna. Welcoming and friendly and helpful staff. Tasty, varied and abundant breakfast, sweet and savory buffet with cafeteria served at the table. I stayed with my daughters in a themed room dedicated to Mirabilandia guests: the beds were comfortable, the room not very large, clean bed and bath linen, very welcome courtesy set. I recommend a good overhaul/maintenance and thorough cleaning! If you have dust allergies, change hotels. A real shame!

06/01/2025: I could also give a good review, but there are many buts... I usually buy chicken and croquettes, 8 times out of 10 browned on the outside and RAW INSIDE, the 2 times it's cooked it's delicious. Furthermore, sometimes there is a grumpy and quite rude girl at the counter. Sin!!

14/12/2024: Cibo tipico direi buonino. Peccato per la cameriera che dire poco professionale?. Dopo essere stato più di mezz'ora in attesa, sono andato a cercarla e mi ha detto arrivo. Praticamente non è venuta, allora ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via. Io penso che questo è il risultato che fare la cameriera non può essere un lavoro improvvisato. Peccato perché avremmo preso anche il dolce e il caffè. Mancato guadagno. Sicuramente non andrò mai più.
