The food consisted of a platter of cold cuts served with hot, crunchy piadina. Being in Romagna, the tortellini with meat sauce were a must...all good. The simple and welcoming environment was a little chaotic but it was a Saturday evening so it was normal. A separate thought for the staff, kind and friendly, fair price as well as a welcome discount given the double cover we asked for

18/11/2024: The best trattoria in Ferrara. Here I ate the best pumpkin cappellacci in Ferrara (sweet and savory as they should be). They still make "timballo" (baked pasta filled with cappelletti) which you can't find anywhere now. Salamis sauce with mashed potatoes just as it should be. We are all waiting and "hoping" that it reopens unfortunately without the presence of Arnaldo, a true "Oste" like you can no longer find. The other restaurants with the excuse of "gourmet" offer you the usual traditional dishes with sometimes ridiculously small portions. The authenticity and simplicity of the true cuisine that we were still lucky enough to find here has been lost.

05/12/2024: Pizza with friends. Large and well laid out room. The staff were kind, welcoming and friendly. Very good and well seasoned "spianata" pizza. We also eat in both land and sea restaurants, given the dishes that arrived at the other tables, they seemed good and plentiful. I will be back to try. Recommended +++

02/01/2025: Caruso is a guarantee: delicious pizza, with very high quality gluten-free dough and never a contamination problem. For us celiacs it is a true paradise, as well as a pleasure for the palate. Excellent service and great customer care. Super recommended!!! :)

I would never have said about a dinner in a restaurant, which I enjoyed very much. The pizza is special. Owner and staff more. It's a shame not to have venues so close to home.
