12/10/2025: Signora Claudia served alone and didn't leave anyone waiting unnecessarily; she was quick, friendly, and attentive. Delicious traditional food. The appetizer is a must-try! The main course, our meat, was tender and everything was flavorful and well-seasoned. Thanks to the chef. We didn't have pizza, but they looked delicious at other tables. We had reserved a table.

22/09/2025: Sunday lunchtime, we got a table right away without a reservation. The fried fish and blecs with eel, two desserts, wine, and water were truly delicious! The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. Excellent, I'll definitely be back!

01/10/2025: We were passing through, in a hurry as always, and with one mission: to find a good coffee and something sweet that wouldn't disappoint. Then... the surprise. A delicious brioche, pizzas so tasty they made us forget all about our rush, and a well-kept, welcoming place with that touch that makes you want to stay. And there I asked myself: can a casual stop become the highlight of the day? Spoiler: yes. Even for someone like me, notoriously hard to impress 😉

13/08/2025: I'm sad to write this review because the pizza is one of the best in Medicina. But watch out for the prices! The lady at the cash register applies arbitrary prices to the pizzas. The total never matches the price on the paper menu. Once, she charged me an extra 0.50 cents for paying by card, and unfortunately, I only noticed after I left. Another evening, she told us we'd have to wait two hours for takeout pizzas, while eating in wouldn't have been that long. Why? Do they use two different ovens? All for a few euros more for cover and water. We won't be returning.

24/09/2025: Very good food but the welcome was nothing. We had booked in the morning for the evening. When we arrived, there was no table set for us, nor a place to sit. We had to choose on the spot. We had to eat in a hurry because they were cleaning the tables next to us with a spray bottle, etc. Well, spending a lot to eat in a hurry and seeing the employees want to kick you out is not the best. I'm sorry, but for the employees, if you don't like a job, change it. Don't work where you don't want to. I'm sorry because the food is excellent, but I like to have an evening, not a food marathon.

18/10/2025: Osteria restaurant in the small town of Travo, popular with Italians and English tourists; excellent traditional Piacenza dishes served in an internal terrace that is perhaps a little artificial but quite cool; good service considering the number of customers, even on weekdays, and the number of waiters (2). The Gutturnio Barattieri is excellent.

10/09/2025: Stunning view... exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and kindness from the table staff... rustic mountain setting, partly run-down with various signs of rust... chandeliers partly in disrepair... which, if cared for, could add value to the whole thing. Welcoming rooms for the newlyweds... except for a few typical country bugs that inevitably pop up here and there... The food served was, I think, the worst I've ever tasted. Good cured meats... Intolerances were certainly handled with the best intentions, but the outcome was truly poor. The dishes were presented at a basic level, not wedding-quality, resulting in a need to use the toilet during the evening and still today, two days later. The lady managing the dining room definitely needs to reconsider her customer service approach... we felt like we were being criticized for being put in a difficult position by our intolerances... but a chef does this for a living, and I can't believe they weren't able to prepare something presentable so far in advance... a first course with reheated zucchini certainly isn't wedding-worthy... a fillet without a cream or accompaniment to soften it or complement it... a tasty tartlet, but served as a single portion at a wedding, no way... it looked like leftover panettone garnished with cream. Not even a decoration on top, so you could see the sliced ​​panettone. I absolutely wouldn't go back, and the price paid, in my opinion, doesn't reflect the quality offered.
