15/10/2025: Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at Trattoria da Me from start to finish. When we arrived for our reservation at 9:30 there was a line of people waiting to be seated. There is only one person at the door to take payments and seat reservations which makes it a long wait time and very crowded in the entry just to be seated. After we finally sat down we ordered and the waiter kept interrupting as we tried to order and suggesting things we didn’t want. Once we ordered and the first plates came they were ok. Then we waited a long time for the second course. We ordered the cod fillet, which was extremely undercooked that you couldn’t even cut it. We asked for them to take it back to cook further, which they said ok and they will make us a new one that would take 10 minutes. 40 minutes later after asking they bought out the new plates that were exactly the same. Chewy and undercooked. They told us they slow cook it in a water bath but that was not made clear by the menu description that said ‘slow cooked cod’. It was not a pleasant dish to eat, we tried a bit and told them that we’re not able to eat it. I am pescatarian and have worked in restaurants with water baths and have never seen a piece of fish served like this. It was very disappointing after waiting so long. When we sent it back the second time the waitress told us we would not be charged and for the fish and asked if we would like some limoncello, which I accepted. Then we went to pay the bill and the cod was still there so when I asked the cashier she told me yes because we are charging you for only 2 instead of 4, and we also gave you the wine and liquor free. They offered me the limoncello and then are telling me they are not including it in the bill. Oh yes and also while we were eating there is a hidden door behind my friends chair, which the waitress made her move so she could go in and out scratching her jacket with the door. I never write bad reviews but I honestly can’t believe I just paid for that. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

23/09/2025: We went here yesterday for breakfast. The place was nice, the staff was perhaps a little stressed because it was quite busy, but they were still friendly. However, the cappuccino was cold/lukewarm, almost undrinkable. If we weren't in a hurry, I would have returned it. We didn't like the croissants (I left half on the plate for this reason): the dough was closer to a sweet roll than a real croissant, and the cream was sour. Maybe we had a bad day, but I don't think we'll go back. There are plenty of places in Rimini where we've had much better food.

30/05/2025: on advice we stopped for an aperitif and I must say very satisfied with an addition of € 3 on drinks you can use the buffet (pizza, erbazzone, stuffed gnocco, various sandwiches) we took 3 non-alcoholic cocktails cost € 10.00 each nice atmosphere and ok staff

26/08/2025: The location is beautiful and the waiters are very kind. As a celiac, I was surprised to be able to eat the bread they brought to my table (not to be underestimated). The food was really good and we didn't have to wait long. The portions are quite large and reasonable for the prices. I will definitely be back!!

20/08/2025: Outside, you're greeted by a pond with a waterfall and goldfish. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is air-conditioned, the interior is welcoming, and there's also seating available on the veranda. I was surprised to find knives at the table, and the menu offers more desserts than other similar restaurants. BUT: the water served at the table is in a glass bottle with the restaurant's logo but is not sealed. It could easily be tap water, in which case it would be absurd to charge for it. I urge a general cleaning since there were cobwebs and the windows are clearly not clean.

04/09/2025: It seems like they've switched from beef hot pot to plain oil. That's terrible, considering it's so hard to get the right hot pot ingredients in Europe. A rich, beef hot pot should be your biggest draw. What's even more outrageous is that the pig throat wasn't fresh and wasn't cleanly killed. I put it in the pot to cook it longer before eating it, but the waiter told me to cook it for only seven or eight seconds. Come on, do you think this is fresh Chinese food? What kind of animal am I to eat pig throat like this after just seven or eight seconds? I saw your reply. I didn't say I went to the restaurant during your vacation. I've eaten at your place many times. If you still think it's beef hot pot, you might need to contact the supplier. I put ice cubes in the oil, and it didn't solidify. It's clearly vegetable oil, not animal oil.
