02/10/2025: Hands down, the best delicatessen in Piacenza. It's rare to meet a true professional who pours all their love and knowledge into what they do, yet remains humble. Anyone who enters Il Salumaio Valla can see the owner's passion: we found ourselves spellbound listening to his stories about the curing process of the cured meats, while tasting them accompanied by a special wine (also produced by him), halfway between still and sparkling, sweet just like the wine itself. Personally, I would walk the entire length of Via Roma every day, even though it's no longer the best area of ​​the city, just to return to that little shop brimming with history, studded with price lists as they once were. It's a leap into the past but also a step into the future, thanks to the gourmet selection it offers. I can't wait to return, even if it's just to try the famous gourmet chocolate with pancetta, or to experience the banquet they host on the first Sunday of the month, with everything freshly prepared. A place that will stay in your heart and honors Piacenza's traditions. Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: As I passed the window, my attention was drawn to the bread and some pumpkin tarts, as well as the humorous captions describing the delicacies so tastefully displayed. Inside, I enjoyed a pleasant conversation with the jovial Mr. Ettore, a son of a professional, who enthusiastically described and praised his artisanal products. In addition to the fig foie gras, which he makes himself, I also purchased the coppa, the true star of the counter. It seems homemade using the traditional method of dry-salting and drying over a wood fire. Naturally, I also purchased the two pumpkin products. I was able to appreciate the truly authentic flavor of products purchased only at home. The foie gras was supplied in a refrigerated bag. Delicious when chilled, it was appreciated for its originality. Bravo!

16/09/2025: The kebab is very good, a little small for the average, with very fresh and unique ingredients (I've never seen grilled vegetables on a kebab, and they really work well). The fries, even for takeout, are really good: thick-cut, crispy, and fragrant. The only downside is that the place can be a little dark, with a few too many flies during the summer months, when the doors are open.

15/09/2025: I used to come to this beach resort about 50 years ago (I'm 58 now) with my family when it was called Bagno Bar Sport, and we always had a great time. In those days, Lido di Spina held a certain magic for both young and old, even for me as a child. I don't think much of that magic remains these days, especially since I haven't been to Lido di Spina for a few decades. Times have changed, like everything else, but those were happy, carefree years.

Everyone says, "It's not suitable for sushi, but rather for a rustic restaurant," but for me, it's the best because I love rustic restaurants no matter what they serve! Plus, the quality/price ratio is unbeatable, because everything is delicious! Quiet atmosphere, very kind staff (who I think are family), everything spotless... I've never found anything better!

The desserts are also top-notch: soft and fragrant cakes, rich in fillings. The staff is friendly and willing to offer advice; you can sense the passion they put into their work. 05/10/2025: The first time I discovered this place I loved it where there is so much greenery the thing I liked most was that you could buy their products grown by them I returned more than once despite some flaws such as the menu without prices the total bill not detailed despite having reported it to the relevant people today I returned for lunch and to buy products I was very disappointed insufficient staff and not the fault of the waiters where they were rushed and could not interact even for a minute with the customers however there would be so much more to comment just a small advice for the owner the customer should be treated carefully and pampered and I add the taxes We all pay them perhaps...... And with this I'm done I will not return again.
