14/09/2025: Today, for the Montese potato and mountain Parmigiano Reggiano festival, they offered an amazing set menu. Everything was truly delicious. The service was impeccable. The courtesy was top-notch (truly a style from another era). Something unusual, something you don't see in any restaurant anymore, was seeing the waitresses pass between the tables with their serving platters, offering seconds of each course: WHAT A WONDERFUL! Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and always excellent. The girls in the dining room were wonderful, as was the lady who coordinated them. It's worth returning to try the dishes from their à la carte menu. IN THE MEANTIME, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

This was the highlight of our entire trip, and honestly, it’s hard to imagine anything else living up to this experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with a level of service that instantly set the tone for what was to come. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through each course and ensuring that our every need was met. Their genuine passion for the food was evident, and it made the entire meal feel like a special event. Now, let's talk about the food. The multi-course tasting menu was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was an artwork, bursting with flavors that were as bold as they were delicate, every bite perfectly balanced. It’s clear that attention to detail and creativity are at the heart of this restaurant, with the chef pushing boundaries while respecting tradition. Colorful dishes, rich in flavor and texture, with a wealth of spices carefully balanced, each dish presented with a brief description of the ingredients used, and informal and truly pleasant service—a wonderful experience I highly recommend!

05/10/2025: Always good. You feel good, you eat well, and you leave happier than when you came in. Booking is a good idea. It's also excellent for breakfast, especially for those with lactose intolerance, and in Imola you can't find anything edible. It's a real treat here.

28/09/2025: Disappointing aperitif and high price. The non-alcoholic fruit drink was Fanta on the rocks...7 euros. The platter with 8 pieces of focaccia and pizza...served cold from the fridge...8 euros, plus the owner's annoyed face because I asked for them to at least be warmed up! Not to mention 4 pieces of pizza for 5 euros. Then the waiter came to clear the table before we finished. We won't be back! I'm responding to the owner's comment, which I think has already been formulated... and in broken Italian. Dear owner...since he wasn't there, I suggest you tell your employee...the old bald guy...not to act like the boss! Also, tell the employees...the kids...to wait for the customers to leave before clearing the table! I wish you all the best!

03/11/2025: A restaurant offering great seafood. The name is not accidental, the portolan was a kind of medieval map. Well, anyone can navigate anywhere here and get good food. The staff is very polite and patient, even with Hungarian guests who are not familiar with marine biology. You can order any fish dish, and you will not be disappointed. The 40 euro plate contains five types of fish in many specimens. It is worth trying! The risotto combined with sea urchins will not disappoint either. Caution is only justified with the sea snails (lumachine), of which there are about 200 on the plate, and it takes a lot of patience to pry them out of their shells. The snail sauce (sugo), however, was one of the most delicious I ate in Italy. The wine selection is worthy of the dishes. I can only recommend it.
