10/11/2024: Splendid fortress. The management of reservations definitely needs to be reviewed. There is no ticket office and you have to call or write to the guide for a reservation. Anyway very kind guides. This former prison fortress has enormous potential

07/11/2024: Evocative and captivating, the guide was good, I would perhaps have put up a panel telling the story of the meeting between Leonardo Da Vinci and Cesare Borgia, Diolaiuti didn't come because he had to supervise the vegans.

24/12/2024: My favorite place, when I come to Bologna... Their pasticciotti are out of this world... But they are absolutely worth trying, even the lobsters with Chantilly cream... Very crunchy and the cream is EXCELLENT... I I'd say you should eat something whatever comes your way, because everything there is spectacular 😍... The girls who work there are all nice and courteous... Ahh I forgot... Even their mega kraften is delicious... And if you want something savory, I recommend their pizza with black olives and cherry tomatoes and their fried panzerotto.. Top.. In short, I don't know how else to tell you... GO THERE!

03/12/2024: True professionals. Prices displayed in each piece of rotisserie. In the photo, the pastry with ham and bechamel sauce speaks for itself: very full! As well as the cream krapfen, which weighed in my hand with so much cream inside. Two lattes with long coffee and they asked me if I wanted them without foam: I had never received so much attention and they were really perfect for me. I stopped because I was passing through and too bad it's not easy for me to reach them in the morning. I think they also do lunches or perhaps aperitifs, because there is also a closed gazebo outside. If I can I will definitely return.

10/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante per festeggiare un compleanno, con una richiesta ben chiara : saletta privata e possibilità di mettere la musica. La richiesta è stata accettata, ci hanno sistemato in una sala privata al primo piano della struttura. Alle ore 21.55 (lo so con certezza perché ho guardato l’orario) si è presentato il titolare con con tono arrogante ed offensivo, dandoci dei matti e sostenendo che il locale non era una discoteca, insisteva nel dire addirittura che non ci aveva concesso la musica nella sala, al nostro arrivo però c’era la cassa fattaci trovate da lui, mentre rimproverava sosteneva di aver ricevuto telefonate di lamentela dai clienti, visto i suoi toni e modi abbiamo lasciato che decidesse lui il volume della musica e ci siamo scusati, nonostante ci sentissimo offesi ed umiliati. Al momento del pagamento, il titolare ha ribadito quanto detto prima, ho chiesto gentilmente di smetterla perché poteva usare altri toni e modi, sottolineando il fatto che nessuno ha offeso lui e ricordandogli che il locale era stato scelto per la festa proprio perché ci era stato concesso di mettere la musica, lui replicava dicendo che il giorno dopo lo avrebbero chiamato sicuramente per lamentarsi, quando un’ora prima aveva sostenuto di essersi presentato perché aveva già ricevuto telefonato di lamentele. Quindi queste persone avevo chiamato o no? In tutto ciò credo abbia umiliato davanti a tutti anche il caposala, Idris, ragazzo educatissimo e molto professionale, troppo per il posto a mio avviso, sprecato per stare lì, si è addirittura scusato con noi per i modi del suo titolare. Tutto sommato abbiamo mangiato bene, il servizio impeccabile, merito però solo di Idris e del suo collega. Trattandosi di una festa di compleanno avevo creato anche un arco di palloncini, alcuni fatti scoppiare dai bambini e da noi ripulito, per farvi capire quanto incivili siamo… Peccato i modi ed il tono, che ci hanno fatto disgustare il posto e rovinare un po’ il clima di festa, bastava chiamare da parte uno di noi e dire di abbassare o spegnere e chiarire, ma offendere una sala intera, mi sembra inaccettabile

04/11/2024: Scegliendo i piatti della tradizione secondo me andate a colpo sicuro, veramente buoni, con un personale gentile e cordiale. Locale elegante e accogliente, gode di parcheggio auto.

07/12/2024: The restaurant is a distant memory of the previous management. The excellent location in the center of Modena has remained and the menu on the menu is made up of traditional dishes. The quality of the food, however, is poor with the overly greasy dumpling and the wine served at first rate prices. In my opinion, not good advertising for tourists, for Modena food and Lambrusco. Poor service. Restaurant atmosphere but they squeezed us into a corner. Spent 38 euros for a menu with 3 first courses, gnocco and tigelle. I don't recommend it.

24/11/2024: I ate well. I got the fried gnocco with ham and pumpkin ravioli. Both very good. Fast and kind service.

20/12/2024: This establishment sets the gold standard for accommodation and fine dining. It is a family run business in the mountains of Grizzana south of Bologna in Italy. During my four day stay I experienced superb original Italian food prepared by Norma and served by Beppe. Nothing was too much trouble, The ambiance was superb, with original decor and contemporary music. The accommodation was very comfortable and warm with quality fittings, tv and a well equipped bathroom. Prices were reasonable for the standard set. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

05/12/2024: We wanted to try it even though they didn't speak very well about it. We tried the fish, even though we are a little far from the sea the "owner" told us that it arrives fresh every day, even if the delivery times didn't convince me very much. There were 6 of us, we took the whole first course (measly portions), 3 second courses, 2 desserts, 2 bottles of wine (from €20) total €60 each, it seemed like a mistake in fact they won't see us again.... Who doesn't accept criticism is not a serious independent professional whether he has a profile photo or not. First 200g? Yes with the whole dish🤣😂🤣

19/12/2024: I asked for a Hugo spritz three times. For the bartender: ELDERBERRY, PROSECCO, SODA AND MINT LEAVES. The first time I received soda, prosecco with lemon zest. They did it again for me. The third time prosecco, elderberry and ice. I gave up, but I shouldn't have to pay for such a service.

18/12/2024: Congratulations for the very welcoming place... wonderful atmosphere for how it was furnished... with taste... so many details that make you say wow. Excellent wine..excellent appetizers. Absolutely worth trying. Congratulations to all the staff... especially to the guys who really know how to manage it with passion

06/10/2024: An Emilian management in Romagna... a successful combination. Very good dishes, served in an informal and pleasant way. Excellent quality of raw materials and an excellent touch from the cook, which makes the dishes we tasted exquisite. We had dinner twice and we definitely recommend the mollusc and crustacean soup served with croutons, grilled octopus on creamy potatoes, spaghetti alla guitar with seafood... Furthermore, being able to eat outside with the tables set in the square is very pleasant in my opinion... however, it can become challenging on a hot and muggy summer evening.

09/12/2024: Sono tornato in questa trattoria, questa volta con alcuni miei amici, per una cena a base di pesce. Solita alta qualità di tutte le materie prime. Menù non ampio ma variegato. Titolare cortese e disponibile. Ambiente curato e piacevole. Non posso far altro che riconfermare il mio positivo riscontro.

06/11/2024: 5 stars are few, staff of unique kindness and very attentive to food intolerances! Delicious pizzas, both normal and sliced. Intimate but very welcoming environment, also having an outdoor terrace for the warmer periods.
