Tavern from a bygone era
By booking personally, we were able to appreciate the simplicity of the place and the friendliness of the owner.
He immediately inspired us with confidence, and we took advice on the first courses, handmade tortellini in broth, excellent!
For the second course, however, we chose a typical dish based on grilled lamb, with a strong, tender and tasty flavour. All accompanied with an excellent Lambrusco.
Simple environment, deliberately sized to guarantee professionalism and quality to its customers. Minimum waiting time required for preparing dishes. We will definitely be back on our next trip and stop in Castel San Pietro Terme!

It was a nice discovery
Second courses, side dishes and desserts are very good but the best part are the handcrafted first courses of the highest quality

Nice experience...small but precious place.
Local but original dishes. I like the idea of tortelloni with pears. Good prices
Also worth trying are the tortellini pasticciati, they are handmade and super small.

We often go with my partner to get away from the routine of the city. Today we were looking for a place to taste good food. We were intrigued by the trattoria Il Sapore Antico. WHAT TO SAY Excellent choice We immediately felt at ease with delicious food that went beyond all our expectations. Siamo stati qui di passaggio per un weekend. Mangiato benissimo, personale molto cortese e ambiente tipico. Ti senti come a casa. Consigliatissimo.

A pranzo oggi con un collega.
A me l'ambiente è piaciuto molto, sapore di vecchia osteria, arredamento di tempi in cui da ragazzo frequentavo le osterie.
La nota non del tutto positiva è la quantità di ragù d'anatra utilizzato per condire le tagliatelle. Il ragù buono con grani di pepe lamento la quantità. Molto buono il friggione, pomodori e cipolle cotte insieme per tre ore, consigliato.
Migliorabile la qualità del pane servito a tavola, assolutamente da migliorare servendo pane toscano.
Prezzi onesti e in linea con un'osteria.

Ti senti a casa...Mangiando cibo di alta qualità..Polenta fritta frittelline salumi tutto delizioso e poi i tortellini fatti in casa piccolissimi ma altrettanto buonissimi!!!!Servizio eccellente con padrone di casa super!!!Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo!
