An employee took us to our seat and loudly slammed something on the table. Well then... But later we had a very good meal... the other service staff were a little more open... very noisy because there was a huge room full of guests. Overall we ate well...

05/12/2024: One of the best all you can eat options I've tried in Bologna. Price similar to other good restaurants tried, food quality above average. The red prawns are good, the variety of ravioli is pleasant. Very tasty ramen. Menu for two, Sunday evening, with a bottle of wine and sake around 90 euros. Recommended, I will be back!

05/12/2024: This is one of the top 5 sushi restaurants in Modena. A variety of toppings are available, mainly tuna, salmon, and sea bass. I ordered a set of sashimi and nigiri sushi, and although it wasn't as delicious as it was, the shrimp were fresh and I think it was reasonably delicious. It may have been a coincidence that the day I visited, but the take-out sushi seemed to be very popular, and there were quite a few dine-in customers, so the restaurant seemed quite busy. There are not many brands of Japanese beer, sake, shochu, etc., but you can also try yakisoba with sauce and desserts like Yukimi Daifuku using mochi. Of course, you can also drink espresso after your meal. Even though I drank too much sparkling white wine, the bill ended up being quite high.

22/12/2024: Very helpful staff, Paolo is a guarantee and a very reliable and friendly person. I didn't use the breakfast service, but the rooms are quiet and clean. Very good location, you can get around the center of Bologna on foot without problems. Not a small detail, the hotel is equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility. Promoted without any doubt.

01/11/2024: Trattoria Venturoli  Specialità Rane alla Cacciatora  BARICELLA (BO) Via Roma 84.   Negli ultimi anni del 1800, la popolazione veniva a conoscenza di una apertura  dedita a bar/osteria/trattoria  a Baricella, comune della bassa pianura bolognese, gestita da Venturoli Otello e la moglie Pasquali Teresa, i quali proponevano ciò che la natura rendeva disponibile ma, già con manifestati interessi culinari rivolti alle “rane”. Da notizie attendibili la signora Pasquali all’epoca iniziò a elaborare la ricetta  “rane alla cacciatora” (da non confondere con le rane in umido) …ricetta  poi consegnata al figlio Valerio e moglie Maria.        Valerio le catturava nei canali, stagni, fossi, maceri del territorio … questo mi raccontava tanti anni fa. Il tempo scorre di generazione in generazione fino agli attuali nipoti Stefano e Nadia (figli di Valerio Venturoli e la signora Maria), i quali attualmente in presenza e assistenza, stanno trasferendo l’attività a Cantauro Antonio abitante di Baricella.  Antonio è un esperto operatore nel settore ristorativo con il quale ho avuto il piacere di fare conoscenza e apprezzare le sue capacità professionali. Senza il benchè minimo indugio, è emersa una sua decisa volontà di dare una concreta continuità -  senza turbare le abitudini dei tradizionali clienti - alle “storiche proposte culinarie”, che hanno, e tuttora coinvolgono, i gusti e le scelte di tantissimi frequentatori/appassionati,        Venuta a meno da tempo per vari motivi (inquinamenti, predatori) la possibilità di catturare le Rane,  nei luoghi sopra citati, attualmente vengono importate prevalentemente dall’Albania , Turchia , Vietnam, vive o surgelate. Solitamente le Rane verdi e più piccole sono da preferire.  Da oltre quarant’anni frequento questa “casa” della Rana alla cacciatora (per chi lo desidera viene servita anche solo fritta, ma alla cacciatora è “unica” senza escludere altri piatti interessanti, di cui ne cito  tre, come le Tagliatelle fatte a mano tirate al mattarello servite con ragù di carne o prosciutto;  gli imperdibili Tortelloni ripieni di ottima ricotta serviti con burro e oro altrimenti burro e salvia;  l’impareggiabile Fior di Latte, da mangiarne “a più non posso” (marginali variabili con il Latte Brule’ romagnolo, da non confondere con il Crem Caramel o budini vari).  Solitamente le porzioni sono di una soddisfacente copiosa quantità.   Il menù comprende altre, non tantissime, ma interessanti proposte.  Vini, chiedendo, qualche accettabile etichetta c’è … margini per ampliare le proposte della cantina ci sono.  I costi ogni portata: i primi piatti da 9 a 12€ ; secondi piatti da 7 a 12€ e 22€ per le Rane; dessert 5€.   Dopo oltre 40 anni di frequentazione con totale appagamento delle mie aspettative e per rapporto qualità/prezzo, se NON vi consigliassi una visita mi potreste considerare un “autolesionista”, dal punto di vista gastronomico.    DonAttilio

23/12/2024: I visited this place on 12.21.2024 ordered an appetizer of mixed cold cuts with fried gnocco and cappellacci butter and sage. All very good, the only small note (in my humble opinion) was that the butter should have fried a little more with the sage. But it's just a personal opinion. However, everything was good and the price was more than fair. Recommended 👍. Last thing, you can also eat pizza🍕

15/12/2024: Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent service and quality products. The cured meats (homemade bacon that melted in your mouth) with polenta taragna and gorgonzola are recommended. The cheese platter is also very good. Neapolitan fried foods are also offered (mozzarella, cabbage, potato croquettes). As a first encore of tortelli and pisarei and faso. No seconds because we were really too full. For dessert, out of greed, we took some sbrisolona which the owner served us with freshly made zabaglione. Excellent wine produced by them. The place is clean and very nice, the table for ten that they gave us was large and comfortable to hold all the dishes without being cramped. Definitely worth taking into consideration when passing through the area to go to Graziani Visconti. The musician who was hosted and entertained the lunch with music also composed by him was also very good. All hospitable and friendly people, they met two customers who had food intolerances without any problems. In the end we stayed longer than necessary to chat a lot.

29/12/2024: Agriturismo molto carino nei colli piacentini, location meravigliosa, a dir poco fiabesca, immerso nella natura e nel silenzio assicura una bellissima vista. Camere spartane, ma all'interno di un casale in pietra. Cibo spaziale, e colazione molto fornita per essere un agriturismo, e tutta fatta in casa dallo chef. Ma soprattutto, tuto il personale gentilissimo e semplice, hanno risolto prontamente i nostri problemi. Consigliatissimo per famiglie, ma anche per viaggi con amici. Molto apprezzato il servizio di ristorazione alla sera in caso non ci si volesse spostare da là.

08/07/2024: I give 5 stars: the cake, a pastry with cream and mixed fruit, was beautiful and excellent in taste. Furthermore, they were honest and serious in accepting and processing the order. I will definitely use them again. If I can just make a small note: I called on Monday and they told me that the cake I requested cost a certain amount. On Wednesday I called back to confirm and spoke to another sales assistant who gave me another price for the same request.
