19/07/2024: Unique atmosphere!!! It reminds me a lot of Central Perk from the Friends television series. A place that stands out from all the others. Very welcoming and cared for. A point of reference for the neighborhood, it keeps us company from early morning until late at night. Breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and aperitifs in the company of very friendly staff. The place is very large and also has an outdoor terrace. A must for those who live in the area but also for those coming from "outside", especially for the cappuccino which has no equal on the face of the earth!!! Two years after my review, I would like to add a note on the human experience that I live every day while I enjoy my cappuccino. The people who work there are wonderful!!! I recommend anyone to spend a few more minutes inside the venue. You leave better people!!!

13/06/2024: The thing that struck me most positively when I entered for the first time - the first of many! - at Gommalacca (in addition to the name which is a clear reference to Battiato) it is the space: the environment is really large and immediately communicates that this is a place of relaxation. Upon entering you are greeted by a pleasant ensemble of plants (which also adorn the bright outdoor area in front of the entrance), and after passing the retro-looking counter, a large room opens up - soberly furnished with pieces of vintage furniture that give the right environmental mood - where the numerous tables are never too close to each other (there is also a comfortable sofa for those who want extra comfort); furthermore, during the day the skylights give the room soft and relaxing lighting. This is a place to go for extended breaks, to work in peace on your laptop or to chat with friends without having to raise your voice; even the slightly secluded location from the center (however reachable on foot in a few minutes) gives Gommalacca an additional aura of a 'secret place' for your comfort. Here a cocktail is always accompanied by abundant appetizers (pizzas, pretzels, chips), just as the lunch dishes are generous, which always have vegetarian and vegan alternatives (the same goes for the tasty pastries), always served with courtesy, a joke friendly from the guys in the club and a pop background that is never at invasive volumes (obviously if you love the Battiato Factory you have nothing to fear here, but there is something for everyone's tastes!). I really recommend Gommalacca to anyone who wants a place to feel comfortable at home, for me it is a place to take refuge at any time of the day (lunch, aperitif, free afternoon) with the certainty of always being at ease.

05/05/2024: Uno spettacolo! Un viaggio alla scoperta del caffè in tutte le sue forme. Titolari squisiti nel spiegarti ogni singolo dettaglio della lavorazione e dei segreti del caffè oltre ai dolci di pasticceria ottimi. Da buon campano non ho mai bevuto un caffè così buono.

08/05/2024: During our trip to Ferrara in May 2024, my sisters and I stumbled upon the Condor Bar on our last day in town. What a delightful find it turned out to be! Nestled in the heart of this charming Italian city, this quaint café instantly won us over with its welcoming staff. As we savoured our breakfast before heading to Bologna airport, we couldn't help but be enchanted by the friendliness of the Condor Bar team. They greeted us with genuine smiles and infectious laughter, setting the perfect tone for our final day in Ferrara. The breakfast was lovely and served with generous hospitality. From cappuccino to scrumptious pastries, everything was a testament to the care and attention at Condor Bar. So, thank you to the wonderful team at Condor Bar for the memorable morning and for sprinkling a bit of joy into our last day in the beautiful town of Ferrara. Your hospitality truly made our last day memorable. We'll be sure to return on our next adventure in Italy!

28/04/2024: Excellent breakfasts in the morning, excellent aperitifs in the evening. All at a reasonable price. Warm and friendly staff. Recommended for university students who want to drink well and spend little!

23/10/2024: Excellent pizza. Went there twice during our stay in Ossi and ordered pizza to take away. Each one was very tasty. Great dough, wood fired oven, delicious ingredients. In addition, a very pleasant waiting time and equally nice employees.

13/09/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale con la famiglia e siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti. Cibo buonissimo e di qualità, servizio eccellente, gentilezza e professionalità e il prezzo adeguatissimo a quello che abbiamo preso. La ragazza che ci ha servito molto gentile e cordiale, abbiamo provato piadina con salmone, rucola e squaqquarone super buona e molto grande. Pizza con mortadella e burrata di una delizia.. impasto molto lievitato e leggerissimo. Fritto di pesce e verdure leggero e croccante. Da tornare sicuramente!

12/12/2024: Locale molto isolato a santa Maria del Taro,però se ci si trova nei paraggi è il luogo ideale dove andare a rifocillarsi. Menù concordato, antipasti misti con frittate e vari tortini,torta fritta ripiena di formaggio e poi torta fritta con salumi. Bis di primi,tortelli al ragù di cinghiale e tagliatelle al pesto. Dolce,acqua vino caffè. Tutto ottimo,spesa 30€

24/11/2024: Pranzato una domenica , tutto ottimo e abbondante. Dagli antipasti che erano tantissimi, ai primi , sia le fettuccine ai porcini, che al tartufo nero. I secondi ottimi e i contorni buonissimi, oltre la varietà di dolci . Consigliato ,

06/11/2024: The front terrace of Ristorante La Forchetta - across narrow Borgo San Biagio from L'altro Forchetta – is a favourite spot for aperitivi on my Parma food & wine tours. Wherever you sit the service is prompt and friendly, drinks are well-crafted and generous and the snacks that accompany them are almost enough for a meal in themselves!

15/10/2024: Discovered a few days ago but already in my heart. It was my partner's birthday and we were desperately looking for a place to have brunch (which we love), after an unexpected event happened elsewhere. Telephone, we arrive at the last one and they welcome us with smiles, friendliness and availability. But not only that: after the brunch (all delicious) they also had a little thought for my girlfriend's birthday, reviving what had been a beautiful day from then on. Needless to say: go there! The food is great and they love what they do

05/10/2024: We often get takeaway. The very kind boy. Very short waiting times. Large variety of ingredients. We always take the oil dough which is lighter. Really competitive prices. We recently moved to live nearby but we are already loyal customers. Super recommended!!

29/09/2024: One of the best pastry shops in Parma, the shop is old but the pastries and fruit cake are spectacular. When I celebrate birthdays, I only have the cakes prepared here. It is definitely worth a visit and tasting.
