24/01/2026: This isn't my first time at this restaurant, and that's precisely why I recommend it. The food always lives up to expectations: fresh, well-cooked, and consistently tasty, with quality ingredients that make all the difference (and very fair prices!).
The service also deserves special mention: the staff is friendly, attentive, and fast, making you feel welcomed right away. It's clear they've refined everything over time, from the dining room to the kitchen.
P.S.: The desserts were wonderful.
A place I'd love to return to and recommend without hesitation.

22/02/2026: Welcoming place, and the owner is very helpful and friendly! I had mutton and pancetta, which were very good and well-cooked. The quality/price ratio was a bit high, but it's also true that everything went up.
07/02/2026: Amazing artisanal cured meats, excellent meats. I had phenomenal grilled mutton, ribs with a little extra attention: a slice of shoulder, the best cut for grilling, and the wild-fed pork, tasty and flavorful.
A very impressive selection of cheeses.
The wine cellar offers excellent selections, from the excellent bottled house wine to important bottles. I appreciated the Poliziano winery with its Asinone, a stunning wine.
The staff is professional yet warm and ready for a joke. The place has plenty of charm.
A wonderful lunch experience.

12/03/2026: I went for lunch with my friends. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow, partly because they put us at a table far from the main dining area where most of the customers were. Overall, a good experience.

The meat was exceptional, just like the pasta dishes. The only thing I found sweet was the baked potatoes. The chard and broccoli were delicious.
I had the pizza, which they just started making. Very good, with a crispy, light crust. The toppings were just right. The selection isn't extensive, but they're open to making changes.
I'd change the decor a bit to freshen things up. Friendly staff.
We'll be back. The dining room is large, with a veranda and two smaller dining rooms, which we really like. The bathrooms are large and clean.
A pizza tour is available.

25/01/2026: Unfortunately, I wouldn't return to this restaurant. We waited 45 minutes before they came to take reservations. I'm still waiting for the first course. The cappellacci with chestnuts were tasteless and overcooked. The tagliatelle with mushrooms were also forgettable, without any flavor. The baked potatoes were raw. Those who had fish had a better experience. I'm waiting a long time for the dessert combinations, but at least they were very good. I was very disappointed.

03/03/2026: We ate at this restaurant on a Sunday after a stroll through San Luca without a reservation, and they seated us right away. The waiters were very kind, and the food was truly excellent...especially the balanzoni, a delight! Excellent value for money.
27/02/2026: It was already excellent 6 years ago, but they've raised the bar on service and product quality.
5 stars are a must. The two waiters were delicious, as were the balanzoni and the duck breast. Plus, they offered the Catalan cream, which never hurts.

21/12/2025: We went on a Sunday evening with the family.
The pizza was nothing special; I think the place was only full because of the extremely cheap price (the only positive note).
The owner was awful, rude, and very unpleasant with his employees, especially the young, well-mannered ones.
In the hour we were there, they were insulted four times, loudly where all the customers could hear.
Learning good manners is a good thing, dear owner.
We were all young once, and we all made mistakes.
21/12/2025: Just the sight of the owner kneading the pizza dough, that clean-cut face, and that head-turning quiff, is worth it all.

03/02/2026: The staff is very young, friendly, and welcoming. The ingredients are delicious, and unlimited water is included in the cover charge (an extremely rare occurrence). The prices are high, but the ingredients are high-quality and the produce is ethical. Outside, there's a large green area used in the summer. You spend a little more, but you eat well, feel at home, and support more ethical and clean production of raw materials.

08/02/2026: Small restaurant on the side of one of Bologna's main squares. An incredible location, uncluttered and uncluttered, with a character few places possess. The host is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the appetizers are delicious, along with a selection of wines! I highly recommend it.
