09/11/2025: What can I say... I've called several times to make a reservation and for one reason or another we never manage to meet... on the third attempt for Sunday lunch we managed it. We are a family of 4: 2 adults and 2 children. We had a mixed lunch of Ferrara-style first courses and mixed fish dishes with appetizers and second courses. Everything was delicious and homemade. We finished, and I got up for the bill. The owner looked at me and said, "LUNCH IS ON US TO APOLOGIZE for the times we couldn't get you to dine with us!" Something that has never happened in 26 years of living in Ferrara. Unique and unrepeatable! THANK YOU THANK YOU! If you want to feel at home and eat hearty, tasty, and simple dishes, you can't go wrong. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! SEE YOU SOON, MAX YANEZ and Elisa 🥰 you left us with a great memory.

There were three of us, with three first courses, only two second courses, and dessert with only water, which was frankly too expensive. A serious flaw was the lack of a menu, which is required by law. You don't know which dishes are listed or how much they cost. I won't be returning.

08/11/2025: For six of us, we spent €130 for lunch. It was busy, so we stayed outside. We were happy. I like the service, the food, the staff is friendly and clean, and I enjoyed the hot plum sake. The 🍺 is good. Dinner for four was $132. The staff is fast, friendly, and professional. They offered me Chinese medicinal grappa, made with natural herbs, deer horn, and so on. As always, I tried the plum grappa—good for relaxing. We were happy. Thank you.

07/11/2025: This place has its ups and downs; there are times when everything is perfect, and times when the food isn't exactly great, and the cleanliness isn't the best either. The last time I was there, we unfortunately found a bone in the salmon carpaccio, and the plates on which the first and second courses were served were stained and had fingerprints. It's a shame, because the service is helpful and fast; and, generally speaking, the dishes are well-prepared.

We ordered two excellent appetizers (deer tartare and cod cannoli), truly delicious ossobuco tortelli, a Bolognese cutlet that amazed us, and an almond tartlet with coffee cream that was truly incredible!
