08/03/2026: The restaurant has a modern look and is tastefully decorated. The place was packed, so there was a bit of a wait, but the service was very attentive. They served both pizza and seafood and meat dishes. The pizza isn't Neapolitan, but it's not thin and crispy either. It wasn't the best I've ever had, and the prosciutto was so salty it was unpleasant. However, I'll be back to try the restaurant's dishes, as they look very inviting.
04/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to change my review to a negative one. Previously, upon arrival, the table already had welcome appetizers: seasoned black olives, battered zucchini, and fried bread balls, which were very nice. Now, they've only kept the fried bread balls. I think that since they decide to offer such a free service, it doesn't make sense to reduce the service later if you obviously lose points. Either you don't do a gesture from the start, or it's unfair to reduce it as time goes by. The pizzas are truly gigantic, very thin, nothing to complain about; they're very good.
It's a shame they took the homemade cheesecake off the menu, which was delicious. Last time, however, we had the millefeuille, which was even too big, but we didn't really like it because it was very dry and made your mouth feel sticky. They offer digestifs—limoncino, melon, and licorice liqueur—brought directly to the table in glass bottles, so you can drink as much as you want.
However, I've noticed that between lunch and dinner, the service is less attentive in the evening. At lunchtime, it's better. However, the last time we went there for dinner, it was rather slow and distracted. Our water wasn't brought long after we'd ordered it, our drinks were even brought first, and the chili pepper oil for our pizza took so long that it almost made no sense to use it anymore, given that it was running out. A disappointment.

03/01/2026: A truly wonderful time in a lovely setting with delicious food! We went for New Year's Eve dinner and had a fantastic evening. The warm welcome, the food and wine were divine, and the intimate atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Thank you!
01/01/2026: I booked here blind for New Year's Eve dinner, given the online references and the proximity to my accommodation. The menu was typical Bolognese, but honestly, it was my fault for not carefully evaluating the menu, which already seemed inappropriate for a (too heavy) New Year's Eve dinner, but more like a tasting menu for tourists. The place is also unique, large but lacks a warm atmosphere. 75% of the guests are tourists, those with the worst culinary aptitudes. The staff, made up for by the extra service that evening, were really young, some of them just starting out.
1.50g of Parma ham on the plate as an appetizer and two pieces of banal parmesan cheese, which already made us off to a bad start, exhausted by having to finish a healthy platter on our own. Porcini flan drowned in parmesan sauce that was basically a moist omelette with frozen porcini mushrooms. The parmesan-tossed tortellini with truffles were acceptable, but presented in a useless plastic container two sizes larger than the plate itself. We continued with the worst cutlet Bolognese I've ever had: tough meat, soggy breading, and overall very salty, accompanied by a paste called purée. Almost inedible.
Let's leave out the dessert, and I won't comment on the wine, which was undrinkable. I apologize for not realizing this is a restaurant incapable of managing or offering a decent New Year's Eve dinner. I hope it was just a one-night stumble.

21/02/2026: Always a guarantee. Everything is good, nothing excluded. Clear choice of daily menu and à la carte. If you like Fortsna del Taro as an aperitif: a great wine that is only produced in the area. Always a must when passing through Parma.
P.S. The bread is a sublime delight; I'd say it's the best in the last three years. But where is that baker? Even the bread itself tells the story of a restaurant's quality.

10/03/2026: Even though the place is close to my house, I'd never been there for dinner. I made a reservation and went with my wife to celebrate her birthday and International Women's Day. I was pleased with the choice, the exceptional menu, and the courteous service. I'll definitely be back because the menu is seasonal, so the dishes change, and my curiosity is piqued.
05/03/2026: We went for Valentine's Day. We were happy with everything. The service was fast and accurate, the menu good and varied. It was impossible not to find something to your liking. The bill was reasonable and probably not excessive given the evening.

09/03/2026: Ate last night, perfectly digested.
Well-maintained historic location, large parking lot, warm, enigmatic entrance.
I enter, the bar is friendly and feels like a club.
I ask for lunch.
I take advantage of letting my Russian chef wife order agnolini to introduce him to a certified agnolini. Together we order a potato tortellone, and I order a fillet steak with black truffle and potatoes, followed by dessert.
I eat, and a lovely surprise: here, normality is perfection.
While I'm making fun of the chef's embarrassment to the person serving me because he served me the fillet steak in a cast iron dish, which is usually used in Chinese cuisine (lupus infabula), the chef/owner himself comes out into the dining room; after I teased him that I thought he was Chinese, he very kindly explained to me the canonical choices of the agnolini, his history, and that of the restaurant.
His passion and expertise confirmed to me that it was possible that there the norm was to eat perfect dishes, but also not boring because as you eat them, every new bite tells you something new.

14/02/2026: After many years, we finally return to Ivan, and nothing has changed: quality, kindness, and the atmosphere are top-notch.
The main dining room is bright and airy thanks to the large window overlooking the garden. The menu features all the treasures of this region, starting with the cured meats. They're a must-try, and the house classic appetizer is worth the trip. We start with the tosone e pancetta, fried polenta with an incredibly fluffy lard pesto. The culatello and prosciutto are perfect, sweet, with an enveloping flavor; it's worth adding a few slices of salami, aged yet tender and with a timeless flavor. All accompanied by Pizzavacca's excellent giardiniera. Among the first courses, featuring anolini, braided green tortelli, and orzotto with salami paste, we were tempted by the lasagnetta with three ragùs. It's not your typical lasagna; it's not wrapped in béchamel, but topped with a parmesan fondue, making it incredibly delicious. Among the many layers of soft, thin pasta, here are the three ragùs: the savory yet sweet meat is perfectly evident given the absence of béchamel. The second courses are also inviting, but the space left is minimal. So, we shared tender sautéed snails on a potato cream. A sweet conclusion with some Carnival treats. As for wine, we treated ourselves to a champagne all-you-can-eat meal, but the wine list is endless and caters for all tastes.
In conclusion, a lunch to remember. I hope to return soon.
02/02/2026: Ivan and Barbara are always a guarantee. The cuisine is top-notch, with exquisite appetizers and first courses featuring all handmade pasta. A special mention goes to the lasagna with three ragù sauces. Desserts are a must-try; you can't go wrong. The wine is excellent; even a "simple" Lambrusco can make a difference. Attentive and impeccable service... Highly recommended...

14/02/2026: We went for Valentine's Day. I saw a very inviting mini cake for two and asked what was inside. They didn't tell me it contained liqueur, so without batting an eye, I kept it, let my husband eat it all, and then got another sweet. When it came to the bill, I expected a discount. 1 spritz, 1 large ginseng, the mini cake (for two), and this heart-shaped sweet: €20 with a 20-cent discount. The spritz didn't have any appetizers. It could have been better managed. But they were polite and apologized. This isn't a criticism, but rather an incentive to improve for next time.
01/02/2026: The quality has declined over the course of a couple of years: you can see it in the simpler dishes, which aren't as good as they were a couple of years ago. A special mention goes to the red-haired lady serving: I highly recommend she change jobs. Leaving aside the fact that she's incompetent and arrogant, this is the second time we've arrived at the restaurant, after having booked, and she's found an excuse outside to not honor our reservation. After accepting a fallback table, around 6:25 PM we ask for the restaurant menu, and she again gives us another classy jab, annoyed, stating, "The kitchen opens at 6:45 PM!" For 20 minutes, you can't say "restaurant menu" inside the restaurant, or she'll get angry. The icing on the cake: when she comes to take our order, she does so with her mouth full and muttering. In short, it would be funny if we didn't have to pay at the end. It'll be a while before I return, hoping the kitchen mends its ways and the aforementioned woman changes jobs.
In response to the comment from what appears to be the owner: take a deep breath of humility. Even though the service was TERRIBLE, the waitress was respected by everyone at the table. And also, keep an eye on the dishes that come out.

01/03/2026: If you didn't pay the right price for service and drinks, you'd feel like you were eating at a friend's house, where you'd always find a family with noisy children, a couple, lifelong friends, and more. The atmosphere is as familiar as it gets, even for the diners, who often sit right next to you and can even have a quiet chat. But the real highlight of this osteria is undoubtedly the cuisine, which is a typical expression of what the region has to offer: you can eat truly homemade tortellini prepared by the local women, not to mention the delicious and flavorful rabbit, a dish that's rarely found on the menus of even the most upscale restaurants these days. Whenever I'm in the area, this osteria is a must-visit, where I can mingle with the real people of Forlì and savor traditional flavors at truly fantastic prices for the quality of the dishes.

The restaurant is welcoming, with a quiet and informal atmosphere, ideal for both a dinner with friends or an evening with your partner. The atmosphere is refined but not overly so, in perfect osteria style.
The menu offers well-executed traditional Romagna dishes, with generous portions and good-quality ingredients.
The service was friendly and helpful, with reasonable wait times. The prices are in line with the quality offered.
Overall, Osteria Amorosa is a pleasant place to eat well and spend an unpretentious evening.
