We stayed at this osteria for three days, in a group of several people, both colleagues and customers.
It's charming, intimate, and rustic, just what you'd expect from an osteria.
The food is excellent! Over the course of the day, we tried everything, from appetizers, tigelle and gnocco fritto, to cured meats and cheeses, various pastas, meats, and more; everything was always excellent.
The desserts are also excellent.
The atmosphere is lovely.
The staff is very friendly and professional.

Beautiful and evocative location: a former church, a former Carmelite convent, and a former post station, now an excellent osteria. A set lunch menu featuring traditional Bolognese dishes is also available. Attentive and fast service, even when the restaurant is full. An iron grate on the floor allows you to see the base of the church's ancient column and the previous level.

A very nice and tastefully restored place (I really like the idea of leaving all the cross vaults on the ceiling unplastered). The staff are all very professional and friendly. The food is really good (and the portions are generous!)… I really enjoyed the grilled vegetables, I recommend them. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality and quantity of the food. It's worth going there, even to experience a small fraction of the "lower" side of town…. 28.02.26: (UPDATE) I went back and found the staff less friendly and kind… the wait times were also long… too bad!

A lovely, characteristic restaurant in the countryside just outside Bologna. Excellent home-cooked lunch with homemade pasta dishes and excellent, tender tagliata (sliced steak). The final bill was reasonable.
Recommended. I recommend booking at least a week in advance.

This restaurant is located in a historic building, has a welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and attentive service. We've been there several times for dinner, and a few times for lunch, and the food has never disappointed. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
