30/03/2026: We chose bistecca la fiorentina from their menu and I must say it was delicious, as were the rosemary potatoes that accompanied the meat. The service was excellent. The tiramisu truly deserved the acclaim it received a couple of years ago.

25/03/2026: Seriously do not understand how this place does not have a 5⭐️ rating. I had scampi risotto and it was out of this world. Imagine home made food refined to a level of perfection. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and mostly Italian visitors. Cannot recommend it enough, thank you to the whole staff ❤️❤️❤️

05/04/2026: We waited an hour without being served. When it arrived, our T-bone steak was completely different from what I'm used to. After asking the waiter, they finally served it. Furthermore, the steak wasn't even hot.

04/04/2026: We made a reservation through an open KakaoTalk chat room and ordered the set menu for two, and it is the best value for money...! The meat at another restaurant yesterday was too tough, but I definitely acknowledge this place as a T-bone steak hotspot. I'm so glad I was able to eat a proper T-bone steak before leaving Florence! I recommend the T-bone steak over the pasta.

04/06/2026: I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of an Italian friend during my first trip to Florence. Even the local taxi driver told me, “This place is the real deal.” The traditional Tuscan dishes are exceptional, especially the pici all’aglione and cervello, both of which are absolutely worth trying. What makes this place truly special is its breathtaking setting. Surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside, it offers an atmosphere that simply cannot be experienced in the city center. The service is intentionally relaxed, allowing guests to slow down and fully enjoy the wine, the scenery, and the moment itself. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience. 02/06/2026: This has got to be the best restaurant experience I’ve got in Florence. The service was really good. The food was amazing we had the pasta gluten-free and they are really good with preventing cross contamination. And the desert was really good, especially the pistachio cheesecake the owner of this place Gabriel was really funny and talkative and he made the experience really good. This was my graduation and my girlfriend asked them to surprise me with a candlelit cake. She is amazing and Gabrielle took the assignment with all of his heart. He put on we are the champions music gave me a nice speech and he made a nice toast to me and congratulated me. Lastly, my girlfriend has eaten here multiple times before and she has always been very satisfied with service and with the food she is coeliac.

06/05/2026: I am sorry but the osso bucco was not good, it is supposed to be braised meat but the meat was hard to cut with a knife. Sent it back and the second plate was somewhat less hard to cut but not what braised meat is supposed to be. My husband had rosemary filet and the meat was really not tender at all. Service was great, wine was great and location is fabulous but we were really disappointed in the meal.

01/06/2026: A very simple Tuscan restaurant. The food is good and the price is reasonable. Their specialty is the fried fish, which is delicious. Plenty of tables, and they even set up a table in a festival tent. Best indoors or in the summer.

16/05/2026: We popped into this place for a quick bite for lunch. Best Pappa al Pomodoro we have had in Florence. Our waiter Vincenzo, was so helpful and funny. We enjoyed the food so much for lunch that we came back the following night for the Tuscan steak, which was fabulous. Of course Vincenzo was helping us again because everything looked so good! The atmosphere is quite nice and chill and not too small. The waiters were very warm and inviting which sadly is not everywhere. We loved the atmosphere and it looked like a lot of the locals eat there which is a good sign for us. I wish we had taken more pics of the food but our phones were dying. We would highly recommend!!!

16/05/2026: Every year, for years now, there's only one restaurant for us in Florence: Toto. High quality, only the best regional products, fantastic meat, the best grill master, and an incredibly friendly team, starting with the owner. Whether pasta, pizza, or bistecca alla Fiorentina, it's a wonderful way to relax in the heart of Florence, filled with enjoyment and warmth.

23/04/2026: Excellent option for those in the Coverciano, Fiesole, and Settignano areas. Quality food, traditional and made with local ingredients. Large portions of pasta, just the way I like them. The tastiest dish for me was the PEPOSO. Fairly priced.

25/04/2026: When we're in the mood for steak, this is our go-to restaurant. It's an hour and a half from home, but it's definitely worth it! The ingredients are excellent, and the atmosphere is homey. Highly recommended!

04/06/2026: We're a family of three with an almost 8-year-old child. I booked a table for dinner around 7:00 PM. As soon as we arrived, we saw the staff at the door, so, embarrassed, I joked about us being "the ones who dine early." The response was, "Don't worry, there are people who got there before you." We ordered a fried brain, a large fried dish, a burger with potatoes, a mixed salad, sautéed spinach, and a bottle of Sauvignon. The wine was warm. I told the waitress it was good but served at a temperature unsuitable for a white wine. She replied that the wine wasn't cold enough because the refrigerators were full of water and couldn't keep it cold properly. The food arrives... My son's burger wasn't bad, as were the fries. The brain was heavily breaded and full of oil, which I strictly rejected. My husband had the large fried dish, with the same problems. The best part is the side dishes. The salad (most likely the bagged one) was rotten and the spinach was dry. The fact is, we sent the dishes back without even touching them. Disappointed, we stood up to pay, and at the cashier they presented us with a preliminary bill of 92 euros... My husband said to the owner, "Yes, you can do better." The owner replied, "Why?" So we listed: the mulled wine, the used frying oil, the rotten salad, and the dry spinach... In response, the owner said, "You should have complained before." I replied that, if a professional sees dishes returned untouched, he should report it to the appropriate authorities and try to remedy the situation. We left with a bitter taste in our mouths and still hungry... now I understand why the dining room was full of foreigners, what a shame. Florentines can definitely do better.
