01/04/2025: An old Tuscan trattoria that retains the jovial tone that is part of its history. The food is excellent, it reminds us of what we ate at home, when grandmothers cooked and for this reason the portions are abundant. The staff is witty, but without overdoing it, the service is fast even with full tables. The price is still reasonable. In my four days in Florence I ate there three times. Don't change, please, I want to find you the same, when I return...

01/04/2025: We went twice for dinner during our stay in Florence, excellent value for money and abundance of dishes. Fast service and kind and courteous staff in serving the dishes. I recommend booking if there are many of you. The walls are all graffiti left by diners. The waiters are a bit goliardic so if you are touchy you are in the wrong place. The first evening we had crostini with black cabbage and poker of fried polenta with ragù and mushrooms, pici with bacon and dried tomatoes (out of this world) and Florentine steak, side dish of baked potatoes, wine and bitters are offered = 130 for two. The second time we had bruschetta with lard (it melted in your mouth) sexy coccetto (offal soup, tongue, breast, tripe, liver, lampredotto green sauce, and as a first course pappardella with wild boar (a bit thick as pasta) and pici with venison ragù. Total 65 for two with the half-bottle of the house. Well-made dishes and not at all touristy compared to those found in the center. From tornaci

07/03/2025: We happened to be in the area and found this small hidden gem. GREAT wine selection! We have arrived Tuscany! First meal is over the top delicious! Regional bottle of wine with 3 kinds of bread. Baked pears with bacon and peccarino cheese flan. Gnocchi with parmesan cheese sauce and salted bacon. Cheese Ravioli with wild boar Ragu. Pancotta with raspberry, blackberry and lingonberry coulis. 3 kinds of delicious bread and a bottle of wine ($25). Total was $75 with every euro.

11/03/2025: My boyfriend and I entered attracted by the name, we immediately found ourselves in a welcoming place that felt like home. The waiter was helpful, kind and friendly. We really enjoyed the delicious food, yum! The plates were clean at the end, I attach proof below. Highly recommended!

05/03/2025: Down an ally and down stairs you will find a great restaurant with pleasant staff who speak excellent English to guide you through your meal. Very tasty food and wine available in half bottles. The complimentary grappa and Amara Toscana at the end was much appreciated.

28/03/2025: Excellent service, quality food, good and served in truly abundant quantities. We had a Tullio appetizer that seemed never ending, slightly different from other typical Tuscan appetizers because it also included fried sage and other delicacies, and then the inevitable Prussiana. We left the restaurant happy and full.

25/03/2025: As for the ambience, I would have given it a 5 for my tastes, a "high-level trattoria" without frills and/or frills that catch the eye but then repay them either in the quality of the food or in the bill. The food 🔝🔝🔝 the fried steak is wonderful. The service was sociable and respectful and I really liked it for someone like me who was his "first". The price in line with all this.

14/03/2025: The best Ravioli I have ever had…we ordered the “Cheese and pear "Raviolino" with Parmigiano Reggiano cream” and the Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and basil for our entrees and then ordered another “Cheese and pear "Raviolino" with Parmigiano Reggiano cream” for dessert lol it is that good…I promise you will not be disappointed and you will be back for

The soft meat is so well cooked that it melted in your mouth. Delicious osso buco!!! Value for money among the highest I have found. Above all, I would like to underline the exceptional service with Giuseppe who welcomed us with great cordiality and professionalism. Ideal place for family lunches and dinners. Five well-deserved stars. Highly recommended.

22/03/2025: Typical Florentine trattoria. An excellence for those who want to eat authentic Tuscan food. The search for the highest quality foods makes refreshment its strong point. Wide quality of Tuscan and also national wines. I would say a more than fair price/quality ratio. Claudia the owner is always jovial and ready to give the best advice. Very careful about distancing provisions. The place is very clean and hygienically respectable.

19/03/2025: Dinner for two in this trattoria with a typical Florentine menu. We had an appetizer, two first courses, a second course and a side dish with house wine, we were very satisfied with both the food and the price! The landlady was kind and courteous, the environment was informal but welcoming. We were really satisfied!

08/03/2025: This was a wonderful place for dinner that is off the beaten path in the heart of Florence. Easy to get to, but it feels like you are away from the crowds. The restaurant wasn't quite open but they seated us anyway and took such good care of us. We loved the atmosphere and the staff was helpful and made some great recommendations. The food was good and we enjoyed our dinner.

07/03/2025: I went there for dinner after being recommended by the staff at the hotel I was staying at. I had been wanting to try Bottarga so I was very happy when I saw the name on the menu. The raviole contained rich cream and shrimp, and I enjoyed the texture. The bottarga on top was also fragrant and delicious when eaten with raviole. The homemade chocolate cake had an orange scent and was delicious. I ordered a red house wine. The taste was mellow and even I, a beginner in red wine, was able to drink it deliciously. I'm glad we had dinner here. The staff member was kind, taught me about seasonal foods, and responded quickly. The price was also reasonable. I'm very satisfied.
