12/05/2026: Food was excellent and the service was even better. The bread quality could’ve been better, but overall dining experience was great! I recommend trying the fish steak with a glass of tuscan chardonnay white wine.

20/05/2026: Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. I was honestly really shocked at the attitude of the waitress here who genuinely rolled her eyes and laughed at me when trying to order just drinks and dessert. She said she would need to ask the if it was okay with manager for us to not have dinner as well, who shrugged and said it would be fine. After telling her we just wanted to share a cake rather than get one each, she scoffed again and said “really, wow”. We were at a table for under 30 minutes and paid a cover charge of €2 each. If it was busy, maybe I could understand her frustration but we paid for the table and there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. We wanted to support a local restaurant but unfortunately the environment we experienced was hostile and uncomfortable. This waitress also had very little patience for the couple sitting next to us who were trying to translate the menu. If you only want people buying 3 course meals with drinks when your restaurant is already empty, put up a sign.

17/05/2026: My family and I went to this restaurant recommended by the hotel for lunch. The food is excellent, the service is good, and the location is welcoming. The price is fair overall.

17/05/2026: Highly recommended! We went there last Thursday and had a delicious meal. We were well served by Francesco (a guy with long black hair and a beard); he made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

04/06/2026: A place out of the ordinary, a little crazy but that's the beauty of it!! Friendly staff who joke and tease with irony!! Excellent wine, fantastic food!! Really very beautiful!!

04/06/2026: Hip trattoria serving authentic Tuscan fare with edgy staff. We did not have reservations and got there 5 minutes before it opened joining a queue anticipating the opening. We got a table, luckily, due to a last minute cancellation but had to finish dinner in 1.5 hours. Service was brisk, food was excellent and we finished with a minute to spare. As we left, our server joined us for a couple of Lemencello shots on the house!!

27/05/2026: I visited because a photographer recommended it, and it was really delicious! 👍 I highly recommend the T-bone steak. It is crispy on the outside and tender and melts in your mouth on the inside. There is absolutely no unpleasant smell, and it is truly tasty! Make sure to finish with the Tiramisu. The Tiramisu is the best I’ve had in Italy! Everything here is just the best! 👍👍👍

10/06/2026: We had dinner in the Piazzetta di Fiesole. Very charming. Fabulous food. The young staff was efficient and extremely kind.

11/05/2026: Nice restaurant, a little too close to the road, which is annoying when cars pass by, but fortunately there aren't many. Wide selection, a bit touristy, considering that they also feature truffle and porcini mushroom dishes, served year-round. Average prices. The staff were friendly and smiling, making it a pleasure to spend a few hours at this restaurant for lunch.

12/06/2026: The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was good. However, the house's famous gnocchi, which was the main reason for our visit, was disappointing. The dish was excessively loaded with olive oil, making it very heavy and cloying. Unfortunately, I couldn't even finish a third of the portion.

10/06/2026: This has been one of the restaurants I have eaten at most frequently over the last 10 years. It was mind blowing then, and it remains so, now. The only problem today is that everybody knows about it now! It's now become super popular, but is definitely worth the wait. The location is in the coolest piazza in Florence. It's in a local area with real spirit and energy. It's great to grab an aperitivo beforehand, then wait in the queue until your table is ready. The food here is the standout. Super fresh and delicious and something for everyone. Probably some of the best pastas in the city. If you're wanting perfect, 5 star service, you won't get it here. It's like eating at a friends house where their nonna is cooking out the back. It's extremely casual, sometimes chaotic, but always memorable, and everyone comes back for more. This place is a heart-stealer. Places like this remind you why you came to Italy.

11/05/2026: A restaurant not far from Santa Croce and Sant'Ambrogio, easily accessible on foot from the center of Florence. The atmosphere is quiet, and the menu is simple, featuring Tuscan dishes prepared with quality ingredients. Excellent value.

10/05/2026: I went for lunch on a Sunday with my parents, and the experience was very positive. The staff were very friendly, the service attentive and attentive, something hard to find. The food was good (we had pici all'aglione, pappappardelle al ragù, peposo, and vegetable flan), and the portions were generous. The house wine was appreciated. A good selection of vegetarian options, too. The prices were very fair for the city. My only complaint: the presentation of the dishes could be improved. I'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: We went to eat there because of the reviews and photos of their dishes. Our first visit was a disappointment, and we left very unhappy. The food was very basic, bland, and lacked any care. We ordered their spicy carbonara pasta (which wasn't spicy at all) and pasta with wild boar ragu. Everything was average, edible, but completely lacking in character. We cook and eat better at home. Of course, we won't recommend it. We felt misled by the reviews and photos, and the owners were very cold and unfriendly.

08/03/2026: The food was very good, but the service was rather cold. We had to ask for dessert and coffee, as no one came to offer them to us.

18/04/2026: Our first dinner in Florence was this great spot! Home cooking, great food, excellent staff, great atmosfere. 4 of us had, fried artichokes, octopus, fried calamari and shrimp, gnocchi with ragu, rabbit pappardelle and Peposa with a great bottle of Tuscan wine! Great food and staff.
