25/07/2026: This place was a treat from the moment we reached the front door. Stunning interior, beautifully dressed and engaging staff, dramatic and yet small kitchen fully exposed by floor-to-ceiling windows, exceptional china and perfect food. Fun, delicious and an all-around 10. Our party of four went for my 60th birthday and wouldn’t change a thing. We loved it! I only wish I were more of a snap while eating person but I did get a few pics. When in Florence, this gem is a must!

18/07/2026: Wonderful dining experience in the heart of Florence, located in a tiny and quiet alley just two steps away from Ponte Vecchio. The combinations of ingredients for each dish blend perfectly together and it offers both the menu degustazione of 5 dishes or option 'a la carte' with a minimum order of 3. Professional staff and quiet atmosphere, highly recommended for a special occasion dinner

20/07/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant during a family trip and was surprised when I ordered "Un Primo Piatto a Scelta" with Gnocchi, a dish that I highly recommend, seriously, I think it was the best gnocchi I've ever eaten in my entire life! The portion is enough to feed two or even three people, depending on their appetite; the waitress, despite not speaking a word of English and me being the same with Italian, was super attentive and dedicated herself to serving us and making us comfortable. The restaurant has a moderate but comfortable space to accommodate several people, in addition to having a very cozy, grandma's house vibe.

09/07/2026: I went for the first time last night, and oh my, I had a great time. Maybe I ate a little too much, but the starters were out of control, really good, as was the steak; it tasted like butter in my mouth. The homey atmosphere was really nice; I felt like I was going to dinner at my mom's. I can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu.

11/05/2026: Nice restaurant, a little too close to the road, which is annoying when cars pass by, but fortunately there aren't many. Wide selection, a bit touristy, considering that they also feature truffle and porcini mushroom dishes, served year-round. Average prices. The staff were friendly and smiling, making it a pleasure to spend a few hours at this restaurant for lunch.

20/05/2026: Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. I was honestly really shocked at the attitude of the waitress here who genuinely rolled her eyes and laughed at me when trying to order just drinks and dessert. She said she would need to ask the if it was okay with manager for us to not have dinner as well, who shrugged and said it would be fine. After telling her we just wanted to share a cake rather than get one each, she scoffed again and said “really, wow”. We were at a table for under 30 minutes and paid a cover charge of €2 each. If it was busy, maybe I could understand her frustration but we paid for the table and there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. We wanted to support a local restaurant but unfortunately the environment we experienced was hostile and uncomfortable. This waitress also had very little patience for the couple sitting next to us who were trying to translate the menu. If you only want people buying 3 course meals with drinks when your restaurant is already empty, put up a sign.

This place was exactly the authentic escape we were hoping for, tucked far away from the chaotic tourist crowds and delivering genuine local flavors without a single tourist-trap gimmick. We snagged an amazing two-person deal (12€) that offered unbelievable value: generous, hearty portions paired with exquisite, true-to-Italy taste. The pasta was divine, the lasagna rich and perfectly layered, and the wine and desserts were the cherry on top. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the staff, warm, wonderfully patient, and genuinely attentive from start to finish. If you're craving a cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere with food that feels like a warm hug, I cannot recommend this place enough. Run, don't walk!"

The setting is unique, perfect for an evening away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoying dishes that awaken the palate. Thank you, and see you next time.
