19/11/2025: I happened to stop by and had a delicious meal. Florence is a tourist town, so I don't remember having a particularly good meal, but visiting this restaurant changed my mind. The pasta in the second photo is the basil tomato pasta, and wow... it was truly delicious. The ingredients blended well together, and the texture of the pasta was wonderful. The first photo is the wild boar pasta. It wasn't anything special, but it had a familiar flavor and was delicious. If I ever go back to Florence, I'd love to come back and try some of the other dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly. The best. . I visited again in November. I had such a great meal that I brought my mom back. The staff were just as friendly, and the food was delicious as always. My mom also loved the Choi Gong Pasta. I wanted to tell the owner about this, but he seemed very busy, so I just said "I enjoyed it" and left. It's a shame, but I look forward to seeing you again. Stay healthy, boss!

17/11/2025: From the start, it's clear it's a good place, with lots of people and many restaurants. The waitress was lovely. She chatted with us, was attentive, and was constantly on the go. The food... we opted for typical Tuscan dishes. The tortelli with ragu were delicious, and especially the beef stew with Chianti, or Peposo Toscano, was incredible. For dessert, the tiramisu was very, very good, and we tried the best cantucci of the trip, with Vin Santo for dipping. Everything was excellent.

17/11/2025: A great place in Florence for Florentine-style wood-fired steak! (T-bone) The setting is that of an inn (osteria) and the service is attentive.

30/11/2025: My favorite place!! It's always a guarantee, the typical Tuscan food is truly delicious, the atmosphere is very welcoming... every time we feel pampered by Simone... I recommend it to everyone with all my heart!

26/11/2025: A charming location. It was raining and cold outside, but inside the lights were warm and soft, and the fireplace was lit right in the room where we dined. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and discreet. The appetizer was tasty and generous enough to share. The pizza was really good, cooked well, perfectly thin, and with a texture that, in my opinion, was perfect: just the right amount of crispiness, not at all soft and heavy. Those who ordered the meat said it could be cut with a spoon... medium-high price, I recommend trying it.

05/12/2025: Traditional Italian food with a hip vibe, cheerful staff and alternative interior. I enjoyed my Tripi Florentine style and tomatoe bread soup!!! Never tried before and absolutely loved it. Both dishes are very filling. I would have been completely satisfied with either of the two.

15/11/2025: Classic...family-style...traditional...excellent...Tuscan cuisine. A small...charming...pleasant atmosphere. Attentive...courteous...welcoming service. Truly excellent dishes (excellent pici all'aglione....sublime Francesina with onions....) A must-visit place if you come to Certaldo.

27/10/2025: we get there by chance! We got one of the best pasta dishes while enjoying a local and traditional atmosphere. You need to try their pasta al "chichibio" - fungi, salchicha and tartufo!

08/12/2025: A Hidden Gem in Florence We had an amazing dinner at Hostaria Il Desco. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, perfectly paired with a great selection of wines. The interior is warm and charming, with rustic details that create a cozy, authentic Florentine atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Truly a hidden gem — highly recommended!

01/12/2025: We had a fantastic dinner here for my birthday. The service was outstanding and the food was creative and delicious. The restaurant is also very nice and cozy.

06/12/2025: The risotto was tastier than it looked, and I recommend eating the T-bone steak with the risotto. The T-bone steak should be cooked medium well. I also recommend the tomato gnocchi over the truffle gnocchi.

08/12/2025: A Florentine trattoria serving Florentine dishes, all perfectly executed, at more than fair prices is almost impossible. I say almost only because Ruggero is there. A steak for 5 euros per 100 grams in Florence at a historic restaurant in that location is eye-watering. Then you taste it and rub your taste buds. Anyway, I told him as much when we left when it came time to get the bill on Friday night, and I'm confirming it here, so it's an incentive to keep going as long as possible.

The atmosphere was great 👍 The swordfish carpaccio, paired with salad greens, fresh fennel, and pink grapefruit, was exquisite — the peppercorns added a delightful burst of flavor with each bite. The main course, Millefoglie di Cecina, a refined tower of codfish layered with chickpeas, spinach, and a velvety purple cabbage purée, proved to be another remarkable surprise The beef tenderloin, paired with foie gras, created a perfect harmony of flavors on the palate

13/11/2025: Really excellent place. Real pearl. During our visit to Florence me and my wife went to Osteria Santo Spirito twice. First time for dinner and during our last day we went there for lunch. Food is excellent, service is good and there is also this really cool vibe. It is a good idea to book in advance! Recommend it!
