Trattoria La Casalinga In Firenze

The trattoria has a trattoria vibe, lots of people, lots of good energy. Tables covered with cloth tablecloths and parchment paper. I recommend making a reservation, even though there are so many rooms and so many seats. People (tourists and locals) have a full meal, which means more time at the tables, enhanced by a great atmosphere. Even the bartender is attentive and helps you when you're looking for the bathroom. Very friendly. I ordered the daily special, excellent pot roast, also very good tiramisu, and an espresso. Special mention for the photo of the "cuoca" (cook) that I heard is there. May 14, 2026

I'm from Mexico, and I went for dinner on a Thursday. I tried to make a reservation that same day, but I didn't get a response, so I recommend trying to book in advance. I went anyway and had to wait about 20 minutes, even though I asked for a table inside because it was a bit chilly outside. I saw that they were giving blankets to those outside. I don't speak Italian, but with the help of a translator, I managed to make myself understood, and the waiter was very helpful with his recommendations. (I highly recommend speaking Spanish if you're from Mexico and don't know Italian.) I tried gnocchi with truffle, duck, three different wines recommended by the waiter, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious. It's a place that looks very touristy, but it's definitely worth visiting. I paid approximately 1700 Mexican pesos; I don't remember the price in euros. P.S.: We are a lesbian couple, and at no point did we feel uncomfortable, watched, or mistreated. I hope this information is helpful to someone 🩷🤍🧡
