Another must-visit spot in Florence. I found it thanks to local recommendations. This establishment has long served the local community. Obviously, Google Maps and TripAdvisor have also promoted it for tourists. Here, you'll feel like you're in a real trattoria. You'll feel the spirit of an Italian mama. Both dishes and dessert were worth the walk from northern Florence! The service was great, but lacked that Italian spirit and cheerfulness, but only minimally. Perhaps because they were tired of the crowds rushing to them from the Palazzo Pitti.

The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Depending on the day, they have a different menu. Lots of locals come to eat here and its a very charming place to eat. Making a reservation is advised.

This place is wonderful. We went there twice on our visit to Florence and it’s amazing food and lovely staff and the Aperol spritz is the best we’ve ever tasted.

We tried at least one restaurant each of the 5 days we were in Florence. They all have more or less the same menu. This restaurant’s menu has entries not found in other places. And the food was good and the service friendly. It is one of our two favorites from the area. Will go back again if we’d stayed longer.

01/06/2026: A very simple Tuscan restaurant. The food is good and the price is reasonable. Their specialty is the fried fish, which is delicious. Plenty of tables, and they even set up a table in a festival tent. Best indoors or in the summer.

24/07/2026: It was delicious, especially the ricotta and spinach gnudis. The service was also excellent, the atmosphere was great, the prices were a little high but nothing serious, the wine was good and I highly recommend it because I went twice and it was very good.
