31/07/2026: Amazing meal - simple yet unique. It was unexpectedly one of top two meals we had in Tuscany! Highly recommend the dishes we ordered: the pistachio mille feuille, green pasta with almonds and lamb chops. We were so surprised that the former two are vegan. We ordered 2x of both dishes 😆 Tip: book far in advance and request for a table next to the vineyard for the view.

08/08/2026: This place left us speechless. The food was truly sublime; you could taste the love and care put into every flavor on the plate. Nonna Tosca's ragù was unique, and the cacio e pepe with pears and truffle was truly indescribable. We then had the chocolate cake, which melted in our mouths. The service was attentive and friendly, and the location was very pretty and relaxing (especially the outdoor area). I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant; you won't regret it.

05/08/2026: Great ravioli with fresh pear and truffle, steak and portatoes and the best red wine during our 3 week stay in Italy! My fourth visit in 18 years.

12/08/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this trattoria last night and were pleasantly surprised. Everything about the food we ordered exceeded our expectations: the high-quality ingredients used and the variety on the menu (which also included several vegetarian options). The welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere gave a touch of authenticity to the dinner, which we truly appreciated.

05/07/2026: I have to say, it's a truly wonderful place, surrounded by Tuscan nature, elegant enough, fresh, and relaxing! I must say the pizza is excellent. The service is provided by young, very kind waiters. A few mistakes are allowed, but seeing the young people's good will is truly appreciable! The price is right... I'll be back every week!

05/04/2026: We are lucky to have a restaurant such as this close to where we live. The food is "ottimo" and the "Borromeo" Chianti Classico riserva 2021 from the own estate is a delicious very well made powerhouse. Service, the beautifully laid out ristorante, everything is totally on par and tasteful. Next time it will be a bit warmer, so then we will dine outdoors: we will also be able to enjoy the beautiful views of the valley. For the 30th of may we have already booked a "pranzo" and a tasting of the estate wines to enjoy with the family that is coming over from NL and the USA. This was (and will be) the ultimate Italian (dining) experience!

29/03/2026: My husband and I just stayed 5 nights here in March and wow, wow, wow!! We are so impressed with the service, the stay, and the views! The rooms were so beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating — Claudia helped with breakfast each morning and always was so kind in setting up a table on the patio for us and making our coffees, and the staff were kind to give us silverware and plates for some snacks we had brought back. Breakfast always had plenty of options and fresh pastries, fruits, eggs, etc. We absolutely hope to return again one day. Also can’t say enough about the location - very central and convenient for day trips into Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and other surrounding towns. San Casciano in Val di Pesa is also a lovely town with everything you need - grocery, gelato, restaurants, etc! The restaurant wasn’t open for the season yet, so we will HAVE to come back!!!

28/05/2026: It’s closed, almost abandoned? A shame as there’s no information, the website and phone do not work. We were married here 2 years ago, it would be nice to know when and if it is opening again? The food and grounds will be missed.

08/08/2026: I ate well; the staff is a bit slow but friendly. The only serious problem for those arriving on motorcycles is the parking lot being too steep. Mine fell off. They helped me, and luckily nothing happened, but a warning to motorcyclists is needed.

14/08/2026: We were there yesterday 13/8 for dinner, the service was excellent, the staff made you feel at ease and the food was good, luckily for me we live nearby so we will be happy to come back

06/08/2026: Good dishes, but light on salt and very greasy/fatty. Unfortunately, they allow smoking at the tables very close together on the veranda.
