26/07/2025: a friend of mine who is from here recommended this restaurant to me and it was the best experience i have had in florence. the food was exceptional, staff so friendly. absolutely loved that it was all locals and getting high quality food.

26/07/2025: Guys!! What a wonderful experience at this Tuscan osteria, found by chance while looking for a place to eat. Well, marble tables, comfortable osteria chairs; we ordered wild boar and a tagliata with side dishes. The wild boar Marammana was spectacular, and I won't even mention the tagliata. House wine. Excellent house wine (well, it's an osteria).

06/08/2025: The pizza was boring; it could have come from the frozen food section of the nearest supermarket. Prices were unreasonable for what you got. Antipasti and pizza are NOT recommended. The pasta was okay.

04/08/2025: My husband and I were leaving Florence the day that we visited, and frankly it was the perfect end to a good trip. The food was sone of the best we'd tasted, and we can't wait to get back to Florence specifically to come back to Osteria Nuvoli, preferably more than once.

21/07/2025: The garlic tomato pasta here is honestly the most unique and delicious dish I’ve had during my entire trip in Italy! Unlike the typical tomato pastas I’ve tried elsewhere, this one stands out with its fresh garlic and rich tomato flavor—it’s a perfect combination! Both my mom and I absolutely loved it. We also tried the tomato stewed tripe, which was good, but not as impressive as the pasta. I highly recommend trying their garlic tomato pasta—it’s a truly delightful surprise!

20/07/2025: The steak at this restaurant was a tender delicacy with impeccable service. The waitress even recommended us against our previous choice of choosing the 1.5kg T-bone as it "wouldn't cook well". And much to our amazement, we were served with 1.3kg of aromatic bliss. Would definitely visit again.

06/07/2025: Evening with friends, stop on the path of the Gods, a spectacular Florentine steak, it melted like butter. Too bad it's far from home.

04/07/2025: We went there three times in one week because we loved it so much. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. The food is delicious and well-presented. Don't hesitate to ask for advice, as portion sizes vary greatly depending on the dish.

04/07/2025: Very welcoming and nice place, super friendly staff, I had booked on the site, by calling I was very kind to anticipate the booking time so I could have dinner an hour earlier, the guys in the dining room were super prepared, kind and fast, excellent quality of products, quality price more than excellent, very good gluten free menu, highly recommended, congratulations, I will be back 100%.

31/07/2025: Good food, friendly staff. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I didn't find it fair that we ordered a Florentine steak and they didn't show us the weight or present the steak before cooking, as is usually done in other trattorias, restaurants, etc. So we paid on faith for 1.60kg of Florentine steak, which also seemed less... But who knows for sure?!

29/07/2025: Trattoria Angiolino, a sure thing. If you want to eat mutton, this is the place for you. The penne with ragù is phenomenal. If you want to stay slim and avoid carbs, you can also eat it stewed, as it's the same one used for the pasta dishes. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo, but we also had the fried brains, a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy with a light batter that didn't ruin the dish. Last but not least, the homemade tiramisu was very, very good. Trattoria-style service, which never hurts, especially in a rustic place like this. I will definitely be back!

11/08/2025: My fiancée and I had the most incredible time at Il Profeta. Claudio, his wife, and the entire staff made our experience unforgettable, and the food was phenomenal. We cannot wait to return again ASAP! Also, they were also extremely accommodating with regard to my severe shellfish allergy.

06/08/2025: The view is splendid but the mushrooms were wormy and they were crawling on the plate on the meat. No goodwill gesture was made.

22/07/2025: First of all, I advise anyone who chooses this restaurant not to come via the Cinque Vie and up the extremely narrow and steep Monteripaldi alley, especially if you're driving an SUV, as you risk scraping the walls. And if you take the wrong turn, it's extremely difficult to reverse. It's much better to reach it from Viale dei Colli, taking an easy detour along a much less winding and wider road. The historic restaurant offers a good view of Florence, nothing more, but it's more of a small trattoria than a restaurant. You enter through a small shop-like door, and indeed, right away, you're greeted by a delicatessen and grocery counter. However, the decor isn't the best, the table setting leaves much to be desired and could use a refresh, and the service is, to put it mildly, extremely slow (few, in fact, only two waiters). This exasperating slowness is the restaurant's real flaw. For such a historic restaurant, there were very few people and many tables were empty, and the dining room is anything but large. In short, there's a feeling of tiredness, and there's no sense of a special occasion; in short, Omero has become a bit anonymous. The food? Good but not unforgettable: generous Tuscan appetizers, flavorful first courses rich in sauce (penne, pici, etc.), tender sliced beef, fried chicken and rabbit, and pleasant side dishes; the desserts are a bit subdued. Overall, the price isn't expensive, but average.

22/07/2025: Closed all week 21-27 July. Just a note on the door when google said they were open for lunch today. We drove here just to eat at this restaurant.

05/08/2025: A very nice restaurant where we had a great meal. We tried the Tuscan charcuterie platter and the eggplant carpaccio for starters, then we tried the wild boar and polenta and really enjoyed it. We had the cheesecake for dessert. The cuisine is entirely homemade, and it shows. The service is excellent. We were warmly welcomed with a smile. The restaurant offers a wide selection of wines. This is a place we highly recommend.

29/07/2025: Going to this restaurant was such an amazing experience. The interior design is lovely. The staff served us in a very nice and professional way. But still, the highlight was the food. The bistecca and truffle beans were heavenly good. Also, my girlfriend arranged this night for my birthday and requested to have a prosecco upon arrival. They fulfilled our request and even gave the prosecco for free as a birthday gift. Absolute 10/10 experience.

28/07/2025: Nice restaurant, friendly staff considering the busy holiday season. We waited a bit before being seated despite having reservations, but I can understand why, as there weren't enough waiters for the number of customers. The Peposo al Sangiovese was excellent.
