15/05/2026: The trattoria has a trattoria vibe, lots of people, lots of good energy. Tables covered with cloth tablecloths and parchment paper.
I recommend making a reservation, even though there are so many rooms and so many seats.
People (tourists and locals) have a full meal, which means more time at the tables, enhanced by a great atmosphere.
Even the bartender is attentive and helps you when you're looking for the bathroom.
Very friendly.
I ordered the daily special, excellent pot roast, also very good tiramisu, and an espresso.
Special mention for the photo of the "cuoca" (cook) that I heard is there.

19/05/2026: First time at this restaurant for lunch, for a birthday. To get there, you pass through Badia a Passignano and have to take a stretch of dirt road, but it all puts you in the countryside mood. The food and the friendliness of the staff are excellent, always courteous and helpful.
As for my experience, I also had the pleasure of enjoying it on a Sunday in May, with sunshine and perfect temperatures, which made it even more enjoyable.

12/05/2026: A beautiful, welcoming place with an arched brick ceiling, rustic wooden tables, and good service. We tried "Totani di bosco" (fried tripe strips served with a sweet and sour sauce) and pici with white ragù. Good value.

09/05/2026: Chef Marco and his team made one of the best meals my girlfriend and I have had in recent memory. Sometimes Michelin stars are disappointment and overhyped, but I have to say this place was warm, inviting, and felt approachable and cozy right away. The service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the wine went with everything. Definitely go here when you visit Florence.
26/04/2026: My wife and I dined here during an anniversary trip to Florence. We both selected the chef’s recommended 5-course mostly fish menu and enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives.
Each dish was artfully presented and tasted amazing. Everything about the meal was carefully curated from the intimate and comfortable space, the custom made bowl that mirrored the ceiling design, the Billie Holiday vocals whispering softly in the background, the automatic glass door separating the kitchen from the dining area, and, of course, the.delicious food.
Our waiter Giuseppe was a delight and recommended a wonderful wine that nicely complemented the meal. It was a perfect evening.

07/06/2026: I loved this small place in Florence. I called to book in advance as I read that it is difficult to get a table but I managed to get one.
I was in Florence for business and I can say that I enjoyed a nice dinner on my own.
Excellent quality and good price. You can order a bottle of wine and if you don’t drink it full, then they will charge you for the portion of what you drank.

20/05/2026: I have to say that compared to the last time, several years ago now, I had a good time.
The service is very professional and well-organized.
The dishes were well-prepared, well-seasoned, and with appropriate portions.
The price was reasonable, with the receipt delivered promptly, without the farce/mockery of a pre-bill!

08/06/2026: The restaurant is quaint and authentically decorated—though very small and cramped. The prices are reasonable for Florence, though not exactly cheap.
The food was truly excellent: the wild boar Bolognese and the lasagna were both delicious—no complaints there.
Unfortunately, the service significantly detracts from the overall experience. The staff seems unfriendly and disinterested. The food is placed on the table without a word; a simple "Prego" is nowhere to be found. You constantly feel like you're being rushed through your meal.
If you're looking for good food without any regard for atmosphere or friendliness, you'll be satisfied—but if you're expecting a pleasant evening, look elsewhere.

31/05/2026: The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff was attentive. Highly recommend the Peposo (slow braised beef) and the Sea Bass. If you're looking for something more simple, the Tagliolini (fresh made pasta) with butter and truffle also was fantastic. Molto Bene!

09/05/2026: We ate divinely; if I could give more stars, I would. The wild boar pappardelle was thick and flavorful, and the Florentine steak was exceptional. Special mention for the desserts, with traditional flavors but impeccably crafted. Recommended.
04/05/2026: Coming off a victorious away match in Arezzo, we couldn't miss out on a Fiorentina steak, so—thanks to a clever idea from one of us—we booked here. Fiorentina steak was expertly prepared, tender, and melted in the mouth. Freshly prepared and served on sizzling hot plates to retain its heat. Roast potatoes and beans all'uccelletta served as a side dish. An excellent house Chianti was served with the side dish. A great victory and a dinner like this don't happen every day, so I was almost moved.
A wonderful experience, definitely worth returning for. Greetings from Vicenza. 🇵🇪

02/05/2026: Every time my parents go to Florence, they stop at this restaurant for lunch because of their delicious meat. After trying it, I can confirm the quality of the food and the hospitality. I highly recommend this place. They have an interesting dessert menu and a wine list that matches the type of cuisine they offer. The location is central and the place is large.

16/05/2026: The picis were really very good, al dente, and the tomato sauce was a 10/10!
The meat is very high quality. The steak tartare, however, was bland and tasteless! On the phone, I was told the restaurant was booked solid for up to three months – strange, as two-thirds of the tables remained empty, and we were there from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM! Not recommended; you can get similar picis in town with a good wine.
07/05/2026: Ristorante la Reggia degli Etruschi could not be more perfect. The food is as spectacular as the views over Florence but the people that run the restaurant are the stars of the show. Thank you Leo and all your staff for a wonderful evening. We’ll see you again 10/10

14/04/2026: We stopped by chance and...we truly felt at home. A typical atmosphere, traditional Tuscan cuisine, and the two ladies in charge are wonderful. What can I say about the pappardelle with white sauce and mushrooms, and my pici with sausage and pumpkin. An excellent Chianti, and this place has gained two new customers. Bravo ❤️ from the bottom of my heart.
