11/11/2024: Sucedimos en este lugar mientras estábamos de paseo por la noche en Florencia. Estábamos buscando algo diferente para la cena. ¡Fue excepcional! Su compañero tenía el pulpo y le encantaba. Tenía el Linguine con almejas y estaba delicioso. Teníamos un lado de verduras a la parrilla que eran perfectos. El servicio fue excepcional y el vino delicioso. Haremos un punto para volver el próximo año durante nuestra excursión anual a Florencia.

30/10/2024: Everything was cooked to perfection and everything was delicious. Best restaurant in our entire trip to Italy. Seafood salad, steak, everything was good. Terrible shame, we went on a rainy day at around 7 and there was only a single other pair of diners. This place was very good.

04/02/2025: We come from the land south of the rising sun. Best meal from our trip in Italy. 1) The waiter was friendly, warm and funny. He recommended to order the roast beef, and as I tasted it, my mouth basically cried of joy. 2) whoever’s idea it was to add liqueur to gelato, and orange zest to chocolate cake, they deserve a statue in their name 3) the atmosphere was simply amazing

11/02/2025: Everything is really good even if for me the specialty remains the fried fish in the mains. In my opinion the only venial sin is the slightly too anxious service. You are asked too many times and too early if you like the food, if everything is fine, too much urgency even in collecting the dishes as soon as you finish consuming the dishes. In this way the gap between care for the customer and pressure on the customer risks becoming short. Apart from this it is a place to definitely return and to be recommended to those who love simple and traditional cuisine.

09/03/2025: Love the food here, 2 years back and it's still very good. Come early it gets quite full. Quite possibly the best bruschetta here in Firenze. I enjoy the outdoor atmosphere during the Sunday Market.

08/03/2025: Overpriced nonsense. If you want a child‘s portion and overpaying, then you found your place. I complained about the portion size and one waitress tried to defend it saying it’s the right size and then later on a different waiter came up to me and agreed that the portions are small. Talk about location exploitation.

01/03/2025: Really good food. Somewhat on the pricier end but we ordered a steak. It was incredibly good, as was the cacio e pepe. Would recommend getting a reservation. It was really good.

I had the fried chicken, they don't debone it here, maybe it was a little bland, I certainly wouldn't go back for that, side vegetables: porcini mushrooms which to me seemed to be frozen, ditto the potatoes and artichokes, silly, they still had the harder outer skins, which isn't nice to handle... in short

02/04/2025: Friends' table: Spanish Chianina and Simmenthal steak, reserve Chianti jeroboam. Side dishes of potatoes, artichokes and fried mushrooms. Everything was excellent, even the service. Adequately substantial price.

19/03/2025: Typical Tuscan cuisine, frequented by Florentines, the style is that of the old Oltrarno trattoria, the traditional dishes are made with old recipes that enhance the flavors, generous portions, in short good, abundant and popular prices. Good cellar.

15/02/2025: Seemed like a really nice restaurant. Not allowed to have just drinks. I was informed that this a restaurant. I was forced to leave before I could finish my drink. The owner is very rude. Also there were only 3 tables out of probably 20 that where occupied. He seems to be only rude restaurant I had experienced in Florence. Would not recommend.

23/03/2025: Costola di scottona molto morbida e cotta alla perfezione, tagliatelle al ragu e burrata pasta fresca e servite bene. Tutto condito da un buon chianti.

01/03/2025: Trattoria where you don't eat the usual dishes you find in Florence, you can still find typical dishes of Campigian cuisine. We tasted first courses, penne alla pecora and pappardelle with duck; second courses, fried brain and stewed sheep; dessert, pancakes and grandma's cake, all really excellent. Good portions! The service could be improved, serious staff, they didn't ask for feedback, however the service at the table was quick. Convenient parking. Affordable prices. To return

22/03/2025: Typical Tuscan trattoria furnished with care, even though there were a lot of people the service is fast and the waits are right. There is a standard menu composed of Tuscan specialties and in addition there are the specials of the day to choose from. I had a good time!

10/03/2025: Not been here for around two years, but staying in Lucca and decided on a day trip to Florence, so several choices for lunch, but this is the most relaxed. Nothing (thankfully) has changed, good friendly service, well priced and good traditional menu and wine list, just a great stop for lunch or supper. The atmosphere is traditional with an open view of the kitchen, each dish is individually prepared and cooked to perfection. A privilege to have the opportunity to visit. And a wine window opposite, after 20 odd years of coming it was a surprise discovery.

01/04/2025: Incredibly rude staff. Had a late night reservation and they literally said “the chef is waiting on you” 3 minutes after handing us the menu. Food was ok but you can find food just as good elsewhere. Don’t support this place.
