23/05/2026: Excellent dinner! The lasagna is incredible. Try any of their steak dishes... the are delicious. House wine was much better than expected.. ordered half litter to try.. ended up drinking the entire 1.5L. (Family of 4). 😃

22/05/2026: Came here for dinner after a fren’s recommendation. This place is packed! Even for early non-Italian dining hours eg 630-730pm entrance. The reason is crowded is becos it serve wholesome Italian food and very reasonable price. So can’t complain… good food + great prices = large crowds. Pls note that they have 2 outlets within a street apart.

There were challenges between waitresses, which created tension in the atmosphere when you really go there to relax and feel a pleasant environment. The food was okay, but marred by such a bad experience.

The atmosphere is truly pleasant and refined, perfect for making a great impression and chatting peacefully. The dinner was exceptional: every course, from appetizer to main course, was simply exquisite, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented. But I want to give special praise to the service: a young woman took care of our table impeccably. She was extremely kind, very knowledgeable, and explained everything to us in detail with a smile. Finding such young, passionate, and attentive staff really makes a difference. Highly recommended!

The wine was excellent, it went down beautifully!! The meat wasn't even that good. Precisely because once wasn't enough, I went back again, and we'll definitely be back!

The service was genuinely friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the prices were lower than I expected for the area — easy on the wallet for a family meal. The food, unfortunately, was the weak link. The pasta dish was meh, and the chicken arrived as a plate of fried everything with no real flavor to speak of. Nothing was inedible, but nothing stood out either. If you’re looking for a cheap, low-key meal with friendly service, it’s an option. For a memorable dinner, keep looking.

31/03/2026: We walked in at 1900 and got a table… no waiting and no reservations. We are not locals but treated us like family. Just amazing time and great food. Highly recommend it. Wish we could go back and try something else. I love small menus!

06/11/2025: In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi. An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

29/10/2025: The BEST Gluten free pizza in town. Alex I lovely! Really attentive and did his best to make sure we ate well. I hadn’t eaten Oizza for such a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Pizza. Grande Alex!

06/06/2026: We discovered Ristorante da Padellina by chance because we spent a night in the Strada area during our tour of the Chianti region. The place is very spartan, but that's precisely its beauty. The walls are adorned with various objects of very different genres and styles. I particularly enjoyed reading the "reviews" left by other customers who had dined here before us. The Florentine steak is cooked to perfection, and to accompany it, their roast potatoes in a ghiotta pan are a must. The potatoes are cooked in the oven underneath the roasts, then seasoned with all the sauce released by the meat.

05/05/2026: Stop by! The traditional menu and top-quality ingredients are worth more than a taste! The meat, of course, never disappoints, but the other dishes are equally impressive, especially the black truffle. Excellent value! We'll be back!

04/05/2026: I naively trusted what was presented to me as a Florentine steak. I said okay. Luckily, someone took a photo, and my friends noticed the lack of fillet and T-bone in general. We pointed this out before the meat was served (it arrived a good 15 minutes later). They candidly admitted it and tried several times to turn the conversation around: "Since we said okay, we'll get the rib-eye steak at the price of a Florentine steak," or "If I tell you the T-shirt is a down jacket and you buy it as a down jacket, it's your fault," and so on. In the end, they granted a whopping €24 discount on 3.8 kg of meat sold for €50 and €60 (we had mixed steak with the Prussian steak, which costs more). Meanwhile, I noticed some amusing quotes from B.M.: the picture was complete and finally clear. I wouldn't go back just because of their mean behavior towards a group of amused Milanese people.

07/06/2026: We arrived tired from a thousand museum visits and were greeted with smiles and kindness. The traditional food was excellent, as was the meat. Even the menu honors their slightly playful spirit, despite the impeccable service. I highly recommend it; the area is also very beautiful and very close to the busy center.
