01/04/2025: Incredibly rude staff. Had a late night reservation and they literally said “the chef is waiting on you” 3 minutes after handing us the menu. Food was ok but you can find food just as good elsewhere. Don’t support this place.

01/04/2025: Good restaurant on sp8, large public parking. Well-kept place and great view. Possibility of fixed price menu 15€ but with only two choices between first and second courses. Then there is the à la carte menu… and excellent meat.

01/04/2025: We stumbled upon this place in the area after trying to visit 2 restaurants that were marked as open but in reality closed down. Bad luck sometimes leads to fortunate outcomes, and this was one of those events. 10/10 food, incredible steaks, great pasta and lovely service. If you're in the Florence area with a car I could not recommend this place enough even if it is a bit out of the way. (We were taking a scenic route back to Florence from Modena)

02/04/2025: I don't understand why the place has a rather low rating, completely inconsistent with the high level of food. We just came for dinner without knowing the rating of the place and without any expectations. We ordered beef a-la Fiorentino, rare. Great. Delicious. The Chianti is great. The classy man, taking the order, was very polite, friendly and competent. As a person, who is more than spoiled when it comes to food, I highly recommend this restaurant. Really.

30/03/2025: Recommended by locals, we sit down to eat Pappardelle with wild boar and artichoke risotto, burrata and cherry tomatoes The pappardelle was flaccid and the risotto was served without burrata All with the waiters who were in a hurry to clear our plates

10/03/2025: I could start by saying spectacular but I’ll rather place as unforgettable. We went there on a Saturday night and the place was pristine, well organised, clean, and overall spotless. We sat immediately and our waiter explained us the two menu options, one is meat based the other fish based. The whole table went for fish as the menu descriptions already let us wanting more. Out waiter first explained we could mix and match items from both menus which is great. I was really interested in the risotto from the meat menu, then chef came over our table and told me he would see about my request as he didnt think that would work for sequence of the tasting. However he found a way to fit that risotto not only for me, but, to our surprise to the whole table. It's now 2 days since we ate there and honestly I wont forget that risotto! Eating at Ora d'Aria was a pleasure, it was a magic experience in the world of tastes and excellent service. And just when I thought I saw everything we got our dessert and honestly it was to die for! The simplicity of the dish and the taste of heaven are memories I'll carry with me forever or until I manage to eat next at Ora d'Aria. This place was utterly calm and tranquil, the music was such a vibe for a restaurant and the toilets were incredibly spacious and clean. The place is right at the centre of town and yet manage to preserve a cosy and warm environment. If you are looking for honest tasteful flavours just book your spot here.

25/02/2025: Wow!! Coming from London where we are blessed with many restaraunts and having quite high food standards, we were very impressed with the food and the service. We were able to select our own tasting menu (does not need the whole table to have the same food) which is great so we could try everything they had to offer. Note that they only do red/white bottles by the bottle, but they were able to suggest a wine that would be suitable for both meat and fish dishes. It is a very small and intimate restaraunt with only about 8 tables, and the kitchen is right there and you can see how they operate through the glass window. The kitchen was very professional and also very quiet throughout the meal. Chef Marco Stabile was overseeing everything, and presented us with our wine. He also helped served other food items for other tables, and overall it seemed like he was very passionate about his restaraunt.

07/04/2025: A place where they sell quality and substance. The substance of people who know how to do their job very well. A superb grilled meat; a fantastic cut and perfect cooking. A very good choice of wines, fantastic side dishes, delicious desserts and friendly, fast service. There's no need to say anything else.

11/04/2025: Just returning from a great dinner here. Lively, warm, Florence dining room. Our waiter was so friendly and helped make choices. The real measure of a restaurant is when things aren't perfect. My pasta arrived under cooked. They immediately made it right and delicious. I will be back and don't miss the profiteroles if they are on the menu.

11/04/2025: Was very pleased to be accepted as a walk in on a busy Thursday evening. They put us in the "back" which turned out to be a beautiful setting with a high domed ceiling and lovely traditional stained glass windows with the name of the restaurant. We had the tomato and bread soup as antipasti, which was really delicious. We saw this restaurant and the soup on Stanley Tucci's series, so we're really intrigued to try it. And very pleased we did. We also had mains of wild boar and polenta as well as the suckling pig with potatoes and veg. All very delicious too. A really great place to eat. Highly recommend.

07/04/2025: Enchanted place. Far from the city crowds, however, easy to reach with a bus stop right in front of the place if, like me, you also want to take advantage of the b&b. You will rediscover the ancient flavors of typical dishes handed down and expertly prepared by Alessandra, with the engaging friendliness of the owner Luca. I applaud both of them for their welcome and absolute dedication towards each of their guests. A thousand thanks.

01/04/2025: Very nice food with impeccable service and beautiful atmosphere!!! The dishes were perfect as well as the aperol and negroni we drank. I would say the prices are very normal for what we got. We were lucky to find a seat because when we left there was an endless waiting line.

09/03/2025: Certaldo Alta is a wonderful village worth visiting. If you then go for dinner and find this gem of a place, the evening becomes perfect. Reservations are highly recommended, the tables are few and very close to each other, a large refrigerated counter in front, like a shop from the past, you can breathe an air of ancient flavours. The typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine, prepared with care and to be enjoyed at every bite, a great variety of wines, very honest prices. A real gem from this Certaldo.

08/03/2025: This was a very good experience for me in florence! I was very meeh for the food in general, but when I tasted their ragú I realized that the food in florence is really something! Although, I would not recommend their pizzas... the pasta and meat dished are what is good! I also tried their tiramisú and some other dessert and the tiramisú was to die for! Really recommend this non-touristic place.
