05/06/2025: Very kind staff and very good food. Ordered both normal and gluten-free dishes, both very very good and traditional. Ribollita, pappa al pomodoro and pappardelle with wild boar to try! Excellent attention for celiacs with a separate menu and many variations of pasta and desserts. Congratulations!

03/06/2025: I definitely would recommend! The staff was amazing! They spoke with us in English, but allowed me to try my Italian - I'm so grateful for the practice. Before even sitting down, they asked if we had any food allergies. We don't, but for anyone that does - it's a good sign that this is a place you can go. Our waiter was attentive and kind. He over heard me making a debate between two pasta dishes and he made the recommendation to me. I got the gnocchi with burrata, cherry tomatoes and basil pesto. The gnocchi were lil flavorful little pillows of potato pasta. The flavor was mild but decadent. We enjoyed a nice lunch outside on their patio. They have a nice selection of Tuscan dishes - and I want to go back and try them all!

12/05/2025: Make sure you make a reservation. Floreniten steak is spectacular. Their cheeses are superb ( ordered as appetizer. Pasta ragu is suberb. Staff is great. Tiramisu is a 10

11/05/2025: It was one of the best food experiences I've had in all of Italy. We started first with a pesto pasta and Ravioli. That was the best Ravioli I've ever had in my life. The butter in the ravioli recipe was incredibly delicious and decadent. The Tagliata sliced steak is one of the best tasting steaks I've ever had. Finally, to top it off for dessert, the sticky toffee. The best I've ever had. Just perfection. I can see why this is such a popular restaurant. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. You may want to reserve ahead of time to ensure your party a table as this place gets very packed, and for good reason.

06/05/2025: Perfect local restaurant right in the historic center. We had primo with wine and couldn't resist dessert with coffee and finally a grappa tasting. Everything excellent. Caffé di Robyn is the most amazing dessert in the world - chocolate, pistachio cookie pieces and coffee foam. If it's still available, definitely try it!

03/05/2025: Going through other reviews, they are complete catfish. Do NOT take the pictures seriously, as they seem to change the menu a lot. My girlfriend and I came here for our one year anniversary, something which I noted in our reservation details along with the fact that I don’t eat beef. None of my comments were ever mentioned or taken into account. We arrived and the mood was off, and we had to wait quite a few minutes standing in the entrance to be seated. The bread was quite good. After that, all the food was quite unremarkable. The dishes all seemed very similar to one another, and parts were just frankly below the standard of what you’d expect from this price range. The service was very friendly, and allowed us to switch one of the courses from the meat menu and the fish menu, but our waitress was incredibly difficult to understand, so we weren’t always sure what we were eating. Besides the wine list which looked nice (but was shown to us on their website on an iPad) and 4 basic cocktails (gin and tonic etc) there were no fun other cocktails or nonalcoholic beverage options at all. We were not offered a dessert wine for the last course, or a coffee or tea following the meal. In general, we left the experience feeling like attention to detail was missing. The location was nicely central and convenient. Would sadly recommend steering clear of this place though.

30/04/2025: If you're looking for a fine dining experience in Florence, Ora d’Aria delivers. This Michelin-starred restaurant is elegant without being stuffy. We went for the tasting menu, which was a beautifully curated journey through Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist. Standout dishes included the roasted pigeon with pear and the handmade pasta with smoked butter and anchovy. Every plate was a work of art, and the service was impeccable – attentive but never intrusive. The wine pairing was spot on and featured some lovely regional selections. The interior is modern and minimal, with large windows that let in beautiful natural light during lunch. It’s pricier than most (€100+ per person), but the quality and attention to detail justify every cent. It’s close to the Uffizi but tucked away on a quiet street, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. Perfect for a romantic evening or a celebratory meal. Definitely one of the most refined meals I've ever had in Italy.

25/05/2025: The place is something magical, beautiful and well-kept. Too bad for the lack of organization. I called to reserve a table for 5 for aperitif but you can't reserve less than 10 people. Once you get there, you have to "make do" a bit to find a seat, because there is no table service. So you queue to get a drink, and if you want to eat they give you a remote control that rings as soon as it's ready (you have to take it there too). We did the first round with 2 gin and tonics and a "gin sour" (let's say not very good) with a cutting board and two coccoli for €56, while the second round with 3 gin and tonics, two glasses of wine and 3 pizzas for €75, which could have been acceptable if there had been adequate customer service. With an incredible place like this, you expect things to be managed better.

04/06/2025: Some of the best food we have in Florence and great atmosphere and vibe. Their wine bar next door is also a popular spot for locals who drink out on the street throughout the night, so their restaurant and wine bar make for a perfect date night.

04/06/2025: It is a welcoming place in Florence, in the Santo Spirito area. They offer a wide selection of wines and cocktails. The dishes are also excellent. For an aperitif or a drink it is excellent.

30/05/2025: It's a typical local spot. The service is very friendly, and even if you don't speak the language, the waiters do their best to understand you and respond to your request. The food is delicious!! The atmosphere is very simple, yet pleasant. It's not overly decorated. Highly recommended 👌

27/04/2025: Was encourage to go here by the property management we were there when it opened. We ordered a brochette, for 10€ and only 2 came out….good, but for 10€? They are known for their pasta, but it was very expensive and not as good as I had when we were in Bologna. Our whole meal for 4 was 130€ —- I would have paid, gladly for this if was a memorable meal, but…..

14/04/2025: Excellent. We had the vegetarian bruschetta, the lasagna and the risotto dalla casa. All very good, with fresh ingredients and made with care. They take their time. It is not a place to eat quickly. They follow the slow food concept, which is appreciated. We ordered the house wine, which was good, but we regretted not ordering a bottle of good wine, as the food was worth it. The atmosphere is familiar and pleasant; You feel like you are invited to eat at the home of Italian friends.

31/05/2025: The food is delicious. The starters are very good. The steak is very delicious and high quality. Tiramisu and panna cotta are definitely worth trying. However, even if you have a reservation, you will have to wait in line. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it

23/05/2025: I was staying 20 minutes away in Scarperia and just couldn’t wait to step foot in Zocchi again. This is my second 5 star review of them and both thoroughly deserved. The last was quite a few years ago but they have managed to keep their unique charm, hospitality, kindness, top service and above all, real Tuscan food. Trust me when I say, give them a try and you will be delighted with the results.
