15/06/2026: Once upon a time, there was Osvaldo, a trattoria frequented by Florentines. While waiting, they were offered two proseccos, which were then added to the bill.
Two first courses, one side dish, two desserts, three glasses of house wine: €84. Incidentally, agnolotti were suggested when it was specified that one was vegetarian and the other preferred to avoid meat. Result: the filling was left on the side, not a single question asked about it. Tough stuff. Yet another dead trattoria. Avoid.

01/05/2026: The food was very good, but the only flaw was the lack of an elevator for strollers.
There was a stairlift, but they didn't let us use it.

11/06/2026: Perfect! We were visiting Vinci and stopped for lunch. Browsing the streets, the menu intrigued us, so we went in and found a table.
The atmosphere is small, very welcoming, and family-run.
Very good traditional cuisine and fabulous service. I would gladly return if we were less distant.

The gratinated vegetables were also good.
The service was impeccable; the lady was kind and smiling.
It was a positive experience. If we ever pass through this area again, we'll definitely be back. 😀👍

Recommended by our hotel, so we gave it a try. The service was genuinely friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the prices were lower than I expected for the area — easy on the wallet for a family meal.
The food, unfortunately, was the weak link. The pasta dish was meh, and the chicken arrived as a plate of fried everything with no real flavor to speak of. Nothing was inedible, but nothing stood out either.
If you’re looking for a cheap, low-key meal with friendly service, it’s an option. For a memorable dinner, keep looking.

There were challenges between waitresses, which created tension in the atmosphere when you really go there to relax and feel a pleasant environment. The food was okay, but marred by such a bad experience.

Recommended.
11/07/2026: We were returning from a trip and were in the area for lunch. We made the excellent choice of exiting the highway and eating here. The food was very good, the service was very quick and friendly despite the busy schedule, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. Highly recommended, much better than the rest stop restaurants.

07/07/2026: The best carbonara in Florence is at da Lino Ristorante. Order it with truffle (essential). We were practically ready to carry the chef out on our shoulders.
As for the service, it was EXCEPTIONAL. Glabeta served us, and she was lovely. If we return to Florence, we'll definitely go back!
03/07/2026: Nice location, friendly staff, and delicious food, especially the truffle cappellacci. We booked through TheFork and had a 50% discount, and even though we also ordered the steak (which was good), it was very cheap! We recommend it.

03/07/2026: This establishment takes advantage of tourists adding servizio and charging extra for a “full” glass of wine that wasn’t requested. And the food was subpar to our experiences over the years visiting Florence. Not recommended.
01/07/2026: Visited Feb ‘24 : A superb family dinner and completely blown away by the Florentine steak. In my mind it would be too rare but this was perfect just as it was meant to be.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and busy with upstairs seating and cosy, intimate, cellar seating downstairs.
Visited again June ‘26 : good atmosphere, less enthused by the food this time. Decent but far less blown away by the steak. Buratta and tomato salad was too basic.

16/05/2026: The picis were really very good, al dente, and the tomato sauce was a 10/10!
The meat is very high quality. The steak tartare, however, was bland and tasteless! On the phone, I was told the restaurant was booked solid for up to three months – strange, as two-thirds of the tables remained empty, and we were there from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM! Not recommended; you can get similar picis in town with a good wine.
07/05/2026: Ristorante la Reggia degli Etruschi could not be more perfect. The food is as spectacular as the views over Florence but the people that run the restaurant are the stars of the show. Thank you Leo and all your staff for a wonderful evening. We’ll see you again 10/10

06/11/2025: In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi.
An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs!
A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle.
We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!
29/10/2025: The BEST Gluten free pizza in town. Alex I lovely! Really attentive and did his best to make sure we ate well. I hadn’t eaten Oizza for such a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Pizza. Grande Alex!
