Cantinetta Antinori is a wonderful family-owned restaurant - part of family business group, that didn't disappoint. Highlights included the rich mozzarella, a curated wine list🍷, and excellent service on the upper floor.🤵🏻
The decor is also lovely. Rating the Florentine steak 4 out of 5🥩

Few dishes to choose from, executed without praise or infamy, with only adequate quality ingredients.
The price per dish was outrageous, precisely for the reasons mentioned above.
The service was friendly but imprecise about the dishes displayed when ordering.
I wouldn't return.
03/02/2026: What a lovely evening! Great company, a wonderful welcome from the owners and the very polite and professional Christian! Superb service, food, and atmosphere! The food was excellent, the pasta with duck sauce, the meatballs with spicy tomato sauce, and all the desserts were delicious!

The asparagus flan was a marvel that I wasn't expecting. Then the cacio e pepe was one of the best I've ever tasted; it had a perfect balance between the pepper and the cheese.

23/02/2026: Nothing to complain about as far as the food goes, I ate well, but as for the service and staff, it was a terrible experience. When we made the reservation, no one warned us that we would have to leave after an hour to make room for other customers. We only found out when the waitress came to the table and took away our plates with food still on them. She was rude and impolite to everyone throughout the entire dinner. Never again...

An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs!
A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle.
We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!
29/10/2025: The BEST Gluten free pizza in town. Alex I lovely! Really attentive and did his best to make sure we ate well. I hadn’t eaten Oizza for such a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Pizza. Grande Alex!

08/03/2026: A very well-kept restaurant, authentic Tuscan trattoria style. Outside, there's a beautiful terrace with a marvelous view, which certainly makes everything even more beautiful in the warmer months. The owner, who waits at the tables, is incredibly kind and helpful. Excellent food!! We tried excellent, strictly high-quality Tuscan cured meats. The first course with hare sauce was excellent. The fried chicken and rabbit with artichokes was tasty and dry!!! A must try. The peposo... fabulous. Flavorful but very digestible. Definitely worth a try and a return visit... perhaps in the summer to take advantage of the terrace!!
05/03/2026: Typical Florentine trattoria, typical Tuscan (Florentine) food. In summer it is very nice with the veranda (terrace) overlooking Florence.

Expensive and poor quality;
The polenta is super greasy, cut as hard as a shoe...
I think it needs to be reconsidered.
