11/11/2025: Excellent Trattoria in the Center of Florence Very close to the Uffizi Gallery and we had many recommendations. We were very well attended to by the owners. We ordered the Pici caccio pepe and the Papardelle cinghiale, and, to accompany, a Chianti Classico. The dishes were delicious. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

09/12/2025: I discovered this osteria in the heart of Fiesole's historic center during the Christmas markets. The guys who run it, Lorenzo and Duccio, are incredibly friendly and have a quick wit, while also working tirelessly and passionately. The atmosphere is always cheerful and the place is welcoming. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared. Prices are fair. Greetings from "the one in the middle."

07/12/2025: Very nice and youthful restaurant discovered via TikTok and The Fork. If you don't book, they don't necessarily have a table for dinner. Two of us went and had a 1.5kg Florentine steak, a flask of Chianti, two coffees, and a liter of water, all for around one hundred euros. Personally, it was very nice. I'll definitely be back, even for a simple aperitivo. The guy at the bar was super friendly, as was the waitress.

07/12/2025: The service seemed decidedly disorganized. During dinner, we witnessed unpleasant arguments between the owner and the wait staff, which ruined the atmosphere. The space is cramped and the atmosphere is frenetic, with waiters constantly rushing back and forth, creating stress. As for the food, the entrees were mediocre.

16/11/2025: Cantinetta di Rignana never disappoints. The primi are outstanding — rich, perfectly balanced, and genuinely memorable. The antipasto is exactly what you hope for in Chianti: generous, fresh, and full of flavour. The wine list is spot-on and pairs beautifully with everything on the table. Dessert was the perfect finale: a top-tier tiramisù and a fantastic torta cioccolato e pere that was warm, soft, and ridiculously good. Hidden in a stunning setting, with food that’s worth the trip every single time. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: Everything was very good, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was truly pleasant, surrounded by greenery.

12/11/2025: Our favourite dining experience in Florence!! Friendly and attentive service, all housed in a cozy Tuscan themed decor. Lots of regional meat AND vegetable dishes, and we only spent €45 for two. Love the tomato polenta (pappa al pomodoro) and the lemon and cheese tortellini (tortello). All veggie dishes were great and portioned well. We got our food quickly too. Gutted we only got to dine there once! If you go make sure you get the nonna's dessert cakes and they were arranged beautifully in a covered cupboard and featured Tuscany specialties like the autumnal chestnut cake.

12/11/2025: The best ribollita I've ever eaten! The steak was cooked perfectly, though I'm a bit skeptical about the quality of the meat, which could be better. Perfect service.

04/12/2025: I don’t give 5 stars, but we went last night and I was very happy. We had a reservation at 730 and there was a scrum at the entrance as they let in everyone at the same time, a bit weird, but everyone was in good spirits. The waiter was great, explained everything we asked, my wife doesn’t take rare meat, so unfortunately, we didn’t have the Florentine steak, but we ordered the Vegetable “soup”, crostini, grilled vegies, veal and sirloin steak (we asked for medium). The crostini was liked by my wife, who enjoys liver and tolerable by me. The vegetable soup was surprising as it’s not what you expect from a soup, but tasted good. Grilled vegies was a meh. But the steak and ESPECIALLY the veal was amazing! Cooked to medium perfectly and the fat rendered so well! Melt in your mouth, we finished the entire thing down to its bone! When the waiter asked if everything was good, we could only point to the empty plates! I never give 5 stars, but this place gets 5 stars! Thoroughly enjoyable! We spent €106 for 3 people, the bread was free (usually the mark of a tourist trap!)

03/12/2025: What a lovely dinner at Il Latini. Food We had the roasted pigeon and beef filet for our 1st dinner in Florence. The roasted pigeon was seasoned well and flavourful. That said, I thought the pigeon may have been slightly overdone. The beef filet was divine and cooked to perfection. We loved it. We paired the 2 mains with grilled vegetables. We also had the tomato and bread soup. The soup felt authentically tuscan. While the name of the dish appears simple, we felt warmth in our hearts as if we were eating a dish cooked by our grandmothers. For dessert, we had tiramisu. Please try if you are there for a meal. Do not skip this dessert. Service was excellent, attentive and efficient. Reservations recommended, if possible. We arrived at the restaurant about 15-20mins before dinner service started. There was already a queue. Restaurant is popular and quite busy.

23/11/2025: It was so delicious I forgot to take pictures. I highly recommend it; the pasta with ragù was amazing as a starter, and the Florentine steak was a delight for the main course! The wine was very pleasant, and the lemon sorbet was spectacular!

23/11/2025: We went for dinner the first night because it was close to the hotel and because we had a discount with TheFork. The restaurant is quite large and wasn't crowded; we didn't have to wait to be seated. We ordered the traditional pasta with wild boar ragu, which was excellent and a more than generous portion. We also tried one of their pizzas, where they didn't skimp on the toppings. We didn't order dessert because we were so full, but it was an excellent start to our trip.

19/10/2025: A wonderful discovery, not easy to find because it's not as flashy as the large tourist-trap terraces in the center. Authentic cuisine, full of flavors. A real treat. No disappointment in sight. Faultless recommendations.

14/12/2025: As soon as we sat down, we asked for a change of glasses because they were greasy and covered in fingerprints. Appetizer. Crostini: four half slices of thick bread with a spoonful of ragù (good), a sauce of livers, one indefinite and indefinable, and one of beans. At least the courtesy of spreading it on the bread... the beans, completely unseasoned, straight from the can. €8. Sliced ​​steak. Sufficient. Dish of the day: fried artichokes. So much batter that the artichoke disappeared. No, I won't be going back. You can't charge €50 for such sloppy cuisine. Sorry, the place would be nice...

29/11/2025: Beautiful and typically Tuscan location, albeit a bit forced. The dishes are traditional, but unfortunately revisited as gourmet tastings, which in my opinion has lost the true essence of the "typical Tuscan dish." The waiters were truly friendly and attentive to all our requests, and it's thanks to them that I didn't give it a two-star rating. The lighting was a bit too dim, so much so that they even added a table lamp to at least read the menu... The overall price, in my opinion, is a bit above what I expected. This is definitely a place I won't be returning to.
