The best steak in Tuscany! The wine selection is nothing short of spectacular!

Welcoming and well-organized location. On a sunny day like the one we just had, it's a worthwhile place, nestled in a totally relaxing square. The service was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent! We each ordered various dishes, which we then sampled... Really good!!! Portions were decent. The price tends to be high for the simplicity of the dish itself... But it's still worth it. The Florentine steak was wonderful!!! You can't miss it. I recommend it! Excellent place

I was in the area and was told to try this place. What a great recommendation! I loved the location, and the ambiance was charming. I enjoyed a lovely glass of Rosso di Montalcino paired with a spectacular pasta dish. Dessert was delicate and delightfully surprising. A lovely little gem. Worth the detour.

The food was decent, but the service was rather unpleasant for various reasons. We ordered a 1.3kg Florentine steak (that's what we were told when choosing it before cooking), which was later billed as 1.6kg. Greater transparency would be helpful.

We booked a dinner in September the same day by phone, but you can easily book online from their website. The menu is typically Tuscan, with good wines to choose from. We ate outside under the canopy; the staff was very kind, and the ingredients were excellent. We spent €50.50 for two, including an appetizer of cheeses and honey, a first course of pici pasta, a second course (pork loin), and a dessert (with a bottle of water). For dessert, we tried the non-cow ricotta with cocoa. In my opinion, the cocoa is superfluous and makes no sense; perhaps some honey and almonds would enrich this dessert. Otherwise, we were happy, and it's a must-visit for anyone in the area. There's no parking, so be patient and find it before the climb; you'll need to arrive a little early because the village has very few parking spaces.

We visited twice in one week, and it just seemed to get even better. We’ve been to Il Pozzo before. It was highly recommended because of the wine list. The wine list doesn’t disappoint and is very well priced. We tried several of the daily specials. All was delicious, but the pinci with porcini mushrooms was the star of the show for me. For secondi, the arrista, recommended by our waiter, did not disappoint. (We ordered it twice.) The meat quality was very high. Service was impeccable. It was a true delight to take our time with both the food and the wine. We will be back.
