11/11/2025: I went to the bar and sat outside, enjoying some wine with my book. I arrived before 5pm when it supposedly open but the staff was already inside and the door open so I tried my luck - and indeed it was open. The place has a gorgeous rustic charm and the staff was nice. I really wanted to try the restaurant but unfortunately, it didn't open until 1h later so I wasn't able to. Next time in Florence I'll probably try another hike in the hills and go back to try the food!

11/11/2025: Platter for two: two slices of each cold cut, a crostini, and two pieces of cheese each, just to give you an idea of the portions. Whether or not they're enough depends on your appetite! Anyway, good products and a good selection of wines. The young and very friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere.

The only downside is that the prices have always been a bit above average.

Tip: The signature dish is the fritto misto, but you have to reserve a table so if you're a tourist, you can't try it without a reservation.

28/10/2025: We had a really good meal. I'd been there 25 years ago, and I have to say that it has proven itself time and time again as a place where you eat well. The atmosphere is family-friendly, the place is well-kept, elegant, and clean, with qualified and friendly staff!
I highly recommend it.

I'd say the ribollita, pasta all'aglione, pork ribs, and Bacio di Lella were the most successful dishes.
Good value.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!
31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro.
Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

09/12/2025: Every year I return to Bianchina, and every year I give it 5 stars. Because the food is good, because it's affordable, because the waiters are kind, because they're fast. Is that enough? This time I tried the suckling pig with potatoes, which was the choice of the day. Excellent. I believe the owners are Sardinian, and that explains the excellent quality of the suckling pig, as well as that of the homemade myrtle liqueur. For me, Florence isn't a visit to Bianchina without it.
06/12/2025: I wasn't familiar with the place, but it's easy to get to and has ample parking. The steak was exceptional, a classic Florentine steak, undercooked but melting in your mouth. Despite being busy, the service was very fast. The prices were average and much lower than those downtown restaurants where they serve almost black-core meat.

14/11/2025: A restaurant just steps from the Duomo and Piazza del Campo, with three charming indoor dining rooms and the option of an outdoor veranda in warmer weather. Very friendly and professional staff, a menu featuring both meat and seafood, and a wide selection of Italian and international wines. Delicious dishes, impeccably cooked and expertly plated. The prices are absolutely reasonable and in line with the quality of the food and service received. Extremely satisfied, we will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
