The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making you feel truly at home. The menu offers traditional dishes with a refined twist, using fresh, quality ingredients: every course is meticulously crafted, from flavor to presentation. The local wines are also excellent, perfectly pairing each dish. Ultimately, a place you'll always want to return to—for the good food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the authentic welcome. Highly recommended!

17/12/2025: The best pasta or the best tiramisu in Italy? We booked a table for dinner after a recommendation by a Roman friend. For antipasti we had the cheese pralines with honey and fiori di zucca. Both were really good, with the latter standing out in particular. For Primi we had the Carbonara, Cacio e pepe and Frascarelli tartufati. All pasta dishes were spotless and we enjoyed them tremendously. The desserts were the weak part of the meal. We had the tiramisu, which was more of a pudding, and the crème brûlé with orange, which was aesthetic but not impressive. So, going back to the question at the beginning - it was our best pasta during the trip, but definitely not the best dessert. For drinks we had the S. Rocco ripasso valpolicella which was excellent. Service was kind and atmosphere was warm and pleasant, with mostly Roman guests rather than tourists.

15/12/2025: The restaurant owner was not polite and grumpy. He complained that the children wanted to see the Christmas decorations that swung around and shouted at them not to touch them. The waiter was polite and perfectly patient. The was only one highchair for the whole restaurant. There was a deadfish in a fish tank at the entrance- it was jammed in the filter and obviously dead. Rather upsetting. The food was tasty, but expensive. My husband found multiple hairs in his pasta but given how grumpy the owner was we didn't dare complain.

09/12/2025: We had been looking forward to this restaurant in Rome for weeks and even made our reservation well in advance. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the most disappointing dining experience of our entire trip. The first issue came as soon as we arrived: although we had specifically requested an outdoor table, we were told that if we wanted to sit outside, we’d still have to wait in the regular line. Apparently, the reservation “doesn’t apply” to outdoor seating. That was quite surprising and frustrating. Then the service felt very rushed. We ordered several appetizers and our main courses. But just a couple of minutes after the appetizers arrived, the mains were already brought to the table. There was barely space for everything, and we definitely didn’t want to eat both courses at the same time. It all felt like they just wanted to get us through quickly. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn’t convincing either. The mixed appetizer plate with Italian cold cuts and cheese was disappointing — everything was cut very thick, the ham was already dry, and the quality wasn’t what we’re used to in Italy. My carbonara was also underwhelming. A friend of mine had been here last year and absolutely loved it, and even her photos looked completely different. Something must have changed since then. Overall, a real shame. We were so excited about this dinner, but it ended up being the weakest restaurant experience of our stay in Rome.

08/12/2025: One of my favorite places in Rome for authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. I booked in advance and the service was excellent; I highly recommend ordering their pizzas.

03/12/2025: Terrible service, chaotic atmosphere. Tasteless food and expensive menu. The "gricia coi carciofi" tasted like mush, and they must have worked hard to remove the flavor from the bacon (which was limp and BOILED).

11/12/2025: The braised oxtail was incredibly tender and delicious! The octopus pasta was also very good; the seafood was very fresh, and the broth was incredibly sweet and flavorful.

11/12/2025: We booked it in advance coz this place was recommended by many. However, food-wise there is nothing special if you have tried some local restaurants already. In fact, I couldn’t recommend this place due to its below average service… We barely got any attention from the staff, the manager looked annoyed when we showed up, which is baffling. One waiter accidentally poured water on a Korean guest sitting next to us. It was an accident but also quite a mood killer.

12/11/2025: I came to this restaurant after having been there a couple of times before to celebrate, and we all had a great time. We ate wonderfully. Diego is an exceptional person, as are the waiters. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was all delicious, the tripe was special. The atmosphere was lovely, and thanks again to Diego for letting us bring a cake. We'll definitely be back, especially since everyone was satisfied, not just me. I highly recommend it. See you next time.
