29/03/2025: The artichoke with beans was the worst I've eaten in Rome. The pizza was quite good. We didn't like the service at all; they weren't friendly at all. And the restaurant was typical with photos of Italian actors. I wouldn't go back.

09/03/2025: Average food, the cannelloni arrived almost cold, for an appetizer of only cold cuts you waited 45 minutes, the waitresses were kind but everything was a bit disorganised, panna cotta very good, I don't think we will return

06/03/2025: Pleasantly surprised by the great courtesy of the staff, the wonder of the dishes taken, the abundance of the dishes and the price. An amazing carbonara, I asked: "more abundant than carbonara" and I was granted. Congratulations guys 🥇

23/02/2025: Mortifying experience: I won't comment on the quality of the food, because I couldn't be objective having had a bad lunch. Being a lady with excellent education, I believe it is unforgivable that just complaints are responded to with the arrogance of someone who is at fault and does not admit it. Delays due to the disproportion between the dining room and the kitchen; orders taken roughly; the provocative attitude in responding to every legitimate request (for example having pasta without cheese due to an intolerance); the total lack of courtesy in justifying any problems that occurred during service (not even having a basket of bread on the table during an hour or more of waiting); no explanation of the menu and consequent misunderstandings: all of this would also be forgivable, if one apologised. However, "Ille nihil doubted qui nullam scientiam habet." When four customers complain about a poor service, you don't respond by saying, and I quote the exact words: "what job do you do? We're working here, you're sure you're a municipal employee" Such treatment does not honor our Roman spirit, which historically is synonymous with hospitality and joviality. Being violently and threateningly pushed out of the club - after having duly paid the bill - was the last act of a low-class neorealist comedy of which I would never have wanted to be a spectator, much less an actress. Making a guest feel humiliated is a failure, and you should at least acknowledge this.

23/02/2025: Very bad experience. We had booked at 1.30pm and arrived ten minutes late due to parking, for which we promptly apologised. We waited half an hour for the waiter to arrive, who was immediately less than attentive and visibly annoyed by our existence, despite our extreme friendliness. The menu had not been brought to us, but luckily we had obtained it ourselves from the website. We order the wine and the first courses. After half an hour we remind the waiter about the wine, which he had completely forgotten about, and which he finally brings us. We had also asked for bread, which was also forgotten. Furthermore, we had asked if there were any fried foods and were told that there was nothing left, when in reality it would have been possible to order fried artichokes. At 3.10pm we were still waiting for our 4 pasta dishes, an hour and a half after our arrival. I understand very well that on Sunday it can be complicated to cope with the number of seats, but having only one waiter, who moreover seemed completely inadequate to the role, or perhaps simply too tired, for the entire veranda, is perhaps too few. At our slightest complaint about the enormous delay, we were told in a curt and rude manner that there are times (for four plates of pasta?), and that if we wanted we could also leave. We ask for the wine basket, which does not arrive. We ask for it, and it finally arrives, roughly slammed on the table. Finally, after another wait (we had already finished the wine), the dishes arrive. A diner had specifically asked for a dish without pecorino, which arrived sprinkled with pecorino. Tortellini nothing special. Salted carbonara. Obviously we don't take anything else. We go to pay, and we are threatened by the staff, who does not accept our criticisms. Even if the food had been good, and this wasn't the case, we would still have been disappointed. Here we are evidently used to having many customers due to the advantageous position of the place, without the slightest regard for the customer. The best part of the meal was leaving. Or perhaps the wine we had chosen.

22/03/2025: Been to the wine shop, very nice and good cellar. Too bad about the very rude staff, it seemed like we were bothering them and they couldn't wait to close.

17/03/2025: Ci siamo stati con amici per pranzo. Gli antipasti alcuni buoni, altri meno. Come primo io ho preso la grigia coi carciofi ma i carciofi erano freddi quindi nel mangiarla non era piacevole. I dolci niente di particolare…la mia amica che ha preso la cheesecake (é l’unica cosa che ha mangiato solo lei) si è sentita male e non aveva mangiato nient’altro né prima né dopo il pranzo. Poi la cameriera non spiccava per la simpatia. Avevamo intenzione di tornare per fare una degustazione nella loro enoteca ma NO.

06/02/2025: Encantador restaurante con asientos interiores y exteriores. Está justo enfrente del Coliseo. Perfecto para una recarga en el almuerzo o la cena. La comida era deliciosa y abundante. Nuestro camarero Josh era muy atento. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.

14/03/2025: Ladrones Llamé para almorzar y beber. Pedimos un par de cervezas seguido de una copa de vino cada uno. El camarero intentó que pidiéramos una botella de vino. Tuvimos que insistir en solo 2 vasos. Para la comida pedimos compartir bruschetta y un plato de carne y queso. De nuevo el camarero dijo plato para dos. Dije dos veces que no, solo una para compartir, tenemos una para compartir. Recibimos la factura y nos habían cobrado por dos platos. Así que no comas aquí. Te robarán.

16/03/2025: The food is very good. We ate real Italian pasta, we ordered some carbonara that were spectacular and some truffled funghi that were also delicious. Very pleasant treatment. Super recommended.

16/03/2025: This was one of the best places I’ve eaten in Rome. The food was incredible, wine recommendations spot on, and outstanding service. Marco took such good care of us and made our experience so enjoyable and we can’t wait to return for another delicious meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyed by locals and tourists!

11/03/2025: Lovely casual family restaurant. Staff was delightful. I had the seafood risotto (absolutely delicious), fettuccine bolognese (my 9 year loved it, good size portion) and my hubby had the carbonara. We will definitely come back! Very affordable too.

21/03/2025: It was recommended to me by Amici… and I have to say, very good. We had 2 first courses and 2 second courses. Tonnarelli alla gricia, gnocchi with sparerib sauce, Bonelli sausage and saltimbocca alla romana. The gnocchi were very good… it seemed like grandma's classic sauce, the tonnarelli were good, but they didn't convince me at all 💯 Apart from the fact that I think the mezze maniche are better alla gricia, the pieces of whatever they were were too big (I exclude it was guanciale). But that's not the problem. Pecorino is already fatty by itself, why drown the pasta in "guanciale" fat? At home I do it too, for goodness sake, but it's one thing to use it to season pasta for 4 people, another for a mini portion of pasta. It practically floated on the plate! Too much! Moral of the story, after lunch I didn't feel very well. Saltimbocca were the best I've ever eaten and the sausage too, very good!! The interior is a bit spartan… but I don’t have to live there, just eat… so it’s fine. Minimal but clean and tidy. Cool because it has an open kitchen! Clean bathrooms… stocked with toilet paper and hand soap (maybe one with a new dispenser, it wouldn’t hurt). The only flaw, the electric dryer on the wall is painfully slow! Overall good, I would definitely go back. They don’t have real menus… but a blackboard with the dishes of the day marked. In any case 47.50 including cover charge + bread (3€), water and a quarter of house wine. A grandmother who cuddles you and stuffs you with so many good things, until you get up from your chair with a barrel-shaped panzotto! It’s okay! Recommended!!

01/03/2025: A rather disappointing experience. We stopped for a midday lunch based on the high ratings on Google Maps. It’s a small restaurant with decent service. The lasagna was acceptable, but the carbonara was among the weakest we’ve had—the guanciale was almost inedible. Prices were standard.

01/03/2025: During my six-night stay in Rome, I discovered this beautiful restaurant on my second day during an afternoon walk. Drawn by its charm and the sight of loyal locals filling every table—dressed up for dates or lively gatherings—I immediately booked a table for dinner that evening. From that night on, I returned two more times with my family, unable to resist its inviting atmosphere, authentic Italian cuisine, and exceptional hospitality. The restaurant offers a delightful selection of antipasti, superb main courses, and delicious desserts, all served by the warm and welcoming gentlemen who make the experience even more special. It was everything I had hoped for in an Italian trattoria. Absolutely loved this place.

22/03/2025: Very welcoming environment, not at all touristy, friendly staff. I tried the umbrina stuffed with olives: highly recommended. Very careful about gluten-free: gluten-free bread served hot, really delicious!. I will definitely be back!.

17/03/2025: This restaurant is one of Rome’s hidden gems. The food was amazing, service was excellent and cost was low. We ate, pizza (best ever) pasta (perfect) and sea bass was so good and cooked to perfection. Deserts fabulous! Don’t miss out

15/03/2025: This was a wonderful, welcoming restaurant that we enjoyed on our first night in Rome. It offered traditional Roman flavors with great service. Get the cacio e pepi! Desserts were also fabulous. Very reasonably priced as well.
