06/12/2025: I've had other experiences here that were good, but something happened this time, and I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a "four cheese" platter, and it fell short. It had a kind of bland "white sauce" and a very thin slice of cheese on top. I had to add salt to give it some flavor. I ordered minestrone, and it was one of the simplest things I've ever tasted, as you can see in the photo. There weren't enough staff, and the waiter was very busy. I hope my review inspires them to improve their dishes and bring back their good flavor.

01/12/2025: The atmosphere was zero, and the waiter was talking too loudly to everyone, even while chatting with his friends. The steak was terrible; it ruined my appetite, even though I was very hungry. When I told the waiter about the smell of the meat, he didn't seem to care, but there was a really bad smell and taste to it, and I couldn't eat it. My wife's skirt beef was okay. The artichoke salad was also very sloppy; they'd just thrown long artichokes on top of the salad. I had to cut it up. The wine we chose was good. Two steaks, a bottle of wine, and a salad cost 91 Euros. But the stench of the meat still lingers in my nose. We went based on the reviews, but we wasted a dinner. I say, no need.

22/11/2025: Nothing has changed, time doesn't matter here! If you want to eat in a real osteria, this is the place to come. A great discovery this evening thanks to my great cousin Fabrizio, a Roman from Rome. Flavors enhanced by simplicity and tradition. Every time I return to Rome... I will absolutely have to stop by here!

04/11/2025: I've been here three times and would dine here every night if I could. Everything is thought out down to the smallest detail: the location, the service, and the food. The Fassona tartare is undoubtedly my favorite appetizer. The prices are high but absolutely fair considering the quality of the experience.

15/10/2025: The food was good and well-cooked, but the "wow" factor was missing: you ate like you would at a grandmother's house who knows how to cook. The first course with truffles was very good, but the one with white duck ragù was a little less so, too salty and a bit dry. The location was very charming, the service was adequate, but the prices were far too high for the type of food offered. We had a mixed appetizer for two (€22), a burrata (€15), and two first courses, water, and two coffees (€2.50 each). We spent €45 each: perhaps a bit too much considering the setting.

26/10/2025: If you go to Ostia you can't miss going to visit them, we went after a Judo competition and we stayed late, they welcomed us very well, the bill was honest and the food was excellent, compliments to everyone

23/11/2025: We had lunch for two at this family-run Osteria, serving excellent traditional Roman cuisine. We had a starter of pappardelle with hare sauce, exceptionally delicious, and the strozzapreti with artichokes and bacon, delicately flavored and scented with Roman mint, both equally excellent. For our main course, the legendary coda alla vaccinara, incredibly soft and flavorful, and the boiled meatballs. The house red wine paired perfectly with the courses! A special mention for the artichoke alla giudia, simply perfect! To round out these superb courses, we sampled the desserts: zuppa inglese, a top-notch Italian trifle, and tiramisu, a runner-up. The host, Mr. Massimo, who guided us through the entire selection of dishes, proved to be very knowledgeable and a keen connoisseur of the various specialties. We will definitely be back and I recommend trying it; you won't be disappointed!

16/12/2025: A few years ago it was a Roman tavern, now it has become a place for tourists with exorbitant prices, a carbonara 16 euros, obviously the quantity has also dropped.

14/12/2025: Everything was excellent, it's just a shame I couldn't give the service 6 stars! Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: So, my wife and I came unexpectedly last Tuesday around 1 p.m. and we were very well received. We don't speak Italian, and the waiter did the best he could in English... until he told us that his colleague/boss spoke very good French (we're French)... and then the experience changed completely. The lady, incredibly kind and passionate, talked us through all the dishes on the menu and recommended mushrooms (I don't normally like mushrooms) and pasta with white ragout in incredible French without any accent (okay, she admitted she spent her entire childhood in France). We took everything she recommended and we had a great time. So, impeccable service, incredible food, and kindness (and French) that deserved the highest possible rating... we had a great time. THANK YOU!!

05/10/2025: Unfriendly and makes some guests wait 30 minutes while he randomly calls in other people who arrive later. Doesn't treat all guests equally.
