03/07/2025: Vrlo popularno mjesto, nismo imali rezervaciju, ali smo imali sreće pa je bio slobodan stol za 4 osobe. Nakon nas su ljudi bez rezervacije trebali čekati da sexoslovodi koje mjesto. Hrana je ukusna, porcije su obilne, a cijene umjerene. Djelatnici su ljubazni i otvoreni za razne kombinacije s menia, a unatoč gužvi, hrana je došla relativno brzo. Naručili smo carbonaru, amatricianu, 2x pizza alla diavola, danski odrezak i mješanu salatu. Na kraju smo pizze nosili kući jer su porcije stvarno obilne.

05/07/2025: We came across this restaurant by chance. Family atmosphere with rustic structure. Immediately served with abundant dishes. Excellent value for money. For two we had a portion of fettuccine with mushrooms, 2 second courses of meat, a side dish of super expertly sautéed chicory and a bottle of water Total cost 70 euros

30/06/2025: Quick lunch yesterday between 2 friends. Random but perfect discovery near the Colosseum, a cacio e pepe and a super gricia! Really welcoming staff, it feels like being at home! Very well-kept place, informal and not touristy! And the entrance in the shade of a creeper attracted us...highly recommended!

18/07/2025: I think this place has just been renovated or is otherwise kept like a gem. The quality of the fish is incredible, the service feels like family, and it's also a pleasant dive back into the '90s! What more can I say? Keep it up!

26/06/2025: The food was good, but unfortunately the hidden service and bread charges ruined the experience for me. If the restaurant needs to cover higher costs, they could simply increase the prices of the dishes or even charge more for water. But bringing bread we didn't order and adding a service fee that wasn’t mentioned anywhere feels dishonest to me. It came across as a very shady practice.

22/06/2025: Normal place, average, really good food, an exquisite amatriciana, but alas, I found some things really unpleasant, like the obligation to spend at least €25 per person.... it's really a bad thing, unfortunately we didn't realize it right away but only after taking the table, everything was written on the menu, and not being in a group we didn't feel like leaving, but having 4 children and being two adults the expense was not indifferent.... the supplement for half portions.... €2 for the cover charge... it almost seems like you have to pay for everything.... friendly staff, the owners too...

12/07/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, with a stunning view from the terrace. We arrived at dusk, and we could see the sea. I'm celiac, and although I forgot to let them know, I found the staff helpful and offered excellent alternatives. The service was attentive, with that touch of Roman humor that never hurts. Finally, excellent value. Recommended!

10/07/2025: As always, a guarantee. I've been coming to this seafood restaurant for years and have always had a great experience. More refined than many places in this neighborhood, the service is excellent, and I find great care taken with the ingredients. Plus, there's also a nice wine list with plenty of options to choose from. The staff are very kind, and that's a great added value.

30/06/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Ripa 12! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The service was warm and welcoming—our server was incredibly friendly and patient, even helping us navigate the menu despite my not-so-great Italian. She made us feel right at home. We started with a generous portion of mussels, which were fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. For mains, we had the tuna and sea bream—both were beautifully prepared and melted in the mouth. Every dish was well-balanced, delicious, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed but elegant, and the value for money was excellent, especially considering the high quality of the seafood. I would highly recommend Ripa 12 to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Rome

16/07/2025: We saw this place on the Michelin Guide and came to try it out. We booked a reservation pretty far in advance, which I recommend. The service and atmosphere were wonderful! For the food, we chose the option for a tasting menu, where each person can choose from a few items on a set menu for €36 each. While the appetizers were incredible, the rest of the courses were just alright. Maybe a hot take but I felt that the food wasn’t too memorable. Even so, our waiter was amazing and we had a great time!

On Sunday I had lunch at Grottino der Traslocatore with my family, and we were enchanted by this trattoria that perfectly embodies the genuine and welcoming spirit of Roman cuisine. We opted for two first courses divided between four, a perfect choice to taste more flavors without sacrificing the generosity of the portions (200g per dish). The dishes were simply delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and that homely touch that makes the difference. The meatballs, then, were appreciated by everyone: soft, with lots of sauce. They would have been perfect for my tastes with a little more salt. The environment is a real gem: rustic, intimate and familiar, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The management is family and this is perceived in every detail, from the friendly service to the passion they put into every dish. In short, if you are looking for a place to eat well, spend the right amount and feel pampered like at home, Grottino der Traslocatore is the perfect choice. We will be back soon, no doubt!
