Possibly the safest place to eat gluten-free near the Vatican, though not exclusively gluten-free.
Tasty and generous portions and friendly service. It's not excessively expensive, although it's a bit more pricey than some other places in the area, but it's worth it.

The best gluten free pizza I’ve had to date—and I felt super safe given the aic accreditation (celiac org in Italy). I miscommunicated initially, intending to ask about takeout options but being brought to a table instead. The staff was so kind and patient as I tried to explain better, despite the business of the restaurant. I would love to return to sit down and eat! Thank you, Soffitta Renovatio! The GF upcharge was also only €1, which was a huge plus!

Food was delicious, restaurant was a great vibe, and our server In Fausto, “Maestro” (as my friend called him) was so knowledgeable and so such an excellent host! This is Italian food at its absolute best. Highly recommend!

My brother recommended this place, having dined in twice, on his last trip. I’m so glad I listened.
The pasta & pizza was outstanding, accompanied by a dry rosé recommended from our waiter.
The host, or maybe, head waiter (?), with glasses and a cheeky smile, delivered fine dining level service. We’ll be recommending this place for sure.

This was our favorite vegan meal in Rome so far!!!! Just ask for the vegan menu, service super friendly and the food was so delicious!!! The perfect post-Vatican lunch!!

Kudos to you for your gluten-free offering! I ordered the gluten-free carbonara and it was truly delicious: flavorful and cooked to perfection. The staff was also very kind, helpful, and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an excellent gluten-free experience!
