06/04/2026: Six course tasting menu with family. Loooong wine list with multiple choices of wine from each region. Excellent food, the bruschetta with shrimp and lardo made us all sigh with pleasure. Very helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful evening!

09/03/2026: TRAM TRAM!!! A historic restaurant in the heart of San Lorenzo!! I've known and frequented this restaurant for a long time, a Roman institution for the quality of their food, their wine selection, and their respect for tradition. A wonderful family that will make you feel at home. Must-try dishes: fried anchovies, puntarelle, artichokes, coratella, and pajata!

15/03/2026: Dinner with my wife to enjoy a Roman evening. Specifically, we ordered artichokes alla giudia and supplì as appetizers, followed by pasta alla amatriciana and tonnarelli with artichokes and guanciale, both very good. With a nice glass of Syrah, we were well-filled, spending €64 in total, which I'd say was reasonable for the quality of the food. We had a chat with the very friendly head waiter on the way out; we highly recommend the place.

14/03/2026: A fantastic bistro in Rome where we had a wonderful time… so much so that we went back two nights in a row. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, there's a pianist, the service is friendly, and you immediately feel at ease. As for the food, it was impeccable: we enjoyed delicious pasta with clams, pasta with asparagus, and a perfectly executed carbonara. All accompanied by spritzes for an aperitif and a very good red Merlot. Simple, generous, and satisfying—exactly what you expect from a good Italian restaurant. One small point to note, however: the second time, we booked through TheFork app. If the restaurant is full, reservations can sometimes be canceled. We were lucky to still get a table, but it's good to be aware of this. So, a word of advice to app users: double-check your reservation. Despite this minor detail, the experience remains excellent, and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

I had the grilled chicken thighs, and it was a tasty and filling dish. If I ever have a delivery in the area, I'll stop by to try the higher-quality cuts I've seen available. Reasonable price.

05/04/2026: I went to this very special osteria because it was listed as a restaurant by the agency that organized our school trip. I must say, we immediately felt at home: the owner was very welcoming and helpful, making himself available right away: he treated us to some very succulent dishes, expertly prepared, delicious, and generous in quantity. He brought us an appetizer of typical local products, including porchetta, which was spectacular. Not to mention the pasta carbonara, the one with wild boar sauce, and many other delicacies that left a wonderful taste in our mouths. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have the same experience as me. You won't regret it...😋.

04/04/2026: As a celiac patient, I was generally very pleasantly surprised by Rome. However, what the team at La Soffitta Renovatio delivered was on a whole other level. During my 3.5-day stay, I ate pizza five times, but the "Calzone Prosciutto Crudo" was absolutely incredible!! For dessert, there was a refrigerator full of gluten-free treats. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Rome! Unfortunately, I can't give more than five stars; I would have given more in a heartbeat!!! 100% recommendation (especially for celiac patients) Thank you so much for this wonderful pizza!

04/04/2026: The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the food tasted good as well as the prices were reasonable. The owner who greeted us at the front was kind, and the other staff members were attentive despite being busy. However, one staff member was a bit puzzling. Even without a common language, one would expect them to understand greetings or responses, yet they didn't speak much. I made a request, but they just vaguely nodded and ultimately didn't fulfill it, so I ended up speaking to another staff member. It was a disappointing experience.
