I'll be back! As soon as I get back to Rome, I have to try all the dishes I missed on Saturday. Delicious cacio e pepe, spectacular vegetables, unbeatable desserts, and for those coming from Pavia, that wholesome, warm Roman atmosphere that stays with you even afterward!!!

16/01/2026: A very welcoming location in a strategic spot on Ponte Milvio overlooking the Tiber. Impeccably clean, a varied and quality menu of both meat and fish, and very kind and friendly waiters. A special thanks to Francesco, who served us with great courtesy and friendliness! A young man with a desire to work and super kindness, he deserves a raise right away!

Trattoria Da Dante

06/08/2026: For me, this has always been the best restaurant in the capital. At 12:45 AM on July 26, 2026, six characters in search of an author, yet four of us with a craving for food, we called Da Dante for four spaghetti with clams, and they were ready to welcome us! I want to give special praise to Matteo, a friendly and talkative young man originally from Calabria, the land of Magna Graecia. His only flaw is his faith in the old lady, but he is forgiven. At the end of the meal, we asked for a second serving of the amaro, and due to our lack of clarity, we made an unforgivable mistake: we forgot to leave a tip. But we will make up for it the next time we have the opportunity. Heartfelt compliments to all the staff and especially to the kitchen, which, despite the late hour, delighted us with a SUPERLATIVE spaghetti with clams!!!
02/08/2026: Carbonara, anchovies, courgette flowers....really very good...very pleasant service....I hope to return
