12/10/2025: A simple, rustic place – a true Italian restaurant for locals and you might be seated quite close to the next table, so don’t expect a fancy, tourist-style place. The service is generally friendly, though sometimes a bit slow and slightly chaotic – but that’s part of the charm. We had the Roman-style artichoke, spaghetti carbonara, and pasta with wild mushrooms – all were very good. The carbonara was actually our favorite out of five restaurants we tried in the area! Prices are a bit on the higher side, but overall fair for the quality. Reservations are recommended.

12/10/2025: Always a guarantee! Carbonara, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, artichokes Jewish-style, and artichokes Roman-style—all excellent!!

09/10/2025: A Roman-Argentine trattoria offering traditional dishes from both cultures, along with some interesting combinations. The restaurant isn't very large, with a small outdoor veranda overlooking the street. Attentive and helpful service, and prices are average for the area.

19/10/2025: The time goes by bad the problem ? The food is delicious, but the rest needs a lot of work. Just to give an example, there are no napkins under the desserts!

14/10/2025: A true "hidden" gem as far as authentic italian food goes. The location is to me perfect, on a quiet backstreet with little to no trafic - both on foot and vehichles. The staff, great and laidback. The food, tastes like you'd expect real italian food to taste like. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and Rigatoni alla Lilli. What makes the visit even more special was that a lot of locals ate here so you know it's good!

20/10/2025: The food was really tasty, you can tell it was made with care. Counted calories using the service in the photo — super convenient, just a few seconds and done!

08/08/2025: I often go to La Tana della Volpe, and it's always a sure thing! The risotto is spectacular, the sconcigli cream is unique, and the fried fish is always crispy. The oysters and fresh fish are also excellent, cooked to perfection. The place is beautiful, with an outdoor area, and the service is fast and friendly. The food is good.

16/10/2025: I had my nephew Matteo's baptism last Sunday. Everything was very good, the waiters were friendly, and the atmosphere was excellent.

13/10/2025: Trattoria osteria from the 80s but this also has its charm but the food is excellent and it's beautiful because it's simple and you eat well

05/10/2025: Excellent food, and the prices are excellent! Fair prices, friendly service, quality, and professionalism are just some of the hallmarks of this place. Excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and truly delicious dishes. They definitely deserve top stars!

13/10/2025: It was so good we went two nights in a row!! The service was great. Our server was very friendly and efficient. He told jokes and made recommandations. The food set the bar very high for the rest of our trip to Italy. The carbonara was the best we ever had, the cacio e Pepe was comforting and I have no words for the tiramisu. Yes it was THAT GOOD. We would 100% come back. If you absolutely want to eat there we would recommend making a reservation as this restaurant is often fully booked:)

24/10/2025: Highly recommended!!! One of the few non-touristy restaurants in Rome. The welcome and service are homely, as you'd expect from a typical Roman osteria! The tripe and cacio e pepe are excellent.

05/10/2025: So, my wife and I came unexpectedly last Tuesday around 1 p.m. and we were very well received. We don't speak Italian, and the waiter did the best he could in English... until he told us that his colleague/boss spoke very good French (we're French)... and then the experience changed completely. The lady, incredibly kind and passionate, talked us through all the dishes on the menu and recommended mushrooms (I don't normally like mushrooms) and pasta with white ragout in incredible French without any accent (okay, she admitted she spent her entire childhood in France). We took everything she recommended and we had a great time. So, impeccable service, incredible food, and kindness (and French) that deserved the highest possible rating... we had a great time. THANK YOU!!

05/10/2025: Unfriendly and makes some guests wait 30 minutes while he randomly calls in other people who arrive later. Doesn't treat all guests equally.

05/11/2025: Got a small surprise bonus on a website (you can see it in the photo) and decided to treat myself to dinner out. Ordered pasta — honestly, it was perfect. Simple but cozy and comforting.

30/10/2025: My wife and I were recommended this place by a local and it was some of the best Carbonara I’ve ever eaten! We arrived a few minutes before they opened for dinner with no reservations, and the owner told us they were fully booked for the night. Despite this, he was nice enough to fit us in a table for 90 minutes. My wife and I both had carbonara and split a bottle of wine, and it was a wonderful evening! The food was great, the servers and owners are very friendly, and I would highly recommend (and recommend making a reservation lol)!

08/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the heart of San Lorenzo, a vibrant part of authentic Rome. Family-run, the same owner has carried on the tradition with passion and hospitality for over forty years. The atmosphere is refined and inviting, the food is truly delicious, and the bill is fair. The only downside: it was Sunday, we hadn't booked, and due to the packed restaurant, our order was lost, forcing us to wait a little longer than expected. However, the staff was incredibly kind, offering us an aperitif and dessert to make up for it. A place definitely worth a second visit—this time with a reservation!

06/10/2025: The place remains exemplary. The best fried anchovies ever, time and cost are excellent. The charm remains unchanged, the service is friendly, fast, and competent. Very good.
