15/07/2025: Fresh fish. The sauteed mussels and their broth were excellent. The raw fish was honest. I recommend the grilled cuttlefish. The bread...I made three baskets of it, it was warm, with a very toasty crust.

13/06/2025: I loved everything. I usually don’t like eggplant but the white eggplant parm was outstanding. I got the oxtail ragu and it was so incredibly flavorful. This was at the beginning of a nearly two week trip to Italy and this was by far a standout.

18/07/2025: A great experience just steps from the Colosseum. We had dinner at "Bocconcino." We ordered a generous platter of typical Lazio products. Excellent cacio e pepe, tasty and flavorful. We recommend it.

16/07/2025: The welcome, service, and food are impeccable. Roman zucchini are truly special. Traditional recipes, unlike those found on every street corner. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the prices are understandable, especially considering the area... but definitely not for everyone.

20/07/2025: Everything was perfect. The carbonara was among the best in Rome (as was the gricia my girlfriend had). The oxtail stew was delicious; the meat melted in your mouth, and the soffritto made it incredibly flavorful. Bonelli, a guarantee of quality and value!

19/07/2025: A historic restaurant in the Testaccio neighborhood serving traditional Roman cuisine. We had an excellent fritto misto (supplì, potato croquettes, meatballs, battered zucchini) and various pasta dishes (carbonara, amatriciana, and gricia), all of which were extraordinary. Impeccable service.

Betta created it with Ivo, they have brought it over twenty years of activity among different refinements and delicacies, with a loving attention also to social inclusion. Thank you.

27/06/2025: A place I have wanted to try for years and finally I managed to go there during a group dinner. What can I say, very high expectations that were not disappointed. I tasted the eggs in tripe which were really good, and the CBT red pig which was delicious. You can feel the care and passion in their dishes. The only flaw, although the quality is unquestionable, is that the prices are a bit high if compared to the portions. There are many wines on the menu and an exceptional tiramisu. To finish, an unforgettable house bitter. Overall, it is absolutely worth a visit.

28/06/2025: This Roman trattoria, located in the heart of San Lorenzo, has become a guarantee for many years. The interior is welcoming but also has outdoor seating, the staff is very kind and the food is excellent, whatever dish you decide to take you are sure to be there ❤️

20/07/2025: I had dinner with a friend and we chose the quattrini primi option to share. Excellent choice; we had carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and Rugantino pasta with chicory and guanciale. Everything was delicious, and we also had a bottle of red wine. Plus, the wine was excellent, and they even gave us a free half bottle of their own red wine. When I return to Rome, I'll definitely eat here again.

04/07/2025: Excellent trattoria restaurant in the Monti district, exactly in via Panisperna. Excellent tender and tasty Argentinean meat served on hot plates (which do not allow the meat to cool down, so they can be eaten calmly), attentive, kind and fast service. I was very satisfied, it really seems like a restaurant that works from every point of view. The prices are fair for the quality offered, From what I have heard, I monticiani was born in 2011 in the heart of the Monti district with the desire to make known the tastes of the Argentine tradition and create a fusion with the flavors of Roman cuisine, using the best Argentinean meats, high quality products from the Italian territory and the goodness of small producers from Lazio. Exceptional service, we will definitely return to try other dishes.

03/07/2025: Rome is full of phenomenal restaurants, but this place was so good, we ate there twice. My husband's steak was the best he has ever had, and my pinsa and pasta were incredible. The owner patiently explained the menu to customers in Spanish, English, Italian, and French. We'd go back for sure. Highly recommended!
