14/05/2025: Terrible experience! We went to the restaurant for lunch and after finishing at 1pm the waiting staff started saying that we had to get up and leave the table free several times, hinting that we had to hurry up and pay. When we got to the cashier and asked the very simple question of being able to make separate bills, the owner started laughing and then in an irritated manner stated that we had to hurry up and split the bill between us because we were blocking the entrance to the restaurant. We pointed out to him that he wasn't treating us well and that there was no point in speaking to us in that way in front of other customers. I really don't recommend it!

12/05/2025: The area is full of "tourist restaurants" but this place is an exception, it is a REAL Roman restaurant.

29/04/2025: Although recommended by our hotel, this place was a disappointment. The food was quite good but it was overshadowed by the poor attitude, and indifferent service of the staff. We watched as the staff visibly rolled their eyes at patrons, dismissed people looking for a reservation and provided no sense of hospitality at all. The pasta was quite good and we both enjoyed dessert as well. Perhaps it was just a bad night but it seemed like the entire staff didn’t want to serve any customers!

25/04/2025: Excellent food in this old Roma family restaurant. The veal is tender and tasty, the squid salad is fresh and juicy, the spaghetti is just perfect ! Plus the friendly service,It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Roma.

25/04/2025: We went to eat in this restaurant during a tourist stay in Rome with the children, 5 of us, eating a first course each, water, coke, 1 second course and 1 dessert, €85. So the price was normal, the first courses were really good, I had an amatriciana (excellent), a gricia with truffle (exquisite) and a carbonara etc.. all very good, recommended!

16/04/2025: I chose Roman tripe, and the other person chose artichokes with veal. My guts were a poetry of taste. Soft, in tomato sauce with (I think) pecorino romano. Spicy, but not too much, so that you can feel all the flavors. Additionally, home-made white wine of quite decent quality, went perfectly with both dishes. Veal is also tasty, and artichokes? There's a lot to like here. We will definitely come back here, especially since the service was top notch. PS. We were probably the only non-Italians in a full room. It is worth making a reservation in advance.

10/04/2025: Welcomed by a real tavern with very friendly and professional staff, I felt at home. I ordered a bottle of wine, a carbonara and a vaccinia tail paying 34 euros (a fair price), honestly I have eaten better ones in Rome, despite not being Roman.

26/04/2025: We arrived in Rome from the Czech Republic. Our host recommended this restaurant. Even though we didn't have a reservation, the staff found us a seat despite the restaurant being full. The pizza was great, the atmosphere was great. Great experience. Thank you

11/05/2025: One of my fav restaurants in Rome. Seating inside is great, but I prefer the seating outside. Especially during the summer. All their pastas are yumm. You can blindly choose one, and you'll be very happy with what you get on your plate :)

11/05/2025: A very nice place with a huge variety of dishes. We only opted for a few pasta dishes, which were excellent. The carbonara was creamy and delicious. Plus, eating with Trastevere in the background at night is beautiful.
