07/05/2026: Quality and courtesy. It was crowded, and we had to wait a long time despite our reservation, but it was worth it. The staff was kind enough to offer us an aperitif while we waited, and they even offered us a bottle of wine. These gestures are unusual and always pleasant. We started with a mixed appetizer, from cured meats and cheeses to a delicious porchetta (we even asked for seconds), hot and cold dishes that we shared, and very good wine. We continued our lunch with a first course, even though we were already quite full from the appetizer, we had to order them!!! Gricia, cacio e pepe, and tagliatelle with wild boar... all delicious. Recommended if you're in the area.

04/05/2026: Typical fraschette atmosphere, small and quaint. Good and plentiful food. Good service, especially on the day we were there, May 1st; they even found us a seat.... The only downside is the clarity of the prices. There's no menu with the cost of the food, and everything is explained verbally.... And you end up with a somewhat hefty bill....

07/05/2026: On our way back from Naples, heading to Bolzano, we're looking for a place for cacio e pepe and carbonara. Like any other tourist, ChatGPT takes me here. I haven't even checked the reviews, but wow... I think it's the best place I've eaten in recent years, considering the quality/price ratio. It's basic, with just a few dishes on the menu, but excellent. Fabulous meatballs, a perfect carbonara, and a superb cacio e pepe. Not to mention the loaf of bread for mopping up the sauce... I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

07/05/2026: The staff in the dining room are kind, friendly, and ready to recommend what to choose. The food is superb, from porchetta to mozzarella, from pasta to house wines. Returning to Ariccia will likely mean returning to 'Dar Vignarolo. Highly recommended.

02/06/2026: Highly recommended! Everything was delicious and high-quality, and the staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Price: €16-25 per person depending on what you eat, but at €17 per person we left feeling full. Come here if you're in Ariccia!

02/06/2026: We had booked a table for two, and they seated us right away and brought us drinks right away. The service was top-notch. The waiters were very kind and helpful, and the food was divine. The appetizers and main courses were truly excellent, not to mention the Pan di Stelle tiramisu, which was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

02/01/2026: A restaurant with a true Roman fraschetta atmosphere. However, behind the excellent service and smiling waiters, we found a carbonara with touches of perhaps raw bacon and an egg "a frittata." The appetizers were nothing special. The uniquely shaped biscuits were charming.

30/12/2025: We were on the veranda, and I felt a bit chilly, despite the gas stove near the table. The seating (wooden benches) was a bit uncomfortable. The place is very rustic, a typical Roman osteria. We had the porchetta sandwich, which was excellent, as were the gnocchi with both ragù and truffle and sausage. I tried the mutton arrosticini, which were very good, as was the berry crumble. If you like the typical atmosphere of the Castelli Romani restaurants and the simplicity, this is a great place.
