14/05/2025: We chose Goose for dinner near our AirBnB and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere, service, and quality of food were all excellent. A special shoutout to our server, Tudorita, for her enthusiasm and attentiveness. Their pastas are homemade, perfectly al dente, and delicious! We got the fettuccine ai frutta di mare and cacio e pepe and would recommend both, along with their house wine (which only costs 8€ for 1/2 a litre!). 10/10, would recommend!!

05/05/2025: Food was delicious, we received bread but no oil or vinegar for dipping and the wine portion was lacking. We did receive free lemon sorbet at the end so let the other issues go. I'd recommend giving it a try.

02/05/2025: Food was tasty. Staff are great too (special mention to Maya and Bea for taking care of us during the two times that we ate there). They can be busy at times so you should make a reservation. Their Carbonara is a must try. Highly recommended!

21/05/2025: You cannot find a better restaurant in Rome. The best amatriciana in the city. The food is delicious, classic, and somehow unique. Renato is always innovating and playing with flavors. There are extremely few restaurants where you can get the highest quality roman classics alongside new age italian cuisine. Especially in the city center! There is so much care that goes into every step of the experience. Even starting with the delicious array of breads on the table when you sit. I visit from NYC a few times a year that’s how special it is! Grazie Renato!

20/05/2025: Very cute place, full of locals, but I didn't think the food was the best. I ate Carbonara and it was overly salty, and the Cacio e Pepe was just plain.

20/05/2025: I went to eat with some friends. Everything was very good. I am celiac and I took the gluten-free carbonara (the one without the bread underneath) and it was really excellent. We waited several minutes, but it was worth it. Excellent service. Recommended for celiac friends!

12/04/2025: Vengo in questo ristorante da un po' di tempo ormai perché trovo la cucina speciale e le due proprietarie altrettanto con la loro gentilezza e ospitalità. Purtroppo però l'aumento dei prezzi dell'ultimo anno e, per alcune portate, la diminuzione delle quantità, mi portano a tornarci meno frequentemente.

02/05/2025: One of the worst restaurants in Grottaferrata. Unfortunately I have to point out the terrible cuisine, the service better in comparison to the cuisine but nothing special. I strongly advise against it.

29/04/2025: We had dinner twice this week at Ai Balestrari: the first time on the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Rome and the second time yesterday because we loved it. The cuisine is extraordinary: products of very high quality, cooked with love by a friendly team, in a typical setting and at an unbeatable price in the neighborhood. Special mention for the fresh pasta with meatballs, which can be eaten even when you are no longer hungry. We will very happily come back during our next stay in Rome and this is the address that I will recommend to all my friends during their stays.
