26/02/2025: We had a delicious time in this restaurant. The staff, very friendly, took great care. Everything on the menu appeals… and everything was excellent (carciofi, Vitello tonnato, ravioli, bonèt, etc…) The setting is very warm. It is truly an authentic and high quality address. We will come back, that's for sure.

25/02/2025: Like almost all typical restaurants in Rome, you eat shoulder to shoulder with the tables on your sides. Once we ordered the food, after 45 minutes we had to get up to ask why it was taking so long. They apologized and after 10 minutes they did not bring something that we had not asked for. After complaining, they brought us, cold, what we had ordered. The waiter with whom we argued absolved himself of responsibility by saying that it was not his table (it is a small place). We didn't know which one was ours because each time one answered us. Dinner was tense and the food was pretty average.

08/03/2025: The owner is incredibly rude. They served me meat that looked like a sponge, overcooked and not tasty at all. When I pointed this out, they took my plate, cut the meat in half, showed it to me, and when I reiterated that it wasn't good, they took it away, ignored me for 20 minutes, and when I thought they were going to bring me a new dish, they instead told me I only had two options: eat the meat they had cut and ruined even more, or order a new dish but ALSO pay for it. Every time I tried to speak, the owner would walk away, then return only to insult me ​​and run away before I could respond. Horrible experience: terrible meat, rude and offensive owner. Don't come here!

08/03/2025: We went here on a Friday night with no reservation, the staff were very welcoming and found us a table outside. We both had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. The chimi churi dip was beautiful and the bottle of Argentinian Malbec was the perfect accompaniment!

The professional, nice and super friendly staff welcomed us and looked after us really Great. Book well in advance and enjoy a journey into fantastic Roman cuisine.

24/02/2025: I have been going to Ara Anua for several years now: the staff is always friendly and helpful, the quality of the dishes is exceptional. Anyone who visits Frascati for the first time - a charming town in the nerve center of the Castelli Romani - as a tourist cannot fail to stop in this restaurant to taste delicious Roman cuisine such as the fabulous carbonara.

21/03/2025: Love it and went back numerous times while visiting. The food was delicious, the service from Sandra, Tanya and Carola was very good. We sat outside the 1st night and inside, quaint neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommend the focaccia, house wine, artichokes, meatballs and carbonara. There is also a larger location but we preferred this location.

01/02/2025: A place to absolutely avoid,,,the blonde "waitress" is a first class CALLER, not in the profession, this is obvious and can be seen from the way she behaves.. Rude, Grumpy and All Her.. It would be good for the restaurant if she were removed.. But seeing the reviews I deduce that it is unlikely as it seems she is the daughter of the "owner".. Also because another place with its "way" of doing things, I don't know if it is suitable for this type of work.. You're not even fit to work in a fraschetteria, believe me.. Be grateful every day that you work in a "family" business. YOU ARE NOTHING ELSE.. ANSWER: I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, I DON'T EVEN HAVE A BIKE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW..

06/03/2025: Me and my partner were recommended this restaurant locally, and told to try the carbonara. We were not disappointed by the cosy atmosphere, great service and beautiful food. We had the carbonara, tonnarelli and red wine. They were all cooked beautifully and tasted fantastic. Would recommend a meal here.

22/02/2025: Nice restaurant on the Frascati viewpoint. Sober and welcoming furnishings. Characteristics of the cuisine, a modern reinterpretation of the classics of the Roman tradition. Resulting in a gray with artichokes, which then...gricia wasn't; a must of Roman cuisine, in our opinion a little characterless, typical of this dish. The artichoke on pecorino fondue is excellent, perfectly cooked. Prices a little above average (2 glasses of wine, 2 baked artichokes, 1 gricia and a platter of cheeses and cured meats 75 euros)

08/02/2025: Excellent experience. The room furnished with a neat disorder: chests of drawers, wine boxes placed almost to recall a home environment. There are large spaces between the tables and the result is to make you feel welcomed. Service: excellent. Trained, very kind, attentive waiter. Two examples: to pour me the wine he turns behind me and does it correctly from the right, and, when we ask for a cigarette, he goes out of his way and brings it to us in a small napkin. Dinner: I expected typical traditional Roman dishes. And instead I find a well-kept, original, creative menu. Creaminess, textures, flavours. Everything prepared very very well.
